Annndddd, if it's possible, also maybe having Ambrose dragging Illon and Karma to his old home (that he supposedly wants to go to to visit his mother's grave)? I'm realizing, yet again, how much family trauma all my characters have-

Honestly same. All of my characters have horrid family trauma. Especially Blair, Amel, and Salen. Eni and Illon actually have the least horrid. At least when it comes to trauma from some sort of physical abuse. Emotional abuse however? Illon, Salen, and Blair take the cake. Verbal abuse? Salen, Amel, and Eni win that one. Mental abuse? Illon, Salen, and Eni get that one.

Overall? Salen's got insane family trauma. That she doesn't even remember. Haha. Part of her corruption arc, no worries.

Ohh, breaking it down? I can do that, lmao.

For physical abuse Karma definitely wins overall, though Agnar had pretty bad physical abuse in a lot of the foster homes and children homes he was in (not technically family trauma, but Imma count it anyway, since Agni never knew his family) also, Ambrose has some physical abuse, but he was young enough that he doesn't really remember it now. Mental/emotional abuse, Karma, Agnar, and Esta, Karma's was still the worst. Verbal abuse, Karma and Esta, and some Agnar as well. Ambrose was never abused really, except from ages three to four, but he quite literally watched his mother get murdered by his father, so I'd say that's a substantial enough amount of family trauma.

Oh, Esta also has religious trauma. And Karma also has sexual trauma. Both from family members :)

So, uh, Karma definitely wins the worst family trauma of my characters, lmao.

Ooo okay, we're counting all abuse they had as children, not just bio parents and we want to count sexual abuse too? Alright! Let me grab the information!

Physical Abuse; Blair, Amel, Salen, and Illon.

Verbal Abuse; Salen, Amel, Eni, and Illon.

Mental Abuse; Salen, Illon, and Eni.

Sexual Abuse; Salen, Illon(minimum), and Blair(minimum).

Emotional Abuse; Illon, Salen, and Blair.

Religious Abuse; Illon, Eni, and Salen.

So it changes a bit if we also count like, non-immediate family and/or non-bio family. Illon and Salen have the most if we include that stuff, hehehe. There's a lot I have not spoken on. At all.

Love it, characters with trauma are the most fun to write, lol. I still have a lot of trauma to unpack for Isa that's related to her former relationship, and I've left out a lot for Agni and Esta as well, lmao.
We both know we can't spoil everything at once! XD

There is so much for Salen I haven't even hinted at yet because she don't even remember it(not due to age like Ambrose, it's a whole ass illusion that she's been doing for years). No worries though, she'll remember all this stuff eventually.

So... My format is going to be like this-

Eni & Salen(getting into the tent)

Amel(the official start of redemption arc! woooo!)

Eni(initiating convo with Salen, plus Ambrose tent thing duh)

Illon(more angst, of course, hopefully end of flashback)

Salen(replay Ambrose tent thing and initiation of convo with Eni, plus the actual convo, will have some Eni at the end there too in order to even that out)

Blair(Agnar and Blair, duh)

I can't wait to see more Salen angst! :D
