I think it'd be fun to play a totally oblivious person who doesn't realize that someone has feelings for them. It's too awkward if they know lol.

When I was younger, me and my friend loved to make our little toys have love triangles :) I always played the one that was in love. Honestly, any character I haven't played before always sounds like fun to me. Sometimes I have trouble thinking of new character types to play. I mean, I can add some variation, but the archetypes kind of stay the same for me.

I have a hard time coming up with new characters types as well. Unless I have different bsckstories they merge together

I've thought I might start using a random character generator and just tweaking it. I used to take aspects of characters I liked from books and movies as well, but I feel like I've used up most of those as well.

I should start doing older characters I think. There might be a few tropes there I haven't gotten to try but most roleplays have under 25 years old I have trouble with doing extroverts XD

I do too many older characters :) The other characters tend to relate to them differently - I would reccomend it to you, I think it's a fun way to interact differently than you normally would. I'm always looking for that in my new characters. The problem sometimes is that there's not enough literate RPs to try new characters out on. And by the time I find a new one, I've forgotten what I wanted to try.

Or what I want to try wouldn't fit the role play idea. Maybe I need to make a literate role play where senior citizens go on a journey together XD

That sounds like the most awesome story ever :) I tried to get a RP started about "onconventional heroes," or the character types that people don't often play (such as senior citizens) but I couldn't get it started. I can't get anyone to join a darn RP of mine. I guess I'm more suited to joining pre-existing RPs.

Maybe it'd work with a really small group. I've seen on Pinterest prompt about high-school teachers going on a fantasy adventure because it makes more sense than kids 😂

Writing challenge idea: 1x1 roleplay both make characters and then you play the character the other person wrote
