.`* Ash *`. ... His wings pressed against his body, molten red and magma orange, overlaid upon black, pressing against his black hoodie with a faint sizzling sound. He wished to go home. Ash felt alone and terribly cold for a fire Dragonkin. How could his parents abandon him here..? He took a few steps, leaving a small trail of ash from his heated red/black talons and fiery tipped tail, then paused. He sighed, rolling his head back. He was alone, in the woods, on a bench he had found. He was computing the stress of having nobody. Just the other day his mother had told him about this.. new camp.. in a painfully gleeful tone. She was glad to get rid of him... He clenched his fists, his tail lashing as he sat down. A terrible, clawing pain raked his stomach. He felt infinitely alone. It felt worse than knowing his mother and step-father hated him. They had just abandoned him. Ash couldn't cry. The heat from his skin and scale absorbed the tears almost instantly, also showing he couldn't exactly get wet. He could let off steam though, which was what was happening now. Faint trails of steam trickled into the air from his ornery eyes. He forced himself to stop. Ash got up and began walking back to camp, slightly unsure of the way to go, his talons leaving prints along the ground, his tail dragging behind him. |

Ash hears a loud *thud* up ahead and assorted cursing, some of which is in a language he can't even understand. He turns a corner around some trees to find a tall, thin man with long, dark auburn hair struggling to pick up the spilled contents of an overstuffed travel-bag. He sighs, curses his luck one more time, and finally looks up to notice his audience. "Oh, another onlooker, ey? Here to gawk like the last one? Swear you've all never seen an Irishman before..." He finally manages to get all his stuff packed away, then notices what all Ash is carrying. "You on your way to camp too?" ----- Draco finally manages to find his way back to camp, a little late for a counselor. He rushes through the front gates, almost barreling into a young girl with elf-ears in the process. "Sorry, sorry! Coming through!" He rushes around and past Jasper hurriedly and tries to pick out where all the staff are supposed to be meeting. Taking a moment to catch his breath, he drops his bags and looks around. |

Draco's head snaps up when he hears Stellan's voice, his eyes darting around the clearing looking for his old friend. It's been a few years since he was last here, and he was really looking forward to seeing the little ghost again. Watching him as he turns around, seemingly blind as to where Stellan is, it becomes all the more obvious just how much he has changed. His thin body has finally filled out in some places, his scales no longer covering quite as much of his skin, and his once-rugged features have smoothed over, giving him an almost girlish in expression. However, he's certainly still not someone you'd pick a fight with. He's clearly put on some muscle in his time out of camp, and he still doesn't seem to have grown into his oversized wings. He's a lot taller now, too. Way too tall to pass as a human anymore. He turns around one more time, finally noticing his friend in the tree, and grins. He spreads his wings and, with one big flap, is up in the air. He lands near-perfectly on the limb of the tree just above Stellan, only stumbling slightly, before carefully climbing down onto the lower branch. He makes an attempt to hug the ghost, if that's even possible. |
