Yeah, I play and have written around 37 songs, I think? I was tutored for a little while by Jim Brickman, so that's where the song is from. Winter Waltz was actually my first song, so I thought I may as well do something that links me and my character. Lol, yes. The Great Battle of Chocolate-Covered Strawberries.
Cool! I make up songs and I hear them in my head but I never finish writing down the notes. I used to have a teacher, but I quit piano last year. I still play the keys some, but I wasn't enjoying myself then. Right now, I'm teaching myself how to play a couple songs by Ed Sheeran, Lumineers and one by for KING&COUNTRY.
Awesome! I'm guessing you're very likely learning I See Fire by Ed Sheeran, since it's in the credits of the Hobbit.

I actually had some chocolate filled strawberries two days ago. (Yes, filled. I cut off the top part and apparently strawberries are kind of hollow. So I filled them with chocolate syrup in an attempt to make them easier to hold. It was still a mess... But a very tasty one!) |
