Ooo Paradox would definitely be interesting :O I like all of those ideas I dunno if I could pick D:
I'm thinking maybe lower middle-class? Their conditions were bad but could be worse and /definitely/ better, but they made do. I think it would also be a good way as to how the one ended up advising an important person. But being from the bottom and making it to the top is always a nice trope too. That's just what I envision ^^

We could have multiple gods! Some of them could be real, some not? What we have in my friend and I's /book/ world is a guardian angel, and that being the central religion, but with others scattered about, breaking the law of the highly important church officials? Or maybe it's more like the nords? Lots of gods, lots of temples, some more favored than others, tributes paid to certain ones before/after certain events? YEAH. So maybe they weren't dirt-poor millers or farmers who literally couldn't have anything taken from them or they'd be homeless, but maybe they could be smiths? A family of castle servants (which could open to advising)? Knights and/or minor lords who fought for others, even if they hated them (in the name of honor)? They could've been mead-makers or tavern owners? Those ones would probably be fun xD Edited at April 3, 2024 11:25 PM by Ebanon
