You can find several free-to-use avatars in the Art Shops board if you're interested.

I understand that posting avatars without credits on the image itself is acceptable so long as you're crediting it somewhere easily found on your profile, but what about posting images on the forum? Would I be able to post images I've created without credits on them so long as I credit myself in the thread?

ok, i have a question... what if on a social non-art site (ex discord), someone draws something for you as a gift or for some other currency that you pay (but you don't have screenshots because (with the discord example still) the server was deleted)? or for someone you know in real life drawing something for you and giving it to you? in both of these scenarios, there's not a location online to properly credit the original artist... what if i wanted to post one of those drawings somewhere? whether it be bio, avatar, forums... would i be able to post any? and if so, how would they be credited? i don't want them to be taken down by mods, but a few of them i really like. i just wanted to know if i'd be able to put them anywhere or not. and if i did get a screenshot for proof of someone gifting/selling/giving me permission to use their art, would that change things, even if there's still no proper or known account to credit them with?

crystallynn17 - It's probably safest to see if they have a WolfPlay or deviantArt account first. If they have either the former or the latter, or better yet, both, then you can credit them on one of those. Discord tags aren't permitted here as it is considered inviting offsite. The same goes for Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and other social media. deviantArt is an exception as it is more of an art portfolio site than social media. If you were to credit the person by their real name, I'm not sure if that would be allowed. I'm imagining not, as I haven't seen it around here before. Hope this answers your questions!

This may have been answered already, but I can't remember. If I have a picture I drew in my Google Drive, an I able to upload it form there to a forum?
