I kinda hate when a characters only flaws are stubbornness (which is almost never written out in the characters RP responses), and a short temper that, again, never shows? |

yeah I have a few characters that are stubborn *cough* torben *cough* but it shows up big time in the roleplay.
I think the best flaws are extensions of their personality imo, it just makes character wayy more well-rounded |

Then there's the flaws that can stray from pre-existing traits: Passionate/determined - Stubborn. Has a active mind - Has difficulty falling asleep due to their mind not shutting off for the night, and/or is often distracted by their own thoughts. Focused - Subconsciously tunes others out. Competitive - Sore loser. |

I have a stubborn character, but it's only when she feels like it, honestly.
But it's rather easy to play her, because she's modeled after someone I know really well, and I know exactly what their reaction is every time. Is that weird? lmao

I like to think I know how to play stubborn characters, because I'm stubborn myself, heh. I describe stubbornness as digging your heel in the ground not wanting to budge, like a defiant animal. |
