I wonder if we could incorporate some plague or apocalypse like vibes to the rp.

Well, a plague killing off a lot of pack members was mentioned.

I think it really depends on how active you are in the discussion how "important" your character(s) will be. I normally like to insert a bear attack at some point, especially if we want wounds and injuries. Also questions we can answer is why are they traveling for a meeting? Are they fighting for leadership, or are they going around making promises and deals trying to look good to hopefully have wolves vote for them and become the next leader, because you know there would be plenty of room for drama if they are running around trying to get votes. Would there be anyone "neutral" trying to oversee all of this?

I will be honest. I'm on a phone so there's a definite probability I missed something. And that seems to be what it was.

I'm not against the plot idea but I think it would be a good idea to throw out more options so we can kind of weigh what we like and don't like about them and piece together an in depth plot we all like and enjoy. I, personally, like to start with a simple base concept and add on details to make it bigger and more dynamic but still holding true to that intial foundation. Are there other ideas anyone might want to throw out or talk about?

Edera said: We could also do something a bit more refined. - Theres two houses (Clans, packs, groups, whatever.) Theres a deep rooted feud between them, an unresolved murder. A beloved cousin of house D had passed due to an indecipherable squabble at some moonlit meeting; a secret rendevouz between two lovers. Some say it was the cousin who was one of the lovers, and others say the cousin simply discovered them. Either way, they had ended up dead. And theres a female of House C who, after being seen suspiciously slinking away the night of the murder, claims that she is expecting the cousins child. Based on the rumors of the cousin either discovering, or being, the two houses are yet to act on it. With that little drama the two houses are conflicted even further when they are brutally picked off by a dangerous plague, leaving the more resilient, younger canids to rule. Finding themselves a bit loopy after such an incident, it is decided. They need leadership, for such fools they were, they were in no place to lead themselves just yet. So they travel, both houses traverse the lengthy journey to a meeting. A special meeting. They arrange for a grander house, House B, to select an assortment of capable rulers for both D and C. - So from there, they travel together, two fueding groups, --they travel to the election in hopes of survival, the continuances of both legacies. Will they make it in peace, or will they succumb to the temptations of anger and fangs.
How are they selecting the third house? Why did they have to travel for a meeting? I'm assuming we're talking about this plot.

Well theres a certain order, all houses have a faint connection with each other, as well as ties. Grand House B has sent some sort of messenger, perhaps the healer to check up on D and C as word of plague has shot out into the public. It is known that both are without capable rulers, and although they aren't typically allies, it wouldn't be all that beneficial for such groups to be destroyed or disbanded so an election is arranged. House B offers an assortment of rules from their line that both D and C must travel to in order to decide and elect. It's sort of in their best interest. And since the healer idea is liked, the House B healer that was sent will accompany them back, showing them the way with ofcourse, all of the shenanigans Edited at November 30, 2021 07:29 AM by Edera

If ya want a simple base then perhaps they could be escorting a special someone of some sort and on the brink of starvation.. I dont know--im leaning a bit far from an already established pack because it's a sort of "meh" topic for me but if theres enough going on besides some sort of enemy intruder then I'm cool with whatever ideas yall throw out. I don't think there should be an established pack either. I think it leaves more room for drama if we have characters that are oblivious after their packs have been wiped by a plague or sickness. That's my opinion anyways. If we have them already in a pack, I'm sure we can come up with other drama as well, but I personally like the idea of the pack being killed off, leaving inexperienced, younger individuals left to figure out how to ensure their pack name and lineage survives.
