Same with the gum, I almost die every time I tried smoking, I hate chewing on fabric makes my teeth feel weird,and chewing on my hair was dangerous. I lik silicone straws cause they are safe and hard to ruin.

Try on Amazon, they make them for those with chewing sensory, some are soft and others are a little tough. (They helped my son while teething and me when it's the stressful time of year and want to stop similar bad habits as your ma)
