Ferre is an odd one. They genuinely care about their Avatars and Champion but they're also still the deity of angst.

The cracking affects their ability to use their magic/abilities. The more they use their abilities/magic, the further the cracks spread. It's a relatively slow process though, and after the curse had stopped the spread stopped too. At that point, it was just a bit painful every now and then. They have gloves to hold their fingers/hands/arms in place now. And the gloves are also covered in old runes and sigils to help out too.

Is there a way to heal it though? ...Guess we'll have to find out, haha.

Aislinn will probably end up being the caretaker deity based on everything I've seen though (someone has to be-), she'll go around adopting everyone and becoming mother to literally anyone that she can (minus those few that she despises. Those people have a much bigger problem than being smothered) lmao

Also, I'm just double checking since my brain is mixed up with information, lol

Deities can have any form they choose (though they probably have one main one for when they're around humans/"lower beings"), and they have a "true form" that's harder for others to look at/process, correct?

I'm trying to figure out designs for Aislinn :)

Ferre used to be a voice of reason, probably, if not mostly in negative lights, but has kind of become a gremlin since the whole forgotten thing.

Deities can have as many forms as they want.

They do tend to have forms they prefer or forms they take when around mortals. Usually the one they use the most around mortals and each other is known as their 'most comfortable form' and the form that's used for altars, statues, and whatever else. The most human form is less known usually, though it depends on the deity, and could be used in order to try and have some time away from everything. That one mostly depends on the deity though. And then the 'true form' could be harder to look at/process, or it could just be a larger version of their most comfortable form, or something else. It's all decided by the deity. They first have their 'true form' and then figured out what to do for their other forms over time. So it's all based off what each deity decided to do.

It makes no sense but also all the sense ever. Ferre is such a gremlin. Much better than the uptight, vengeful, internalized ableism and transphobia that Ferre was before.

Aislinn has quite the job cut out for her. I wish her luck. She will need it. Good thing she has fortune as a secondary domain.

Well, luckily, she's very patient, lmao

Though she will murder anyone who so much as looks at her friends/children/found family the wrong way. Disrespect her as much as you want, be chaotic as you want, she'll roll her eyes, scold you, and move on. The second that any ounce of disrespect or cruelty is thrown towards her loved ones, death is inevitable

This is especially true with her Champion and Avatars, she totally sees them as her kids XD

Meanwhile Ferre is just queerplatonic besties with Sanguinex, absolutely infodumping about vivsections and history at Caleb and absolutely quickly seeing them as a bestie too, and I don't know about the third yet. But Ferre is definitely just besties with all their Avatars and Champion. Anyone able/willing to deal with them for any length of time is a bestie.

You insult any of them and die. Ferre, Caleb, or Sanguinex. Vengeance is a secondary domain of theirs for a reason.

The family dynamic is amazing and honestly- The order actually works with what I was expecting with the two eldritch beings (Kataru and Mion, haha >:3) that put them there.

Aislinn was the first one put in place, being the one of life and whatnot, to help as they prepared to leave

Sannawa was put in place second because well, death is pretty big too.

And... That was supposed to be all. Life and death. Done. The two eldritch beings were going to stay just long enough to get the two in order and teach them whatever they knew/could and then book it.

Some extraneous circumstances later and Ferre was put in place. And then the two eldritch beings immediately booked it, since with Ferre in place too (due to the circumstances mentioned), teaching the trio wasn't as necessary for them to do before leaving. So... Yeah.
