Try on Amazon, they make them for those with chewing sensory, some are soft and others are a little tough. (They helped my son while teething and me when it's the stressful time of year and want to stop similar bad habits as your ma)

If you don't have apples, the solution is to remove the wolves that are dragging down Pack Happiness.

Make sure no two wolves have the same amount of Dominance CP and ideally get rid of any wolves with OK, Bad or Very Bad affinity.
