Dusk 'til Dawn After delivering a herd of cattle to a distant market, six riders prepare for the long journey back to their home ranch. However, their plans change when the townsfolk plead for their help in retrieving a missing herd of horses vital to the town’s survival. Faced with the townspeople's desperation and the impending winter, the riders agree to embark on a new mission to track down and retrieve the lost herd.
Setting out into unfamiliar and rugged terrain, the riders must rely on their instincts and limited knowledge of the area. After gathering what information they can from the locals, they begin to follow subtle clues left by the missing horses—hoof prints, broken branches, and other signs that point them in the right direction. As they delve deeper into the wilderness, they encounter natural obstacles from the environment and various threats that no doubt will be watching as they go. With the weather growing colder, early snowfalls complicate their journey further, testing their endurance, unity, and pushing them all to their limits.
While on their journey, the group needs to figure out exactly what they're up against. Was it a freak incident that caused the horses to run and become lost during a recent bad storm like the town believes? Or was there a more nefarious reason for the horses' disappearance? The group is used to dealing with the dangers of the Open Range as well as the thick forests and craggy mountains, but this mission feels different. The further they travel, the more an element of the unknown looms over them, raising questions about what they are truly getting into.
Whatever awaits them at the end of their trek, they understand that reclaiming this herd is not only vital for the town but also important for themselves. Unfortunately, with much of the journey still ahead, they know they'll likely be returning the herd well into the start of winter, making their task even more challenging. Ultimately, this mission, fraught with danger and uncertainty, will become a testament to their resilience, skill, and unity as a group, ensuring the town's survival and strengthening their bonds.

The Roleplay Rules
Follow all of Eve's and Wp's Rules
1. It should be expected by now: Be Active. Real life will always come first, but if you disappear or don't post for a week or more, it's only fair for the rp to remove you.
2. Maximum of 4 Total characters for this rp, this means you may only have 2 pairs total [of Rider + Horse].
3. For this Rp, you are required to Rp your own horse. There is no exception to this rule as of now, but I may allow it if you ask. You cannot, however, ONLY rp a horse.
4. This is a Semi-Literate and Semi-Realistic Rp. So keep those expectations in mind.
5. The Riders will age in range from 20s to 40s. Nothing under 21 please.
6. This is set in a more Western Setting, so keep that in mind as well when making your characters.
7. No perfect characters, godmodding, powerplaying, etc. It will not be tolerated.
8. The horses can talk to one another, but they cannot actually talk to the riders.
9. These riders are experienced, but are unfamiliar with the area they are traveling through, so there will be some struggle. I'd like the riders to have a variety of skills.
