Considering how in the past had no vehicles, no technology, no electricity (no pizza, burgers, TV, phone, chargers, etc), but had slavery, segregation, and other terrible stuff, I will just stick with this suckish present that we have now. We consider it suckish, but compared to the past? We're literally living luxury lives compared to our ancestors.
