And sometimes the parasite would ruin a body so that they have one of those conditions, and that weakness would also carry over into zombie form.
Oh, yeah, that makes a lot of sense. As I explained with the idea of someone having a missing limb before turning, whatever injury the individual had before getting infected will carry over to their zombie form after turning. The excessive amount of adrenaline being pumped into the body might have physical side-effects, too, besides the erratic twitchiness and shit. |

Err, well, considering how big 200 acres of land is and that they're presumably going by foot, they'd probably still be making their way out of Daedalus at that point, right? Or at the very least, they would have just finished their exit. They'd probably have just woken up while some people stand guard, so it would mostly consist of characters just getting up and starting to set up to leave once again.

I honestly don't know what to do for my first post yet. Do you have a setting/location planned for the start of the RP? Also, are there any mutations in the infected? I did do a little research and saw that parasites can rapidly evolve. Or would it be to early for it, or will something like this happen at all? (Please correct me if I am wrong on anything below) I also understand that you have to die to become one of these zombies, but leading up to your death is there any others signs of infection? I mean, you are sick and dying, but behavior wise, like acting erratic or insanely fearful(which are not necessarily suggestions, more of examples). Then if you were bit, on let's say a limb, could it be removed to save the person since it wouldn't have time to spread throughout their blood stream if it was caught in time? Or would they still be infected? I had another questions but my post was deleted so I need to remember it ;-; |

What do y'all think about starting at 7:30 AM of November 1st? I'm not sure where the characters will be at exactly; if they travelled by car, then they'd probably be right outside of San Francisco on the beginning of the long-ass I-80 that stretches from SF, past Treasure Island, through Yerba Buena Island, to Oakland. If they travelled by foot, they'd probably be outside of Daedalus, travelling on the I-280 and heading to the I-80. I'm thinking that Daedalus was somewhere sandwiched in Diamond Heights? Anyway, if they were both travelling by car and by foot, they'd likely be nearing Portola, which is one of the places where the I-280 merges with the I-80. |

I'm a bit too impatient to wait a month to start this, I think. But the routes make sense, yes, so I guess it depends on if anyone knows how to drive a car and have access to a working one. |
