Didnt Eve recommend for artists to do payment AFTER turning in the art. Or at least she said that to the Horse Eden Game. Its a weird suggestion to not pay upfront, but I think she said that to avoid that issue

Chapter 20
~
Fractured Reverie
The oppressive stillness of the mansion persisted as Lysander, his expression unreadable, questioned Kinryu about the mysterious events that had unfolded within its hallowed halls. Kinryu, still dazed and disoriented, struggled to articulate a coherent narrative.
"I don't know what happened," Kinryu repeated, his voice wavering. "One moment Aeliyx was gone, and the next, Raedier accused me of his death."
Lysander, though skeptical, acknowledged the absence of conclusive evidence against Kinryu. With a stern gaze, he issued a warning. "Stay in your room. Don't leave until we figure this out. There's too much uncertainty."
Reluctantly, Kinryu acquiesced, allowing Lysander to escort him back to his room. The door closed behind them, leaving a lingering sense of uncertainty in the air.
As the mansion succumbed to the silence of the night, a sudden, thunderous crash shattered the calm. The noise reverberated through the corridors, jolting the mansion's inhabitants from their uneasy slumber.
Knox, swift and alert, rushed towards the source of the disturbance. The echo of footsteps filled the corridor as the others, drawn by the commotion, followed in apprehensive pursuit.
The scene that awaited them in Kinryu's room unveiled a tableau of despair. Kinryu lay motionless on the floor, a tableau of tragedy etched in the moonlight streaming through the window.
Knox, a sense of dread seizing his heart, checked for signs of life, finding none. "He's gone."
The room, now a crypt of sorrow, housed the shattered remnants of a life extinguished. The silence that followed echoed with the weight of their collective grief.
Lysander, his stoic demeanor momentarily fractured, gazed at the lifeless form before him. "This can't be a coincidence. Two deaths in this mansion within such a short span."
The others, a somber assembly, exchanged glances fraught with uncertainty. Even the butler, a silent spectator to the unfolding tragedy, stood at the periphery of the room.
As the weight of loss settled upon them, questions and accusations lingered, obscuring the truth like a veil draped over the mysteries of the Cyrus Mansion. The journey that had begun with a summons now spiraled into a web of darkness, ensnaring the remaining occupants within its labyrinthine threads.
The mansion, once a beacon of opulence, now cradled the echoes of desolation within its walls. The night, unwilling to yield its secrets, enveloped the mournful gathering in a shroud of silence, leaving them to grapple with the relentless shadows that clung to the unraveling tapestry of their fates.

Chapter 20..
I feel so bad for Raedier T^T You'll kinda like the next chapter..
~
Veiled Accusations
The mansion, shrouded in the aftermath of Kinryu's tragic demise, became a theater for accusations and suspicion. The air, thick with tension, hung heavily around the occupants.
Lysander's gaze bore into Raedier, the weight of unspoken accusations evident in his eyes. "Two deaths, Raedier, and you were present for both. Explain the peculiar circumstances surrounding these losses."
Raedier, his shoulders heavy with grief and the weight of suspicion, sighed in exasperation. "I can't deny that it's suspicious, Lysander. But you have to believe me—I loved Aeliyx. Why would I harm him? And Kinryu... it doesn't make sense."
Knox, caught between loyalty and doubt, interjected, "Lysander, there's no concrete evidence linking Raedier to any of this. We can't jump to conclusions without proof."
Lysander, unwavering, countered, "It's more than mere coincidence. First Aeliyx, and now Kinryu. Raedier, you can't deny the scrutiny that follows you."
As the room became charged with tension, the butler, ever composed, entered bearing a tray of drinks. "Gentlemen, perhaps a moment of respite is in order. Drinks to soothe the weary souls."
Lysander accepted a glass, eyes never leaving Raedier. Knox hesitated but took one as well. The butler, seemingly indifferent to the atmosphere, placed the tray before Raedier.
With the liquid touching Lysander's lips, a fleeting unease crossed his face. Without a word, he abruptly stood, leaving the untouched drink behind. "I have matters to attend to. I suggest you find the truth quickly."
His departure left a chilling silence in its wake. The remaining occupants exchanged wary glances, the air fraught with suspicion.
Raedier, frustration and sorrow etched on his face, slammed his fist on the table. "I didn't kill anyone! But I can't deny the strangeness of Kinryu's death. It doesn't make sense. Aeliyx—why would I hurt him? I loved him."
Knox, grappling with conflicting emotions, sighed. "We need to get to the bottom of this. Accusations won't bring them back. But something is off with Lysander. We can't ignore that."
The room, a battleground of emotions, bore witness to the unresolved questions that lingered, taunting them with the elusive truth. As the night deepened, the mansion's walls whispered cryptic secrets, leaving the remaining occupants to confront the shadows that encircled them—a dance with uncertainty that promised no respite.

Veins of Poison
In the hushed aftermath of Lysander's sudden departure, the room bore the weight of uncertainty like a festering wound. Raedier, his eyes a turbulent storm of emotions, refused the drink offered by the butler, a small act of defiance amidst the prevailing distrust.
As the butler reclaimed the untouched glasses, his stoic facade remained unyielding. "Gentlemen, it seems the shadows that shroud this mansion have claimed another. Lysander has been found dead, and the cause remains elusive."
Knox, a flicker of panic in his eyes, clutched at the edges of reason. "The drinks! They were poisoned! I'm next!"
Raedier, fueled by a volatile mix of sorrow and suspicion, turned accusing eyes toward the butler. "You served those drinks. Are you responsible for this?"
The butler, a portrait of composed indifference, responded calmly. "I assure you, I am but an executor of my duties. I am not privy to the designs of fate."
Knox, now teetering on the brink of hysteria, pressed further. "Why would Lysander die like that? It has to be the drinks. We're being poisoned!"
Raedier's accusatory glare intensified. "Did you poison those drinks? Answer us!"
The butler, his expression unwavering, shook his head. "I am a servant, not an executioner. I do not partake in the shadows that dance in the corners of this mansion."
As accusations hung in the air, the room seemed to close in on itself, a stage for a macabre play unfolding with each passing moment.
Knox, grappling with fear and paranoia, recoiled. "What if we're all poisoned? What if this is some twisted game?"
Raedier, fueled by anguish and mistrust, seethed. "We need answers. We can't continue like this."
The butler, now an enigmatic figure in the dim light, regarded them with an unreadable expression. "The shadows deepen, and the threads of destiny entwine. Seek the truth, but beware the darkness that may ensnare you."
With that cryptic proclamation, the butler withdrew from the room, leaving the occupants suspended in a realm of uncertainty. The mansion, a labyrinth of secrets, seemed to revel in the torment of those ensnared within its walls.
As Raedier and Knox grappled with their own fears and suspicions, the mansion's eerie silence whispered promises of revelations and perils yet to come. The unraveling shadows, a silent witness to the unraveling tale, cast its ominous veil over the remaining occupants, entwining their fates in a dance of deception and trepidation.

mhmhmh chapter 23?
~
Poisoned Veins and Clawed Whispers
The ominous air in the room thickened, a palpable tension as Knox, gripped by paranoia, crumpled to the floor with a muted gasp. Raedier, his eyes wide with shock, rushed to Knox's side, desperate for a sign of life.
"Knox! Knox!" Raedier's voice trembled as he shook his friend's lifeless form. A shadow crept over the room as the harsh reality of another death sank in. Poison had claimed Knox's life.
In a daze, Raedier staggered to his feet, his mind a tempest of confusion and fear. His instincts guided him toward the one he suspected—the butler. As he navigated the labyrinthine halls, the mansion's silence seemed to echo with sinister whispers.
Finally reaching the butler's quarters, Raedier found the door ajar. The room, once a haven of order, now bore the signs of a struggle. Furniture lay overturned, and the butler's lifeless form lay sprawled on the floor.
A gasp escaped Raedier's lips as he noticed the gruesome details—claw marks etched into the butler's lifeless form. Horror tightened its grip on him, realizing the sinister truth—something more malevolent than poison lurked within the shadows.
He stumbled back, the revelation propelling him into a visceral sense of danger. Panic took hold as Raedier raced back to his room, his heart pounding in sync with the echoing footsteps that pursued him in his mind.
Entering his room, Raedier locked the door, the trembling fingers betraying the fear he sought to suppress. The shadows that danced on the walls now seemed to coalesce into sinister shapes, haunting whispers weaving a tapestry of impending doom.
As he caught his breath, Raedier's thoughts raced. The deaths, the enigmatic nature of the butler's demise—everything pointed to a malevolent force that lurked within the mansion's very core. The once-alluring shadows now harbored an insidious threat, and Raedier found himself ensnared in a nightmarish dance.
With each passing moment, the shadows deepened, obscuring the path ahead. Raedier, trapped within the walls of the mansion, grappled with the chilling certainty that the shadows held secrets that defied comprehension—a dance of darkness that threatened to consume all who dared to unravel its mysteries.

Chapter 24!!
~
Shadows of Doubt
The moon painted the room in an ethereal glow, shadows flickering as Raedier drifted between the realms of dreams and wakefulness. A subtle creak shattered the stillness, drawing him from the embrace of sleep.
With a hushed sigh, the window yielded to the night, revealing a silhouette against the moonlit backdrop. Raedier's breath caught as recognition dawned—an apparition that bore the visage of Aeliyx, a ghost from the recesses of his memory.
"Aeliyx?" Raedier's voice, laced with a blend of disbelief and hope, pierced the silence. The figure persisted, a wraith conjured by the moonlit night. Was it real, or an illusion woven from the threads of longing?
"Are you real, Aeliyx?" Raedier's words, tentative yet laden with a yearning that transcended the tangible, hung in the air. "Or are you a fragment of my desire, a specter born from the echoes of my deepest yearning?"
Aeliyx, a specter in the moonlight, met Raedier's gaze with eyes that held an unspoken story. The room seemed suspended in time, a stage where reality and illusion danced in tandem.
"Do you... do you really love me, Raedier?" Aeliyx's question, a fragile melody echoing through the night, cut through the silence.
Raedier, caught in the throes of conflicting emotions, hesitated before the weight of truth. "Yes, Aeliyx. Despite the shadows and time, my love for you endures."
In the pregnant pause that followed, Aeliyx's countenance shifted. Moonlight reflected off the cold steel of a gun—a gesture that betrayed the convergence of love and danger. The room held its breath as Aeliyx, once a silhouette of solace, became an embodiment of uncertainty.
"Why now, Raedier?" Aeliyx's voice, tinged with a volatile blend of emotions, shattered the fragile peace. The gun, an extension of his uncertainty, found its mark as he pointed it at Raedier.
The room, now a theater of conflicting desires, witnessed the fragile dance of two souls ensnared in the shadows of love and suspicion. As the moon continued its silent vigil, Raedier confronted the spectral manifestation of his past, unsure whether the night held the promise of reunion or the ominous prelude to a new tragedy.
