It makes no sense for items to count tiles you've already stepped on because of how the explore levels are generated in the first place. If I use a wreath at the end of a path for one creature and then I have to retrace 10 tiles I've already walked on to get to the next new space.. I've wasted half the item already.

Would be better if i wasnt one of those people with laggy explore olease dont double count the tiles lag makes me step on 🤣

I agree, it's not the best :/ the same thing happens when you burn an offering at a temple and a wolf gets boosted stats for a set number of steps

Oh yeah I completely forgot to pay attention to that bahaha, if I had noticed it said Hunt I would have had my answer xD

It shouldn't work that way, in my opinion. That should be fixed.

Nah that sucks, the items count the already stepped tiles whats the point 💀

You can usually tell the difference by the button on the page. If it says; "hunt" it won't count as an enemy. Enemies have "battle" on the button.

Nope! She counts as prey.

Hey guys does Eve count as a predator in your territory that you have to kill in order to level up?

Sabbath, unfortunately it does count each tile step, even if its one you already been on :/
 Sabbath
08:55:31 Rook
like I thought if you go over tiles you've already been on, the item doesn't count that as a step

Chat I have a question: the explore items that last 'x' amount of steps.. those usually count NEW tiles as steps right? or am I tripping

So this is just a place where science, math, history, whatever, just needs can hang out. Are you a nerd? Cause I'm a nerd.

I'm apparently a cat-murderer-character-obsessed-sobbing-artist-cursive-writer type of nerd.

So Im just gonna kick off discussion with a simple explanation for chemistry nerds.
~
Just some terms if you don't know these already:
Covalent Compounds - When two nonmetals 'share' electrons to become stable.
Valence Electrons - The Outermost Electrons
H2O - The formula for water
~
So basically an elements goal is to become stable like the noble gases. (Neon, Argon, Helium, Krypton etc.)
And to do this they have to merge with other elements. I'm talking about Covalent compounds right now. So this is when two non metals share electrons what do I mean by this?
So basicallicaly to share electrons the molecules of two elements have to merge. The collum which an element is in determines how many valence electrons are in an element. Oxygen is in the sixth column, so it has six valence electrons. It needs eight to become stable, so it needs to merge with two hydrogen molecules. Doing this creates water.
There is a thing called the Lois Structure which helps to visualize
this. So Oxygen with six valence electrons looks a bit like this:
:O:
..
But the two lower dots are higher. And Hydrogen would be liek this: H.
..
so H2O = :O: + H. + H.
and the lewis structure for it is:
.............H
..............|
H2O = :O:
..............|
.............H
(ignore those strings of dots. It's weird without those to hold its place)
~
So yah! That's basically what a covalent compound is, I hope I explained it well.
~
Google the lewis structure of H2O I didn't type it out very well XD
