In 1776 the continental congress published the declaration of independance in philadelphia announcing the colonists intent to seperate from england. We Americans have celebrated that day as the start of the revolutionary war and express our patriotism for our country by eating hotdogs, hamburgers, waving the Stars and Stripes, setting off fireworks, and playing our favorite, American tunes. |

Lol, I had to memorize that in middle school and it's branded into my brain. My dog's not found of fireworks. She can handle gunshots and ambulance noises, but fireworks are too much for her. |
