Character Basics
Name: Venelana Vukodlak
Addressed As: Her Highness, The White Wolf, Mad Queen
Nickname(s): Vanna|Lana|Ana|Ven
Age: 40 Years
Gender: Female [She/Her]
Sexuality: Herosexual
Relationship Type: Monoamory.
Social Status: Royalty
Role: Queen of Everlong
How do they feel about the culture/religion of Everlong?:
Her religion is mostly her world, she believes in the ‘higher power’, at least something which has created all that surrounds her. That being nature, the sacred birds within the sky, the animals which inhabit their lands, the trees which grow from the earth and the beautiful flowers which blossom every spring and summer. She admires the sky which she believes the higher power watches them from, she likes the blue serenity and calming sounds of the birds which sing to them ever so sweetly. She does not believe that her religion is selfish like many of the Exiled seem to believe. She believes that her world is perfect, that she is nothing but perfect. The picturesque view of the world surrounding her is nothing short of perfect to her, she adores her land and culture and her religion. The people on the other hand? She couldn’t care much for them as she does her only daughter and two sons. She believes that her people should follow their culture and any defiance to do so will result in any and all unique punishments befitting of the act they have committed.
Venelana is somewhat blinded to most of the flaws which seep through her culture, as well as her religion in itself. She is mostly blinded by her beliefs and ideals she so desperately tries to follow with not so much as a thought to how it may affect those under her, even her own family. She sees them as another means to creating a new stupid and pointless rule as she goes on in life. The Queendom’s education is something she holds of high value, her culture is her world. She sees her culture as something of a must. The thoughts of any ‘improvements’ as some of her advisors may attempt to express is nothing of her concern. Though a single word about it’s change may cause the woman to truly present her hatred for the topic with bleak mumbles of disagreement and for them to either ‘Shut up’ or to get out of the room or remove themselves from her presence to allow her to think it over in her own time. Venelana thinks the education system is great, and doesn't need much improvement, if any at all. She believes her way of running things is great. Though she values History, reading, writing and social above all else. As she does believe environmental science would make one as intelligent as the before. Though it was one of the valued ideas for education so in all honesty she values it too.
She holds moderating students in high regard, sees it as a must to improve the child's education and if they cannot fulfil their duties. To achieve at least the average score and if not then they are of no use to Everlong any further. Venelana has no issues in ‘getting rid’ of those who stand in her way and the Exiled shall not even think about it. She believes everything about her culture is wonderful and she sees no reason for anyone to ‘prove’ otherwise.

Character Details
Appearance:
Venelana is well known for her extravagance and immense beauty. For her age many notice her beautifully defined features, often wondering how she is still so very beautiful. The Queen has long waist length silver hair, some say she was born with the unique characteristic, others spread rumours of ‘stress’ being the cause. As much as she would often deny the latter. If anything, Venelana actually likes her hair ‘colour’, if anything she finds it to be quite beautiful, she believes it to make her deep crystal blue eyes stand out more.
Her hair is white or silver, something most question upon seeing such a young woman who displays such characteristics. It is not uncommon for such an appearance to happen for some though their hair typically isn’t completely white by the time they are twenty-one. Though she speculated it has more to do with stress than anything else though her genetics are most likely to blame as well. Her hair was once the colour of gold, a characteristic she once admired greatly. The long, wavy curls were something she loved and adored.
Though as the years went on, as the stress and heartache pursued. Her hair began to change and with it any gold which once remained. Her hair is soft, well kept. She prefers to keep her hair clean and to wash it every couple of days. Her hair is waist length, ending at her lower back, long curls starting near the end of her locks.
Her hair is mostly straight though some curls still remain at the strands. Her skin seems awfully pale due to her hair and most likely her genetics too. This may also be due to her blood issues like low circulation, low iron and blood pressure. Though it’s likely just her iron, which would explain her pale complexion.
Vanna keeps her skin well kept, being smooth. Ven stands at 5’8”, pretty tall for most of the females in her family, not many reaching 5’8” at all. Ven is 52kg (115 Pounds), being a bit too skinny for her height though which often concerned her parents. Even if they didn’t seem to care about their children it is still of much concern upon seeing her.
Vanna has an hourglass shaped build, wide hips and slight muscular limbs. Other than that she has a more natural build. Her eyes are blue like the ocean, almost as light as the crystal waters, though they have more of a darker tint to them. Deeper crystal waters she guesses. Venelana has a Slavic accent, slightly deep though feminine in nature. Her tone can be quite soft, making it easy to distinguish who the Queen is judging by her accent and mature way of speaking.
Personality:
Venelana is a complex character, before she lost her mind entirely she was a somewhat happy individual. Sure, life wasn't entirely the best, but she always tried to remain neutral with a positive outlook on life. She strived to be a better version of herself, someone that her younger brother could rely on. Something she had long strived to accomplish - Though that dream had shattered, along with any love she still had for her parents -
For many others to be exact. When her baby brother died she was no longer the kind, somewhat cheerful individual. She was cruel, cunning and unwilling to accept change. She was cold hearted, and hounded anyone who defied her. Exiling them if she had to - She no longer cared for life, only destroying it once others got in her way. She once wondered what had happened to her once kind and joyful self -
What had happened to that little girl raised to be proper and kind. But she pushed that thought aside, buried it deep within her mind and crushed it along with any other feelings she might have bore for anything else. Many find her to be a woman of disturbing nature, she may seem to be illusive, dangerous even -
Exiling her victims without a second thought - Sometimes even seen delighted to the fact, though that couldn't be far from the truth. Venelana has a tendency to lie when it best suits her. Finding it easier than speaking the truth at times. She's a very private person, though that does not mean that she likes to lie. If anything she hates it. It just means that she's a dishonest creature which is something in which she greatly despises to her core.
She seems to hate love - Finds it a façade, just an excuse to get close to others and destroy them. Something only weak people would allow, something cruel people use to their advantage. Something Venelana doesn't allow into the surface any longer. She fears becoming weak - She fears that if she were to 'love' another more heartache will come her way further down the path. This is why she is so distant, prefers to be alone and keep to herself. You may find her wandering alone in the castle halls, keeping to herself. Though she thrives on power - Enjoying what it's like to tell people where to stick it. She likes to make people feel like they can be walked all over. Because she knows she can do it - She’s the Queen, everyone must do as she asks. Follow every rule in her Queendom, listen to every little thing the woman says. Venelana is the authority and in her eyes she is the superior being, almost as if she believed herself to be some form of a God.
She likes making them feel the way she did under her parents' care. She likes to watch them suffer like she had - To see them finally understand what it's like to be the outcast - To be used. In some lights she wonders if her children are the way they are because of her. Somewhere deep down she truly does love her children - Even if it may be difficult for Venelana to actually show it. She has a difficult time showing her emotions. The only real emotion one might encounter is pure seething anger or calmness. But that’s how she is, people seem to hate her for it.
Like her daughter Venelana suffers from bipolar disorder. She is likely to blame herself if she were to ever find out if her daughter suffered the exact same way. Her daughter likely inheriting the illness from her mother - Many people often saw the pair as very similar in personality and if Venelana were to find out her daughter had bipolar she was sure that it were Venelana’s own fault. Venelana developed her illness soon after her younger brother died at infancy. She often suspected her own parents for his death, giving her the delusion that everyone was on her about every little thing in the world.
This gave her the diluted personality that she has today. The female tends to mistreat others because of this, having the tendency to guilt trip like it was no tomorrow. Saying things like ‘Do you have any care for how I may feel??’ or ‘My feelings do not matter, probably never will!’ She constantly manipulates her children and others into doing as she pleases, making them perform various tasks because ‘I am mentally drained.’ or ‘I have had a long day.’ She gives them petty excuses like ‘I am tired.’ and nags until she gets what she wants. She acts like a spoiled brat sometimes and often yells and screams when she doesn’t get what she wants.
She doesn’t necessarily care how her actions may affect others, when she does she still acts as if she were the victim. Often sayong how ‘I had to work so hard to get where I am now. I am tired of constantly being treated as an outcast.’ She feels the need to let someone know when she is not happy with their behaviour, feeling as if her children just don’t care and neglect their duties at times. Which isn’t actually true, but she always ‘needs’ to find a way to pin the blame onto someone else and only wishes to find every reason why they are the problem.
Her outbursts are enough to make any man back away, she seems as if she were a madman, a completely different person when her episodes begin. She becomes extremely religious, to the point where she’s talking about how ‘The Higher Power seeks for your redemption - They can save you - Free you. Do you want to be free??’ Her voice more often than not sounds like she were completely bad shit crazy, voice in high tones and eyes resembling that of googly eyes which roam about with no regard to where they are looking. When she has her episodes she sounds like she is out of breath, her tone dreamy, as if she were in another world.
If someone were to aggravate her while in this state you would likely never see the end of it - She would be persistent, unable to take ‘no’ for an answer, droning on about how ‘You need to listen to me!’. Sometimes speaking in tones which make no sense, if continued she would go ballistic. Likely to smash everything in her line of sight, throw clothes about, scream out profanities and destroy any furniture and glass she can find. She virtually has no thoughts, focused entirely on riding out that anger until she can no longer feel it within her anymore. The adrenaline is so high that she’s almost gasping for breath. She might even start to cry, displaying any religious figure in the most random places imaginable. Her tears are likely to overflow to the point she cannot see.
She longs for that freedom in that moment, wishing to hold onto someone until she can hold her tears in no longer, but the constant reminder that no one is there makes it harder for her to breathe and hold onto that lifeline she is just barely holding onto. After a while that anger would evaporate, any further distress gone after some hours of fighting with herself.
It is often hard to hide these thoughts and feelings from the world. To keep her composure enough to even act like everything is alright. That her family doesn’t hate and her country doesn’t wish to get rid of her at any moment. But eventually she does, she would slowly become calm again. It may take her some time, sometimes it may take her months to truly feel like she’s in the right mindset. But when she does she feels complete and ready to take on the world around her.
Of course, she isn’t that stupid - If anything she understands how flawed her culture truly is. But does she even care?? No. Not in the slightest. All she really cares about is whether or not it benefits her. Maybe her children too if she were in the right frame of mind. Vanna is typically the one to decide what is ‘best’ for those below her station, a thought which often proceeds to follow her every waking moment. She can be wise at times. That much she is aware of - but the problem is, Vanna refuses to use it when it comes to those she sees as below value. She is typically seen mulling over things in her head -
Understanding things that some others may not believe her to understand, nor care to see. But she truly does care about some things, her children being a big part of that. Sometimes it may seem as though she does not care for them, acting as if they are lesser than scraps for the hounds to lick up. But it isn’t necessarily her fault for she isn’t actually well mentally. They call her the ‘Mad Queen’ because of the way she behaves around the exiled, the imperfect(s). She treats them as though they are the shit to scrape off beneath her shoes.
Some have spread rumours about her episodes, the ‘madness’ they have ‘witnessed’ some nights when the moon was at its highest or once the sun beat brutally on the backs of her subjects. She acts as if she were a madman, discarding those she doesn’t see as those who have the right to walk upon her glorious castle grounds - Let alone her streets and towns. They call her ‘The White Wolf’ because of her long, flowing silver-white hair and the outbursts one might witness upon banishing her subjects. The brutality and hatred in her voice once she gazes upon the exiled.
Strengths:
One of Venelana’s greatest strengths is actually her ability to rule with an iron fist. (Of course that’s not actually a good thing. Though to her, yeah.) She has great strength in her ability to keep her Queendom moving well enough. She works hard to achieve her goals, as well as what she believes would benefit her nation. Overall she tries, just not in the way that some mamy wish she does.
Weaknesses:
Venelana for the life of her cannot stand human contact or any form of contact at all when it comes to affection. She fears it and greatly dislikes this fact. Some other weaknesses of hers that she wishes that she did not have was her bipolar. One thing she would rather hide so no one were to find out about this fact as she sees it as an act of weakness and something she cannot logically control on her own without some form of medication which they do not possess. Though of course with some verbal assistance in some aspects it does help sometimes, as well as some lifestyle changes, but it is much harder. Topics in regards to her children's hatred breaks her heart. Knowing that her own children hate and do not love her is one of her biggest triggers in terms of either her anger or sadness. Avoid this topic at all costs.
Likes:
✓ Venelana once loved animals, holding them dear to her heart - of course she sometimes likes to see them again and hides the fact that she still cares for them. Though she doesn't wish to seem weak or someone to see this vulnerability so she tries her best to hide this fact.
✓ Venelana likes to read, finding it a great stress reliever, she tends to read a lot which keeps her mind at ease most days. She keeps books close to her because of this.
✓ She prefers to be alone, though she doesn't mind the company sometimes or every once in a while as it can be of comfort sometimes though she would prefer to keep as far away from people on her most emotionally sensitive days.
Dislikes:
✗ Venelana dislikes dishonesty, finding it a hindrance to her psyche. She finds dishonest people a waste of time, and prefers to stay away from them. Though she does see that lying can be a better way to keep unwanted visitors away. But when it comes to her subjects? ‘No’, she doesn’t like it in the slightest. She hates liars, even if it is better for her wellbeing, she would still prefer the truth.
✗ One other thing that Ven greatly despises are those who defy her. Ones who cannot listen to her every beck and call are useless and are as good as exiled.
✗ Venelana hates love, cannot stand it. Do not think that she will hold any feelings of affection for you as that is likely false. It is best to avoid any topics of love as she despises it. But somewhere in her heart she deeply loves her children, even if they do not love and care for her too. The thought breaks her heart, but she tries to live with it.
Fears:
Venelana fears her weaknesses, especially showing it to others - Them knowing her weaknesses and taking advantage of those soft spots causes her to freeze in place, to do anything for them not to know. If she were crazy enough their death would soon sephise if it meant that they had no idea what made her weak.
She fears that her children may never love her like she would have hoped - Afterall, they are still her children, she will love them every bit as much as she did the moment she realised she was pregnant with each of them. Seeing as how she had affected her own children, if ever found out of her daughter's illness she would feel as every bit to blame as she does now. Just because she is a bad Queen it does not mean she doesn’t love her children or love her children any less then she did when she gave birth to them.
She fears that her monarchy may fall to ruins someday if she doesn't work on her self esteem and illness. She cannot control her feelings and illness most of the time and is scared because of that Everlong will suffer drastically. She truly does care for what may happen to her nation, just not as much as she should.

Character Health
Mental health/disabilities:
Venelana suffers from Bipolar, she had first gaining symptoms once her baby brother, Ivan had passed away unexpectedly. (She was 10 at the time of his death.) This caused her mental health to have a large downwards spiral, shutting herself away for weeks at a time until gradually she just wasn’t herself anymore.
