I was trying to save up apples for a new custom stud to replace Prospect but I think I'm going to make another paw pad gear. Should I do brick pads or mottled pads?

Also, say Neco gets mad and starts to shift, but then stops being mad mid shift. Would he still be shifting until full form or would it stop and revert back to normal?
