Your drawings are so lovely! Your color choices are always really pleasing to the eye, the expressions are great, and I love the paneling here. Also, it's just a very sweet character moment. I cannot blame Emery for wanting to talk to every ghost they come across, though.

Thanks for the compliments! I'm glad you really like the moment too!! I kinda was just thinking about what Wayne and I talked about and this just gave me the giggles. I was just looking at the image again and now I just realized I forgot two things one of which is driving my OCD crazy and the other just makes me feel bad for forgetting-

Alrighty. This is a bit random but something I am curious about: what is your character's imaginary happy place? Like a mystical garden with glowing giant mushrooms or a library with floating books and fluffy bean bags in a cylindrical room! Use as much detail for their happiest space!!

Xander doesn't have one, but he is a fan of well-lived in homes. A home that's filled with a lot of stuff and cozy feelings and is just as homey as physically posssible.

Petyr's would be his home, but 6 years ago, before his blood-brother was killed. Probably back when he had 10 brothers instead. He was happier, calmer (if you can believe it), when he had a twin. Aspen would be... probably in an Aspen forest? You know, like her namesake. She really likes trees, so maybe her happy place would be a chilly autumn cabin-in-the-woods type deal. Surrounded by books and a fireplace, and as chaotically filled with memories as possible. She likes to look around and see her memories in front of her, because she's always feared forgetting them. Garvin's happy place... Hm... A shared house with friends, probably. Or a shared apartment. To be honest, any shelter is nice in his opinion and friends would just make it better. Garvin doesn't really have a set 'happy place' he thinks of, except for a state of mind he associates with happiness/being happy. Which is whenever he manages to forget his circumstances and all, regardless of how he reaches that. He sometimes likes to think about going back to the old sailor crew, but he doesn't actually plan on doing that and he tends not to dwell on it for too long.

Happy place...hm.
Whenever I think about this question for Michael, my mind brings up a mental image of a quiet forest with beams of golden sunlight shining through the gaps in the trees and leaves. A small stream with clear water trickling through the forest.

For Aspen, it'd just be the crackling fireplace, and the sound of wolves howling in the distance. In Petyr's happy place, it probably sounds like everything's going on all at once, like it always was, and still is. Like home. Constant voices talking (or more accurately, bickering), pots bubbling, ductape being ripped and keys shaking, even the TV on some cop movie. A punch, or a tussle, or some sort of physical debate would be in the background. A random side note, but it would smell like soup, or cultural food, or pasta, because something was always being made, because someone was always hungry. By the way, Petyr adopted a second middle name, and it's Baelish, because he's seen GoT and he's convinced the infamous mockingbird was named after him.

Awwww I am liking these sound and scent ideas a lot and Aspen and Petyr even more! Petyr adopting a new nickname from a show is incredible and I just- I love him. Part of me really wants to write a brief short story for Emery, but I'm not sure if I should do a wholesome memory, a sad memory, or both.
