The best way to get to round 5 is to hide all your mush and apples in holes then go for it

It's a type of wolf party token. It's only usable once you get to round five, upon reaching round five you get a free wolf from that round

Charons Blessing is an item you buy that is a purple wolf party coin, it was given for free during an event a while back. It allows one free wolf from round 5 of wolf party. Not a bug.

It depends on the items, but I definitely have an easier time getting items that are dropped by enemies

I think both, because some people like to just explore, Some of us are just plain broke and then others just like to continue to buy and buy and buy stuff. It would be a win-win.

I prefer them being dropped by enemies if I had to pick one or the other!
But some items being available in the shop and others exclusively being dropped by enemies is pretty nice :>
