Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Sometimes, what we think is an omen or a magic-related phenomenon is really just nature interacting with us, as nature does lol. It definitly sounds like a moth or small bird, I wouldn't worry about anything.

What would y'all recommend researching for a baby witch?

A lot of things lol. I would start with general history - like, what is witchcraft? What is Wicca? What are the differences between the two? Also digging into other religions - Paganism, Hellenistic practices, etc., can help. I'm not saying that you have to be religious to be a witch, but it kind of helps explain how certain practices got incorperated into the practice - like meditation, crystals, herbology, astrology, etc. Also those terms are fun to research as well. Honestly, there are a lot of places to start, so I reccomend starting with things that initially drew you to the craft. Even if you just found stars/crystals/plants/animals aesthetically pleasing, that can be a good place to start research. Sorry if this is long-winded lol. what are y'all's thoughts on contests? for example, I'm thinking of making a turnip carving contest for Samhain. I'd be the judge and the best turnip carver would get an apple. Yes, an apple. I'm thinking fun, high stakes contests for random, witchy things. But, it's only fun when everyone plays along. The next person to host would have to have equally high rewards for the winner. So, what are y'all's thoughts?
