Morpheus watched as shock spread across Tori's face. "What is it? Are you pregnant?" He asked suspecting that she was.

"You run away while I hold the bear off okay. I'll follow as soon as I know you are safe." The dad called to his pup. Still trying to fend off the bear.

The pup shook scared, before running through the bears legs, and down the trail they were walking down. She then found a hole, big enough for her and her dad, but too small for the bear to fit in. "Daddy! Come on!" She yelled, tears falling down her cheek.

Tori groaned. "I don't know, it just, hurts, so much." She said, before feeling sick. Without warning, she groaned as she ran up, and ran outside, puking in a bush near the den.

"I'd say you are. I've seen a wolf with your injury before when I was a pup and she was pregnant. I'll head out now to get the healer. I should be back real soon." Morpheus padded away heading in the direction of his old pack.

The male wolf quickly followed behind his pup when she was safe. He didn't bother to look behind to see if the bear followed him or not.

Tori sighed. "But how? How did I get pregnant?" She said to herself, before licking Morpheus's cheek, and smiling. "Okay, goodbye" She said to him, watching him as he padded off into the woods, all by himself.

The pup pulled him into the hole, and shook scared. She then felt something wet on her back. She looked, to see what it was, and saw blood. Her dad was bleeding. "Daddy, your bleeding" She said, licking his wound. She then jumped back, as the bear stuck it's huge paw inside, and scratched around with it's long claws.

Morpheus started to run. He got about half way when he heard the sound of a bear.

"I'm fine." The dad said before bitting the bears paw.

The pup shook scared, trying to crawl further back.

Tori started to get worried, looking around, and waiting for him.

Morpheus slowed down a little and continued in the direction of his former pack and the bear. As he got closer he noticed that the bear was clawing at a hole. He heard the growl of another wolf. He decided to help and pounced on the bear.

The dad bit the bears paw again and watched as it reared up on it's hind legs in pain. "Run." he told the pup as he charged out of the hole and bit the bears throat.

The pup, scared, ran out and into a bush, before looking at the bear. "No, I need to help" She said, before running over to the three cubs, and attacked them. She shook one roughly, the other two trying to get her off. The mother bear was not happy, and nocked the two off, running over, but giving the pup enough time to run and hide, so she did. In a bush, to the right and shaking scared, watchign the bear sniff for her. When the bear was a distance away, she rolled in mud and poop, to hide her scent. This saved her, because the bear sniffed right in the bush she was in, and missed her.

Tori wagged her tail, getting up slowly, before limping out, and walking down the trail, looking for Morpheus. He had been gone for too long, she was way too worried about him, she needed to search.

Morpheus bit and scratched at the bear. "If we stop and back away from her and her cubs, she might leave us alone." He said as he stopped and backed away. He knew he would have to leave to get the healer any second and hurry back or Tori might get hurt.

The dad stopped."I agree." He backed away from the bear and her cubs slowly. "Sweety come here slowly and carefully."

The pup ran through the woods, surprising her dad, from behind.

Tori fell on the trail, but got back up. "Morpheus?" She asked, worried.
