The Wingfeather Saga. My other posts of madness also related to the series.
Okay, we are so becoming BFFs. Like seriously, you like Tolkien books, you like writing, you like Wingfeather Saga... Anything else? You also comforted me alot when I was going through a rough time, and you were my first paws-up + commenter.

Argos' advice is very helpful, and tips I wish I knew back when I started RPing years ago.
Nowadays I pull inspiration from everything around me rather than try and make shit up on the spot. It's also rather helpful to give your characters questionare sheets.
They don't have to be anything much, just simple questions like "sweet or spicy?" and "favorite color". Any fun little things you can think of that you would ask a friend. Most of the info won't ever make in into a RP, but it will help you visualize the character better and make it easier to predict their responses to certain situations :) Edited at April 8, 2022 10:41 PM by Ellyllon

We have so much to talk about!! I have just found the Wingfeathers and if you recall, I totally did not include them into last night's...act of normal-ness. When you said that you felt like you remembered it, I started to freak out. Books that are Christian based are more real to me than what others are. I've read Harry Potter and Hunger Games. Excellent books as they are and I admit that I've daydreamed of going to Hogwarts, they haven't made me think that they were real. Wingfeather Saga did and in the acknologments/letter-like-thing at the end of the third book made me stunned and I felt like collapsing.

Windowless and Doorless Room Grace, you're welcome! I hope that it'll aid you well. Ellyllon's tips are excellent as well. Do the questioniors! If you want some random ones, just ask me and I'll happily give you some! They really do help you see your character better and you get to know each other wonderfully. You build more on their backstories, too.

*cries* A person of similar interests! J.K. Rowling, I will say, is an extremely Christian author with good morals and excellent views, but the Wingfeather Saga is just... easier, I guess, to compare to? Also, have you heard Andrew Peterson's music? It's really great!

It's been forever since I have! I remember hearing him when I was younger, but not much recently. I didn't know JK was a Christian, you learn something new everyday!

I never thought hosting an RP would make me so giddy, but sure enough, here I am grinning like an idiot and giggling at everyone's posts.
It's like I have my own little novel writing itself out in front of me! :D
