Similar yes, but....

Virgil is more free in nature, he doesn't like being tied down and might avoid his responsibilities. Alex seems to holds duty in high regard, more willing to take action. I feel they might butt heads in do or die scenarios.

Not sure how bad that would end.

On Virgil's side; he is petty but he isn't one to hate. He will want to make up eventually.

I get the vibe that Alex would simply enjoy having a friend in his presence. They don't even have to speak, it's just knowing that someone is there.
