With a joyful trot, he ventured out and carefully gathered a handful of lush, oversized ferns. Blue's attention then shifted to his search for the perfect vines to fashion a sling. "Spot, tell me, which paw is giving you the most trouble?" he inquired, never taking his eyes off a tree adorned with dangling vines.

The right. *holds up paw*

As Blue gazed at the vines, he pondered on the best way to retrieve them. Suddenly, a brilliant idea struck him - why not climb up and get them? He abandoned the ferns and searched for a suitable slope around the tree. After finding one, he cautiously stepped onto it and leaped up to a nearby branch. With the vines clenched tightly in his mouth, he swung down triumphantly. But then, a loud SNAP echoed through the forest. (Hehe- cliffhanger!)

what do you hear Blue?

Sorens head snapped up at the noise. He looked around and his eyes landed on the pups. "Blue please tell me that you made that sound." He said frantically looking around. "No one move" he said as he sniffed the air. It was still clear. His ear swiveled on his head as he looked around ready to get the pups back in the den at any sign of danger.

"Ow?" Blue rose to his feet, only sustaining a minor scratch as the ground beneath him was relatively smooth, save for a few pebbles that caught him off guard. "I swung from there-" He paused mid-sentence, spitting out the vine that had been in his mouth. "I swung from there to retrieve a few vines, everything's fine!" Blue reassured Soren, retrieving the vines and carefully placing them alongside the ferns. "Scaredy cat." he playfully muttered to Soren.

Soren glared at blue. "I'm not a scaredy cat. I just don't need humans or bears or other wolves or something coming and attacking and hurt you and spot." He told blue before poking him gently in the ribs with his paw. "But fine if you would rather ill just go back in the den and take a nap and you can protect yourself he said walking past towards the den."
