Thoughts on the Trails:
In Astraea's eyes, the trails how proven to be more important in the aspect of tribal traditions in the way that they may prove the worthiness of the younger generations. While they are traditional, Astraea does not see them to be completely necessary. The apprentices are more likely to be injured, or even killed in the process of the completing trails and that is not something Astraea can seem to welcome when the time comes to watch the event take place. A simple way to put it; If the Trails weren't as danger-seeking, it would be more acceptable to the woman. As far as how they are currently, Astraea respects the Trails enough not to try and stop them.

Astraea's bodily structure is one of the aspects that she is most proud of.
The woman has the body of a goddess without a doubt. Standing at 5'6" feet tall, she is quite short in stature for a woman of her age. While a lady should never have to tell her weight, she weighs roughly 125 pounds. Do not let her size be mistaken for weakness though, she is the exact opposite of weak. Astraea has a slimmer hourglass shaped body, with more squared shoulders that go down to an impressively sized bossom and narrowing into a fairly snatched waist. Her waist the widens out into larger hips, childbearing hips someone may say, but these give her the overall hourglass look. Astraea's legs are long and well musculed, her thighs are thicker than her calves, but both are equally as strong. Her arms are toned with lean muscles as well, her biceps being proportionate to her shoulder and not appearing bulky. Astraea's hand are something that she has worked hard to maintain, her long fingers and thinner wrists give her a willowy and graceful look while she is working. Her hands joints are smaller and her nails are kept somewhat long and always kept clean, she makes sure of that. The abdominal portion of Astraea's body is lightly tones with faint abs, you wouldn't even guess she has had children in the past. Her overall body is made for long hikes or racing through the woods, while she does has the physical strength built into her, agility and speed is more of what he body was made for.
This woman's face is one of her most striking features. With a heart shaped facial structure, Astraea has soft and plump cheeks, and a shorted face overall. Her neck can be described as swan-like, being long and elegant. Her chin is narrowed into a subtle point that goes nicely with her semi high cheekbones and her well pronounced jawline. Her jaw isn't sharp and cratered, but really quite even all around. Astraea has a smaller button nose with a slimmer bridge that reaches up just under her brows. This woman's lips are formed in a perfect cupids bow, with a larger bottom than upper lips and with those two distinct arches on the top one. The are naturally a darker nude color, and she doesn't usually like to put a lot of makeup on, except for maybe big events but she doesn't like wearing things to cover up her natural beauty. Astraea has a very light tanned skintone and fairly clear skin, she does has a few small moles that litter her body, bone none on her face. Acne is something she's seemed to get away from, giving her skin a glowing appearance. Her eyes are big and doe-like most of the time, with thick, long and dark lashes. Astraea has also mastered the skill of moving them to look either almond or give them a thinner, seductive siren-shaped appearance. Their color is one of the aspects of her face that may have you looking back a second time, they are an icy blue with a light to dark grey around her circular pupil. Her brows are thick and dark brown in color, often appearing black, the has a rounded arch are are well-maintained and trimmed most of the time. As far as Astraea's tribal markings, go, they are a traditional black and arch painted on her forehead. The appear as a grown of branches, two black dots are placed in the middle and a simple eye shape is placed at the top. Astraea has small ears that almost always have piercings in them, usually a feather or parts of pretty bones that have been made into this jewelry.
Astraea's has absolutely gorgeous hair. Her hair is naturally very thick and weavy, so its surprising when she wears it down most of the time, how doesn't she get hot? Her hair falls to about to hips in waves that could be described as loose curls. Her hair is like a fountain of the midnight sky, a beautiful shiny black color that falls down her back like a waterfall. Astraea's hair is definitely hard to maintain and calm down, so she really just doesn't bother doing so. Aside from brushing it and using oils on it, she lets her mane of hair do whatever it wants. She has messy curtain bangs that fall over the sides of her face, covering her ears most of the time unless she tucks it back. When she sleep, she keeps her hair in a loose braid, which helps shape the otherwise wild hair in the morning.
The woman's voice is that of an angel. She has a deeper feminine voice that comes out in a tone of gentleness yet gives off something regal. Astraea is careful not to raise her voice unless she isn't being heard, but sometimes frustration takes over and her tone might sharpen or turn scolding. Astraea has a beautiful singing voice, a higher sound that only compliments her further. She will often be heard humming while at work, or to herself when she is getting ready for either an event or bed.
Astraea wears only the finest of silks, usually long dresses that hug her curves nicely and compliment her other factors. She doesn't like wearing heels so she will usually wear sandals that are white or a light sandy color. Her neck is adorned with necklaces of pearls and circular shaped bones. Astraea will usually only wear white, as it gives her a sense of elegance and gracefulness, but if she is to wear something different for an event of some sort, she will.

Personality:
Opinionated - It won't take long after meeting Astraea that you discover just how highly she values her own opinion. When this woman has something to say about a topic, she will not be afraid to speak up whatsoever. She doesn't give a flying fuck about what others think about her, which, in a sense, can be quite respectable at times. She's not quiet when it comes to her feelings about something or someone and will say it how she sees it. Yes, it may come off as blunt, but that's exactly how she means it to be. She can't stand smalltalk and will get straight into the conversation, whatever it may be about.
Independent - She is not some damsel in distress. She isn't dependent on others. She can take care of herself just fine. This is what Astraea tells herself, and she wouldn't be wrong. Actually, everything that was just stated is absolutely and a hundred percent correct. The only thing she doesn't like to tell herself is that she depends on herself far to much for her own good. The woman doesn't know how to ask for help for the life of her. To her its either she figures out how to deal with the problem or she doesn't live up to be the person she's always told herself to be. And that would absolutely ruin her.
Stubborn - Incredibly so. To put it simply, the woman doesn't do what she doesn't want to. She won't be forced to say anything she doesn't agree to. And she won't go along with already made decisions that she doesn't agree with. This can make her quite difficult to like sometimes and it can get aggravating quickly. Astraea will put up a fight if she is told to do something other than what she wants to. And her words can be as sharp as a knife if said the right way. Her stubbornness can strain relationships, and yes, it might have gotten bad enough to be a somewhat toxic trait of hers, but she personally can't help it. Or she says that at least.
Flirtatious/Seductive - All of the above being said... Astraea does like to pretend she's a helpless damsel at times. Especially when it comes to getting what she wants, its comes by as easy for her to whisper a flirty comment or make a suggestive gesture in the direction of something or someone she wants. She can be very persuasive when she wants to. Astraea will often pull the common but effective bambi eyes, but she'd never beg. She's never that desperate to get something.
Confident - With decisions and herself that is. Astraea always makes sure to run things over in her head before speaking them out with a certain undeterred confidence. She knows she's pretty and the aura of confidence she holds close to her just enhances that beauty. She may come off as slightly cocky or arrogant when first met, but that soon fades after you learn a but more about her. And her overall social butterfly personality makes you want dive deeper into knowing her. And she is loves to talk so how lucky to you.
Maternal/Caring - Astraea is the epitome is a motherly figure. This aspect of her goes to literally everyone in the tribe. The woman will be there when you need her and stay by your side if you are sick. She'd much rather hang around the children or even the apprentices of the tribe. Astraea doesn't have a mean bone in her body when it comes to how she cares for others. She is soft spoken when speaking with the littles, being stern isn't something she likes to be when around them, but sometimes its necessary. Just like every parent should know, children can't always get what they want. She will protect those she cares for with her life without having to think twice. The more caring she becomes of you the more protective she becomes as well.
Mediating - Its always been a gift of Astraea's to be able to calm another down with just a few soft and reassuring words. Adding onto the aura of confidence she brings with her everywhere, there is a gentle and graceful presence around her as well. Astraea's knowledge in calming others down and resolving conflict usually means there are usually a couple different tribe members coming up to her once in a while to fix something between them and another or help that tribe member in another way. It is a highly respectable trait and the patience that has to be brought along with it is just as respectable.
Reliable - If there was someone you could feel you trusted enough to tell whatever burden was on your chest without receiving judgement, it would have to be Astraea. It is not uncommon to feel a pull to trust this woman while speaking with her, she gives off a feeling of safety and trustworthiness. You could tell her your darkest secret and she wouldn't tell a soul. But then of course, there are boundaries when it comes to just how dark your secrets are. If they are dark enough to make Astraea worry for the safety of a member of the tribe or the tribe in general, then she may just have to tell her beloved.
Loyal - Until the end. There are no faults that are to happen or even exist if Astraea places her loyalty and trust onto you. The few individuals she is loyal to include herself, her love, and her other family members. That is all. Loyalty is not something to be throw out for the taking. And Astraea has learnt be be smart with who she places it on. They will be the ones she follows when a decision is made and she will follow their lead if it means leaving others she cares for behind.
Observant - While Astraea isn't usually the quietest individual, she knows when to be. When to watch and listen instead of give imput. Its far more useful in future reference to simply let someone talk on and on and quietly listen to what their saying while nodding once in a while. That way, you are more knowledgeable about whatever they were speaking about later- it is a smart way to have the upper hand in some cases. You know everything then.
Strategic - Astraea is quite the problem solver and enjoys a good riddle or puzzle time to time. She likes how it turns the wheel in her brain and its even better if its a hard thing to figure out over an extended period of time. If planning something, Astraea will lay out different things they might be able to do in that situation with ease. Most of her ideas are well thought out throughout a period of time to make sure they are the best she can come up with to help the situation at hand.

Like his brother, if something were to happen that involved the two of them reaching safety with someone else being the sacrifice? Astraea would make sure they get to safety and leave her as the sacrifice in a heartbeat. Kethryll'ia will always have a special place in her heart... But it seems at the current moment, she has to take her mates side when it comes to their youngest. This is causing both of their relationships with eachother to start to strain. He is a lot like her in some way, both are stubborn and confident individuals- which is why they may argue from time to time. It never gets to the point in which it is considered unhealthy, but rather what you would expect from a mother and son. Elariel Quercus // Brother // These two have always been close, but not as much so when they were younger. Astraea was quite childish and never really lived up to the role mentally or emotionally as the older sibling of the two. Causing El to have to somewhat step up in that role. The older they've gotten though, and the more Astraea has taken her role of the Chiefs Mate seriously, the closer they have grown. She will always care deeply when it comes to her younger brother, and she would do anything to ensure his safety if it came to it.
