" Yah, she seems really shy. I think she's just afraid of first impressions." Jason followed Lucian to his stall "I'm in stall 36, my horses name is Solstace, what's yours? Not at all, mabye we'll be housed together. I your blankets really bright, I only have neutral colors. So, what breed is your horse? I have a shire stallion, he is the complete opposite of what you would think a stallion is, he would never hurt a fly." Jason thought Lucian was a cool name, Jason had a really plain name.

"Well, this is Helios. He's a Dutch Warmblood and... he's a little bit of a "ladies man" but what can you expect of a stud some days..." He sighs as the stallion gets settled in his stall and digs into his grain and hay. He'll squat down to start undoing leg wraps and boots. "I think I'm rooming with someone named Lukas? At least that's what the papers from check in said. My aunt was nice enough to get all that done for me while I got my big brat settled.

Helios is more than happy to wuffle and try to flirt with the mare he knows is just down the hall in between mouthfuls.

"Solstace loves to play with the mares, not exactly flirt with them. He's sired a couple of foals, but not to many." Jason didnt want to tell Lucian that Solstace had sired multiple of Grand Prix foals just yet. "I hope he's a good roommate for your sake. Your aunts pretty nice to do that for you, I had to do everything by myself. Anyways, I got to make sure that Solstace is ok, do you know where everything is? If you don't I can show you."

Will nod his head. Listening as Jason finishes up and he gets the last wrap off Helios' leg. "I don't think so. I think I am going to go and walk the grounds a bit after I finish putting away my tack."... his head tips as he looks to see a rather expensive trailer pulling up and a woman moving to unload a rather angry sounding black mare. "Um... well that girl sounds like a handful"

"Would you knock it off", her hand pops the chain on the end of the lead, the mare balks a little but otherwise calms at the reprimand. "Good lord Esie.... we just got to school.. stop acting like a riled up yearling and stand still like a good girl...."

With a sigh Victoria looks to the barn. "Joy... there's already people here.... great. I just hope they aren't too annoying to me or you princess" . Her manicured hand reaches out to scritch and scratch the black expanse of Esperanta's neck earning a happy nicker and a content swish of tail. She'll start towards the barn, the mare's formal dress blanket a sight to see in the sunlight with its golden rope details and piled edging. "Lets see.... 20... that's over here on this side". Her footsteps take her to the stall next to Skyla's.

"Ok, I'll see you then, hope you have a good day!" Jason said as he walked to make sure that Solstace wasn't to startled by the disturbance. On the way he passed the girl "Um, hi. I'm Jason, who's this pretty girl?" He asked, geusturing to the girls horse suddenly a dog came by, and Jason bent down to scratch the puppy. "What's your name pup?" He whispered, as he scratched the dog behind the ear it laid down and displayed its belly, ripe for scratching.

Skyla listened to the boys talk in the aisle way, cataloging the information to mull over after the escaped this social trap as she finishes fixing up her mare's braids. She will peek around Iris as the mare whickers to Helios and flushes at the noise outside. "My guess would be some sort of PRE by the sound... My Iris is mostly PRE, but far better mannered..." She will hide her face again, ashamed at the judgey comment she just made. She will fix her mare's stable blanket one more time before slipping into the aisle.

She will look into the stall next to her and internally groans. All the flashy blankets and expensive tack screamed spoiled rich kid, especially when the mare pitched a fit outside by the trailer. She will place the clip back on the latch and will tidy up her grooming bag before looking to Lucian. " Do... you maybe want to walk the horses after they finish eating? Iris had a long trailer ride from the airport and might want to stretch her legs..." Her voice is very quiet yet again.

"Alright, Lassie... In ye go." The thickly accented english seems to echo down the aisle as a taller man with wild red curls walks a leopard spotted mare down the aisle. She is covered in a trophy sheet and legs wrapped in thick shipping boots. The mare is following the man like a pup, walking into her stall and turning around politely so he can take off her halter. He will glance over into the stall with the black mare. "And who might you be, ye black lass? Ye look like something Spanish if I had te take a guess."

Without expecting an answer from the horse and ignoring the woman in the stall, he will turn to start taking off the shipping gear on his own mare. "How bout I get you some hay, Lassie? Then we can go for a hack later to stretch our legs, hm?" He will pat the mare's neck fondly before stepping back into the aisle to put the boots into his trunk.

Takes a breath as the fast talking guy walks away. Enjoying the peaceful sounds of his horse munching. After a second of seeing that Jason is talking with the new lady he will slip back over towards Skyla and Iris' stall. "Psst.... hey... are you still there?" he whispers. Trying not to be too loud. "I'm sorry if our classmate got a little ahead of himself... I'm Lucian as I said before.. um.. and that mare is really lovely. Is she a Norman by chance?" He will reach out to offer a hand for the buckskin to sniff. (Added due to post prior) "and coffee and lunch sounds great. I can buy if you want"

"um.. where did the dog come from?" , she looks around genuinely baffled by where the dog could have come from. "Uh... and you said your name was Jason?.. uh. Yeah.. nice to meet you this is Esperanta IV.. or Esie... and I really should be getting her inside. I want to make sure she can drink a little.. we've been driving all the way from Chicago and she needs her pampering"

(Added due to prior post) She perks up at the sound of the Scotsman. "Oh yes! .. Esperanta is a model example of her breed. She's pure cathusian. I'm so proud of her
