"Well fuck that." Sky said quietly, letting out another sigh. Skylar looked back at Jake for a moment before getting up. He walked over to the bed and sat down on it. Although it wasn't all that comfortable, it was more comfortable than the floor. He then looked over at Jake, and then patted his bed, wanting Jake to come sit with him. He smiled slightly and moved his hair out of his face.

Jake watched as Skylar got up and went to the bed on the other side of the cell. When the other patted the bed Jake got up and stretched a bit before brushing himself off, making sure there was no dust or dirt on his uniform. He then walked over to the bed and sat down where Skylar had patted it. The cell then fell silent for a while as Jake tries to think of something to say. "So," he says after a while, "anything you want to talk about now?"

Skylar brought his knees up to his chest as Jake sat down beside him. "I don't know." Sky said quietly and sighed. He then looked over at Jake for a second before leaning on him, his legs slightly on top of Jake's. "I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble, I know things could have been easier." Skylar then said, breaking the silence. His voice was quiet, almost a whisper. He brought his hand out from his chest and put it on top of Jake's for more comfort.

Jake sat in the silence with Skylar for a while until he felt him move some followed by something touching him. He looked over at Skylar and saw that he was now leaning against him and before he then moved his legs to lay on Jake's. "It's ok, besides I know you didn't mean to," Jake says in a calm voice as he watched Skylar now place his hand on his own. He could feel his face warming up slowly from all of this interaction and closeness.

Sky slowly stopped leaning on Jake and backed up. He looked up at him with tired eyes before lying down in the cell bed. He grabbed the very shitty blanket and put it on his body, mainly his legs. He moved his legs so they were now behind Jake, his thighs resting on Jake's back. "Stay until I fall asleep, Please." Sky said as he looked at Jake, smiling slightly before reaching for one of Jake's hands.

A worried thought crossed over Jake's mind as Skylar leaned away from him before he relaxed and realized that he was just laying down on the bed. Once he had gotten comfortable Jake nodded at his comment. "Sure," he says with a soft smile, "besides, anything is better than some paperwork." He chuckled some at his own comment before looking down at their hands as they gently held one another's hand.

As Sky shifted his position slightly, he got more comfortable. He closed his eyes and his grip on Jake's hand became more and more loose until he wasn't even holding it anymore. Though he wasn't fully asleep yet, he was pretty close since he was so tired. Having Jake be there for him helped him fall asleep faster as well.

Jake watched their hands as he a.) did not know where else to look and b.) did not want to stare at Skylar as he fell asleep. Although Skylar's grip on his hand loosened over time Jake kept them touching. He thought it was nice to lay there with Skylar but knew that this should be something they should do not within a jail cell. He let out a quiet sigh and leaned back against the wall behind him and continued to gently hold Skylar's hand.

In a matter of minutes, Skylar was asleep. He had hoped that he didn't have to stay in jail for much longer. He dreamt about getting out of there, and rebuilding whatever he and Jake had. Skylar for sure liked him and wanted him, but he wasn't in the best mental state, rehab would help though he wasn't excited for it.

Once Jake had confirmed that Skylar was asleep he slowly and carefully stood from the cot and headed to the cell door. He moved around as quietly as he could and slowly opened and closed the door. When he exited the cell he headed back to his desk and began to look through the new files, trying to see for Skylar's sake what he had gotten into. After a bit of searching through the mountain of files he found Skylar's file and began to read through it.
