*Strength becomes depleted when you don't care for yourself.* She said softly. *Last thing we'd want is for you to get into some kinda sticky situation.*

Lucas huffed quietly before he stood up and snatched a small part of her meal and ate it before walking back to the counter and looked at her with a "is that what you wanted?" look.

*Thanks.* She chuckled softly before she finished eating her meal. She got up and brought her plate to the sink, washing it while she started humming.

Lucas smiled as he looked at his hands before realizing his mask was still in the bedroom and he walked back to it, moving agilely and quickly. He grabbed his mask and put it on with a sigh of relief. He grabbed her mask and walked back to her, silently stepping behind her, he put her mask on her head gently.

She jumped at first before realizing it was just him. She chuckled softly and lifted a hand to carefully adjust it back to place. She looked over her shoulder and chuckled, *Thanks again.*

Lucas nodded to her before giving her a hug. "Sorry about scaring you." He said with a light whimper. "I really didn't mean to. It's just normal for me to walk without a sound." He said and gently tightened the hug. "Even if I'm carrying you."

*Its not your fault. I normally keep myself on guard, half expecting the worst to occur.* She said softly. She kissed his cheek as she hugged him back gently.

Lucas looked at her and blushed. "Well, you can't get anything worse than me." He laughed. "But now that I am here, I'll keep you protected." He nuzzled his nose into her shoulder with a happy hum.

She chuckled softly and said, *Ive got both the worst and protective person in my life. Not that I'm complaining.* She smiled softly and said, *My wounds are getting a bit better compared to yesterday.*

Lucas smiled. "Good, because I'm not going anywhere." He said and gently scooped her up and brought her over to the couch and sat down. "Good. You should continue to heal." He said and gave her a few kisses on her forehead and cheek.
