Would it be possible to turn my photography into avatars available to purchase - and if so, would it be alright to post them in the 'art shops' section?

How do I make my art appear?

Avalon - Yes; that's perfectly fine (sorry for the uber late response)
Warrior Terror - Upload your images to Postimg(.)cc then copy the direct link to the image and paste it where you want the image to appear on. Copying the correct, direct link is important, otherwise only a jumble of letters and numbers is going to show up.

Is the art only for avatars? Like can you use them on your wolves or no? Because HorseEden allows it so I was wondering if WolfPlay did too

Hello! If I draw something for WolfPlay, and I post it here (using the permited sites like Tinypic), but also on the other hand i also post the drawing in Deviantart, is there a chance that the mods think that I stole that piece? Do I have to put credits just in case so they can see that the publication in DA is mine and therefore authorized? Edited at March 28, 2019 06:49 PM by Starlight Ravens

Starlight Ravens-- Uploading to DA is perfectly fine. If you're still concerned, you can add "This is an avatar for Wolfplay" or similar to the description.

Question: how long after sending payment should I give an artist to post a finished piece before declaring I've been scammed? Is there any way to get those mush back if it is a scam? It's been a month since they said my art is ready and I sent 250 mush to them, they have yet to post it. They still log in every day but no word, and while I get that life happens and they're struggling, it takes 2 seconds to post an explanation at least.

If you have an issue with a member, it would be best to PM a mod as we don't reply to this thread very often.
The artist should be able to give you a timeline of when they should finish.
In your case, they claim they have already finished but have not given you the finished work either through PMs or messages, which already sounds suspicious. They may be eligible for a suspension from the forums for scamming if they don't give you what you paid for.
Whether you get your mush back or not depends highly on how willing the person wants to return it in the end. We generally instruct people to return what they owe, but there is always a slight chance they don't go through with that.
