So something popped in my head, who watches the children while the adults are locked up?

I was wondering that as well. Children who experience this for the first time must be terrified about the process and being without their parents (assuming they're still awake and haven't fallen asleep)

Y'all over here asking difficult questions I was trying to avoid because I didn't think about it. But ultimately if I had to I could come up with some biological component that the full moon naturally lulls children to sleep on those nights. So they're in bed and asleep by the time the adults are locked up and beginning to shift. Or we could just kind of squint and not look at it too hard right now xD

I saw the sleeping route works for now. XD

I mean considering the children don't shift until puberty, it makes sense for their to be something to protect them and soothe them while this process happens. So all the kids are like gathered in a prepared sleep area or something and I'm assuming the older children would look out for the younger.

Perhaps it's just one of those things that's generally unknown? I mean in most packs they likely have pack members to watch the littles whether be older siblings who aren't shifting yet or humans or something. So something about the moon and their Lycan blood causes the night of the full moon to just be a tranquil night for the youngins? I considered maybe letting one human be among them. Maybe a younger sibling of a Lycan who managed to not be attacked. But I wasn't sure that was realistic if everyone was supposedly slaughtered or turned because how would just the one survive?
