Name: Shiori Name pronounciation: Shee-OR-ee Nickname: Chii (pronounced chee) Gender: Female Pronouns: She/her Sexuality: Asexual biromantic Age: (17+) 29 Delmare/Moray/Normal Merfolk: Normal Merfolk Appearance: (20+ words) Shiori has warm, dark brown skin. Her melancholy eyes are purple, with long lashes. Her waist-length hair is dark brown, almost black, and wavy, with some tight, springy curls by her ears. She has droopy blue fins under her ears. Her full lips are purplish. Blue, light teal, and magenta scales are scattered across her face, arms, and chest. Shiori's light blue tail is almost four times as long as her body, and much thinner at its lower third. It has scattered white and magenta scales. Her pink tail fin is big and almost feathery, and she has 2 pairs of tiny feathery fins on her tail's lower third. She wears a pink v-neck top and a seashell necklace around her neck. Personality: (20+ words) Shiori is a melancholy, quiet mermaid who rarely smiles. She tries to keep her head down and avoid confrontation. She's generally very pessimistic, and prone to bouts of depression in stressful situations. She has a secret wanderlust and desire to explore outside the city walls, but avoids acting on it to avoid trouble. Other: (Family, Friends, Relationships, Strenghts, etc). She likes weaving, sculpting, and watching sea animals. She probably swims almost like a sea snake. She has a blue-lipped sea krait companion. She hasn't met any of the Warriors of Peace yet. Delmare/Moray/Normal Merfolk: Moray Appearance: Despite the fair skin that presents itself at first with Xavier, he finds himself with skin that seems closer to a beige sort of color. It's fair but it isn't too pale. At least not dark enough to hide the splattering of freckles across his cheeks and shoulders like spilled ink. A warm color usually flushes his cheeks to a soft rose-pink color, tinging his shoulders as well. To accent this fair skin tone, Xavier's hair is a deeper orange-red. It gives the warm color of wet rusted iron or perhaps more of a mahogany tinge to it. It's still very red in color, but not the fiery orange color that gingers usually bear. Speaking of gingers, his eyes aren't green. They're a deep sapphire blue, after all, the water is often renown for refracting light and his eyes have adapted to allow as much light in as possible. But, his eyes are the only piece of him that are really out of place. Xavier's merfolk half is scaled, as most are. But it is a deep charcoal color, tinging and bringing such a stark contrast to his fair human half. It seems so out of place and all of a sudden. But yet, he seems to wear it well. His tail is fan-like, spreading out and sweeping but a far more ruby red color. He does have some side fins closer down to his tail but they seem more like a part of his tail than anything else. Xavier can often be described as the idiot. He seems brainless and clueless at times, acting the fool is far too easy. Xavier grins, he laughs, he cracks jokes, he is the clown. That's what he wants to show off, he's the clown, he's the goofball. He doesn't care what others think. But this isn't all fun and games. When it comes down to it, Xavier has strong opinions and will often keep them silent until it really matters. He hates to leave others in danger and often puts himself in the center of attention to make sure that any trouble directs itself to him. After all, he can handle the pain. Xavier doesn't know if anyone else can. He seems to have friends but it takes a while to really get close enough to know him. Other: Xavier doesn't seem to have any family or relationships that affect his day to day. He lives seemingly alone, but goes out and enjoys company. He likes to think he's a Warrior of peace, even if his demeanor doesn't really show it. |

Name: Cassiopeia Name pronunciation: Cas-ie-o-pee-uh Nickname: Cassie Gender: Female Pronouns: She/Her Sexuality: Straight Age: 21 Delmare (heh, heh, heh...forgot to erase the others) Appearance: Waist down, she is a blue swordfish, with a large, fanned tail, that allows her to swim up to over 70 miles an hour (Yes, I checked how fast swordfish can swim, and slightly upsized it to fit with the scaling). She also has two, smaller fins under her tail. The human part of her is slim, with strong arms. She has long, lilac hair that goes down to her tail. She wears a twisting crown of coral that matches her hair colour, framed with gold and inlaid with pearls. She has a few dark-blue scales around where her gills are, around her eyes, and from her hands to her elbows, giving her clawed, webbed fingers. Among these are a few bioluminescent cyan scales, which glow brighter corresponding to her emotions. Personality: She doesn’t tolerate weakness. As her deceased mother was the leader of the Delmare, it left her with big shoes to fill. She is critical of others, but much more critical of herself. She is determined and fierce. If you gain her approval, and she becomes your friend, she is loyal, and would do nearly anything for you. However, if you shatter that trust even once, her favour will be forever lost. Most people view her as an ally rather than a friend, or someone young and naive to be manipulated, controlled and taken advantage of. This leads her to be wary of others, and doesn’t make friends easily. Other: Her mother is dead, her father (npc) is a general that now serves under her. She can, like most delmare, make glowing algae appear out of thin air-wait, no- thin water (haha pun), and make buildings get built or fall with a snap of her fingers. Her unique power is that, like her mother, if she waves her tail in a certain way, she can create a whirlpool, or a waterspout if she is on the surface. She can also communicate with fish.
