WIP. Mainly getting out for plotting purposes. :p

Credit to windfuchs on DA for Images

Name:

Hrǿríkr

From Old Norse Hróðr meaning “Praise, Fame, Glory” and Ríkr meaning “Ruler, King”

Age:

11 Years

Gender:

Male

Pack Or Group Or Neither:

Everfree

Your Reputation:

In the eyes of the pack, Hrǿríkr was nothing short of an outstanding leader. Though not always as present as his mate, he always held an air of power that could be intimidating to some. Leading during the most hectic of times appeared to be his forte to the naked eye – his ability to come up with plans on the fly and during the most contentious of situations being front and center. Hesitation was never a word in his vocabulary, running head first into anything while thinking along the way. This allowed for the pack to easily adjust to most larger changes rather easily without much disruption. On a more personal level, he treated most of his subordinates with care and generosity. Compliments, praises, tips, and more were all spared for those he deemed worthy of them. His days were often spent training and appraising the current apprentices of the pack, pleased to watch the future of his pack become capable warriors, sentinels, and hunters. To this day, he remains beloved by most of the pack, excluding those that he found major fault in.

In the eyes of his pups, however, he was a completely different wolf. They saw the fiend behind the mask – the true darkness of his heart, only out to bolster up himself. He led them via fear or the desire for praise, with just one of them ever truly receiving it. He dictated everything in their lives that he could, from what they trained in to who they loved. Their main usage, in his eyes, was to preserve his grand image and nearly-perfect bloodline. The only one of his offspring to ever see some semblance of his soft side and some lenience was Sikúnguaĸ – the perfect son. The one he purposely trained to take his place, not that anyone knows. The rest were nothing more than disgraces in his mind for a variety of reasons. Pawns at his disposal that he could lead through fear or false promises to achieve his goals.

Rank:

Previously: Former Lord

Present: Elder

Desired Rank:

Content, and he’s hoping to stick around for some time.

Thoughts On The New Leadership:

Well of course Sikúnguaĸ was the best choice imaginable. He was trained from birth to take the throne. Not that anyone truly knows that, of course. The wintery male has proven to be a capable leader, just as he knew he would turn out to be. There’s no doubt that his skills will rival his own, if not replicate them completely. He is the son he always wanted.

Just How Loyal Are You?:

Extremely. 100/10. It was his choice, after all.

Thoughts On This Rouge Group / The Pack:

A disgusting plague upon their land. A nuisance to be eradicated and made an example of. They dare try and take the land he and his mate carved out? Hmph! He’ll have to advise Sikúnguaĸ on this. Such actions cannot be allowed to slide, even for a second.

Appearance:

{Body}

{Colors}

{Scars}

{Voice}

To Detail

34 inches

146 pounds (does not look it)

Muscular, but difficult to tell due his thick coat

Definitely has toned down due to age, but is nothing to scoff at

Posture is now a bit hunched over, but makes him appear to be prowling at times

Stride is slow and methodical

Carries a limp in the front which worsens on colder days (an older wound)

Main reason he stepped down, besides wanting to see his some in power

A bit stiffer in the mornings than he once was

~~

Pure white, as simple as that

A wintery individual, with a heart as cold as he appears

Coat deviates very little from his prescribed coloration, with one some creamy highlights around the top of his snout, paws (from constantly getting dirty), and small patches on the front of his front legs

Many long, black whiskers protrude from his face – mainly on the sides of his snout, but some smaller ones along his lower jaw

Black nose that only changes color with scarring (which is present)

Dark brown eyes with a hint of fiery amber within

Difficult to hold his gaze, despite them not being a necessarily cutting hue

He will only relent someone his gaze if he deems it appropriate (which is typically done during acting)

~~

Good amount of scarring

Constantly thrust himself into battle when younger

Slash across left side of throat from the antlers of a young bull elk

Small bite mark on nose from skunk

Larger bite mark long back left leg from cougar

Many nicks on both of his ears

Claw marks on front right leg from bear attack

Causes his limp and is the reason behind his retirement (beside age)

~~

Commanding voice

Hard to ignore

Deeper pitch, but leaning to the medium side

Tone depends on present companions and situation

Confident is the most common tone

Strict and angered when around his pups

Sickly sweet around general pack members, but is hard to pick up on

Soft only towards his mate

Personality:

Strict || Commanding || Intimidating Aura || Some Narcissistic Tendencies || Selfish || Actor || Eloquent || Unassuming || Prideful || Intelligent || Strategic || Experienced || Willing To Make Sacrifices || Manipulative || High Standards || “Patient” || Knows How To Sugarcoat His Words

“Why, what a mighty fine job you’ve done. You’ve served your pack well.”

“Did I permit you to do such a thing,” he snarls, taking a step forward, “Because recall forbidding it!”

Likes:

♡ Control

♡ Power

♡ Everything Going His Way

♡ Manipulating

♡ Training Apprentices

Dislikes:

- Challengers To His Son’s Rule

- Those Who Oppose His Choice

- Traitors

- Weaklings

- Other Packs

Strengths:

+ Knows How To Play The Part

+ Experience

+ Manipulation Via Acting

+ Physical Strength

+ Intimidating Aura

Weaknesses:

- His Front Left Leg

- Old Age

- Rules By Fear

- Stamina (Has Decreased With Time)

- His Relationship With Most His Pups

Mate:

Iŋgá – The apple of his eye and the one wolf he could ever see as in par to himself.

Offspring:

Sikúnguaĸ – The perfect son. A wolf much like him. He could even consider him an improvement upon himself, if he were to go that far. Then again, few are superior to old Hrǿríkr. The only fault he can pick out from his many perfections is his affinity for his friend and family. But, he can work with that.

Rǫgnvaldr – If it wasn’t clear from the get-go that he could never be the next leader, then his stubborn and rebellious behavior was a sure sign of his incapability to lead. His conflicting views and refusal to take on a much more promising mate turned Hrǿríkr from allowing him to take any higher role within the pack. He was never meant to lead

Arnviðr – A decent son that knows better than to tread on his paws. Easy to control, as well. Most certainly a good pawn to have around.

Eyvǫr – Tsk. A stain to his impeccable bloodline. He had no use for her, except correcting what she had already tainted. Good riddance.

Familial Relationships / Kin:

Open

Affiliations:

Arianwyn – A weak wolf that he held much disdain for. Her choice to become a healer after already being a warrior disgusts him. What’s even worse is that she took interest in that one son of his! She deserved nothing short of a banishment in his eyes. Thankfully, it seems she’s done that job for him.

Drathellos – His favorite little pawn. A undeniably loyal one too. He’d be his bidding within a wave a paw. Shame that his daughter couldn’t settle for him. Would have been a worthwhile pairing.

Open

Other:

- During his rein, Hrǿríkr did his best to ensure that the physically weaker wolves got only the most mediocre of tasks. In his eyes, they were expendable pawns whose only use was doing the tasks of what other packs would consider to be an “omegas.”

Wanna know what I read and then completely forgot about in my previous form? A wolf fact! So I’ll make up for it in two here.

1) Did you know that it is more likely to find a male dispersal wolf than a female dispersal wolf?

2) Black coats in wolves are actually dominant traits while gray coats are recessive! Gray coats being literally any coat that is not considered to be black, which includes the brown coats.

⇒Personality⇐

A fearless, powerful fighter, Akuma loves to see fear taint the irises of his enemies' eyes. He is a ferocious, aggressive canine who has no qualms asserting himself through bloodshed and even enjoys doing so. Challenge him, and you will be put in your place. Akuma is large and in charge, with a dominant air about him that creates a rather intimidating persona. He hates being ordered around about as much as he hates the weak and stupid, and he is most certainly not a follower. Akuma believes that this world has the strong and the weak. The strong serve a purpose, whereas the weak are destined to be culled.

Akuma is a rather gruff, unfriendly creature. He prefers to keep to himself and most certainly isn’t one for small talk, not that anyone would mind. After all, who would want to hold a conversation with a wolf who is grumpy, cynical, and overall negative? He is a harsh realist and believes that no one can be trusted in the world they live in. Trust is a fickle thing, and he would rather not risk his skin for others. His glass is always half empty, and he would like to keep it that way. At least then, his expectations of others are not so high that he can be disappointed, because others always disappoint him.

Akuma may be overall unappealing, but if one can get past his prickly exterior, they will find an extremely loyal wolf. He is a protector who would move mountains for those that he cares about. Perhaps he is quiet, but he is also rather socially awkward and finds great difficulty expressing himself. Due to his brutal nature and distrustful outlook on life, he has not learned how to rely on others, which leaves him alone when he is grappling with life’s challenges. Akuma may be a wolf of many flaws, but still, he is a steadfast, dependable companion for those who will have him. If anyone takes time to look past his brutal nature and distrustful outlook on life, they will find a wolf that has has a caring soul and a deeply devoted heart.

Name:
Filia
Age:
4 years old
Gender:
Female
Pack Or Group Or Neither:
Everfree pack
Your Reputaion:
Filia is known as a rather light-hearted, extroverted wolf. She is easily approachable, even if she is overly friendly towards others at times.
Rank:
Subordinate
Desired Rank:
A hunter would do her just fine. She wouldn't reject second or third in command however.
Why Do You Deserve This Rank?
Filia's biggest strength is her stealth and hunting skills. Why not go into a role that would make the most use of these? She also feels fairly confident that she could be of use with organising the other pack members in a higher role.
Thoughts On The New Leadership:
Filia honestly hasn't got any objections so far. She trusts the choice of the previous alphas. She will however object if the rogues aren't dealt with soon enough.
Just How Loyal Are You?
Filia considers herself very loyal to her pack. She's lived there for years after all. It's her home. She'd never do something that would hurt them.
Thoughts On This Rouge Group:
First thoughts? Confusion. Why not choose some other area? There's plenty more land further away from their territory. It'd be safer too.
Now, frustration. In her opinion they should have left by now. The territory hasn't enough to support the two groups.
Appearance:
Filia stands at a steady 26 inches tall to her shoulder with a weight of 80 pounds. Her undercoat is a reddish color with darker patches interlaced throughout her fur that near a black shade. One of these markings extends across half of her tail.
-
Filia has a long, sharp muzzle with a dark grey nose at the tip. The red fades into a white color for the underside of her muzzle and center of her chest. She has pointed ears with white insides. Her eyes are a forest green in color.
-
Filia has short, ankle length socks on her front two paws with longer socks on her back paws that extend across the front of her legs. She has a slightly muscular structure.
Personality:
| Extroverted | Easy-going | Compassionate | Playful |
-
Filia is the type of wolf to be friends with all and very close to few. She enjoys chatting with her fellow pack members on a casual patrol or coming up with plans to catch a deer from a nearby herd.
-
Filia is rather playful, tending to tell jokes to the other wolves or sometimes entertaining the pups by pretending to be a deer or intruder. She's noticed how this helps the mothers out. This is also where her love for the pups of the pack came from.
-
Filia always has an open ear and mind. If another wolf is feeling down, she's ready to try and help them out. This is one quality she prides herself for, always valuing other wolves who show sympathy and who are ready to listen to new ideas.
Likes:
+ Sunny days
+ The stars at night
+ Relaxing with her pack
+ Pups
Dislikes:
- Danger
- Dishonesty
- Vainness
Strengths:
+ Stealth - Filia's fur allows her to blend into the forest.
+ Hunting - Filia has very light paw steps, making it hard for the prey to hear her coming.
+ Swimming - Strangely enough, Filia does quite well in the water. She found this out as a juvenile by falling into a lake.
Weaknesses:
- Brute force - Filia isn't the largest or most muscular wolf around.
- A bit too kind - She can't resist helping others, even if it seems to be a trap.
- Aimless - Filia hasn't really got any specific goals currently in her life.
Mate:
Open!
Offspring:
None. She'd like some in the future, however.
Familial Relationships / Kin:
Open! Pm me.
Affiliations:
Open! Pm me.
Other:
I feel like 10 chickens is the most anybody can handle.
Fun fact! Wolves can hear up to six miles away in a forest!
Sorry for taking so long with this

Name:

Kahlia

"Keeper Of Keys" in Hawaiian

Age:

2 years old

Gender:

Female

Pack or Group:

Everfree

Pack Reputation:

A sweet and respectful female that is a pleasure to be around. She works her tail off to keep everyone in their greatest health. She does keep a social butterfly persona to be on good terms with everyone that is around her. She is a mother to everyone and will give advice to anyone who needs. She rather save a life then destroy.. But don't take her as a chicken she will fight if she has to.

Rank:

Former Rank: Pack Healer Apprentice

Rank: Apprentice

Desired Rank:

Pack Healer

Why deserve of this rank:

Kahlia has been trained most of her apprenticeship to become a pack healer. Ever since the pack shift to a new leader and her mentor vansihing. Her entire work and self identity has slowly been fading. She almost completed everything that she need to know, but she misses her mentor through this tough struggle on her own. She also tried to the best of ability to help heal sick/injured wolves with no pack healer as she had the knowledge.

Thoughts on New Leadership?:

It maybe right or wrong. She has realized that the former alpha favored his children and caused division in the pack at fairly young age. Instead of following her mentor, she stayed behind hoping to keep everyone alive.

Loyalty:

6/10

Thoughts on The Rouge Pack?

She knows what she is told that they are vagabonds and well a nuisance that is invading their territory. Though she has her own suspicions who they truly are and a some type of familiar aspect about them. Though she rather be solved in peace in some sort of way instead a bloodshed battle.

Appearance:

A cleanly kept pelt of light grey flowed in the wind, the pattern of a husky, but the colors dulled until they were nothing but very light grey and starch white. Though she is no husky and very much a well kept she wolf. Her fur being sleek and shiny that curls at the ends do to humidty in the caves. The contrast of the piercing sky blue that were her eyes was unimaginable. The tall, lean frame revealed toned muscles which derived from hours of gathering herbs. Her frame reaching about 27 inches tall and weighing about 100 pounds at flat. Her long wispy tail was seen as graceful and of high quality. her ears, while soft, were not perfect her right ear features a nick from getting punished for mixing herbs. but nevertheless, she stands tall and graceful, calm minded. It is often said that her beauty is hiding something more, that her kind loving eyes hide a certain sadness behind them. She has nasty scar from an attack that happened with a packmate due to a sad death that she could do nothing about. It is across her left side of her face. It starts from behind her ear and down to her muzzle. A large claw mark to remind her of a tragedy that she faced that broke her in two.

Her aroma can come off strong and devouring as her days spending gathering herbs have mixed in to her pelt. She has her aroma more overpowered with rosemary and mint as it has more strength of fragance than others. But she will dabble with other herbs that can give her a more overpowering stench of peace and relaxing scents that could make a wolf fall in love under her smell. Though she keeps herself trying to smell more relaxing and clean, it can also mix when her job is at her highest with blood, death, or an illness. Though she is very quick to try to get rid of the nasty stench that plagues everyone's surroundings.

Her voice is warm and soft. Very much like butter that warms up your soul. She has a way with words to make everyone feel queasy and happy inside. She has a way with others to feel more relaxed and calm when she is speaking due to how her calmness and gentle voice. Though when she is angry or upset it is very low and edgy because uncommon for her voice to be not beautiful and enchanting to others around her.

She has been known to have flowers into her coat to help soothe her skin with her high skin sensitivity with the heat of her den.

)need a better a reference my avatar is her)

Personality:

This she wolf is a level-headed and polite mannered to everyone. She is very remotely to laidback and chill with everything, but her job. She takes her role of the pack seriously and not a joke to anyone. Her work ethic is not for her own personal gain, but the pack's. Her life is obligated to be the protector of everyone's life. Kahlia is a patient, but stern she wolf with her patients as she doesn't like for mistakes or problems in the future. Though she does not tolerate with foolishness and horse play when it is needed.

She is intellingent and wellspoken around her peers and young folk to show her respectful nature. Her demeanor is often relaxed and calm even if she is angry in the inside. Kahlia is knowledgeable and advice giver as she knows in this pack someone needs to have shoulder to cry on. Her trustworthy and loyalty is unmatched with her ability to die for what she is needed to do. She is a motherly to everyone as her job has permitted to have her own. Kahlia is a social butterfly to get to know everyone on a friendly basis. She does have no real mean bone in her body, maybe like 6 mean bones.. She is very insightful and empathetic she wolf that easily bonds with others,

Her loving nature is what makes her a great pack healer and her selfless actions. Though she may be a cool and collected, but she can be a little judgemental. Though she has to be in her job and has to be observant and resilient to be make her job better than it is. She also can be very flustered if a male flirts or tries to impress her as she knows her duty is not be swayed and well she is a workaholic. She usually stays nice and finds an excuse to leave immediately.

Though Kahlia is a sweetheart and loving nature in the pack that no one usually messes with her. She is very well liked or atleast respected. Kahlia often is a social butterfly and is needed and busy all the time. She does find having a little alone time to keep her sane and atleast happy. She is known for her happiness and overall motherly aura, but is it really what she is or portraying for others. A she wolf that makes others happy, but is lonely in the inside.

Name:

Talon

Age:

5 years

Gender:

Male

Pack or Group or Neither:

The Everfree Pack

Your Reputation:

A very dedicated creature, Talon is a wolf loyal to the pack and to his leaders, working hard to keep the territory and pack safe, he is a worker who is seen on his paws more than at rest. More of an aloof personality, he prefers to be on the outskirts of the pack rather than in the thick of the group, keeping an eye out for potiental dangers even when at rest. A colder, serious type of creature, smiles and laughter is uncommon for him, making him seem a more unapproachable wolf in a manner that only adds to the intimidation factor. But all in all, an exellent packmate to have by your side.

Rank:

Subordinate

Desired Rank:

He's not picky, perhaps a Warrior or Night Watcher, or heck, if he lets himself think about it, Third in Command perhaps.

Why Do You Deserve This Rank:

wip

whoops, reputation got mixed up with this one.

Thoughts on the New Leadership:

While initially doubtful of the new leader, the manner in which he has handled the pack throughout the autumn and the previous part of winter has thoroughly swayed Talon to the new Lord. He is happy to be led by such a wolf, and he will continue to serve him and his future mate with all the loyalty that Talon possesses.

Appearance:

(Credits to Khalliysgraphy on Deviantart for both pictures)

Like smoke flowing down the mountainous slopes that are so perilous to those who do not know where to step, Talon slips from the grayscale corners of the territory to the verdant growth that flourishes in the warmer months of the year, he slinks underneath the towering trees that compose the Forest of Ëoe in the coolness of the shade and he balances upon a rock to survey the tumultuous River and the dangerous Rapids.

As a result of Talon's seemingly everlasting endeavors to keep the lands of his pack secure from invaders and straying paws that should not be within claimed territory, the pelt of this wolf, scarcely fluffy and rather muted in comparison to the richer colors that can be found on the coats of his packmates, is not as well-kept as it could be. Admittedly, as dense as the fur is with the majority of the hairs lacking the flowing length that is characteristic to some, snarls of tangles and tightly woven matted fur is not as evident as it could be, but there is a definite unkeptness that can be found when he has not taken the time to groom himself properly, a luxury that he often does not indulge in.

The beauty of Talon's pelt is not found in rich orange and coppers like the dawning sun that paints the blackness and pale blue of the sky with fire, nor is it consumed with a black so stark that it looks to be a shadow or a white so bright that is seems to be as cold as ice, but instead in the intricacy of the colors that otherwise would be average and somewhat dull. A gray that occasionally borders on black is interwoven into an elaborate pattern upon a layer of pale cream that often appears to be a stark white, the steely hue yielding slightly upon the mane of the neck and the curve of his shoulders before closing into the web of striations that compose the arrangement of colors on his back.

There resides a delicate play of darker beiges tainted by the coolness of gray and the occasional splash of a brighter copper hue placed on the sharp jut of an elbow joint or the hint of orange like fire running along his ribs to mix with the creeping ashen that occupies the majority of his form, the powerful length of Talon's limbs melting from the indeterminate colors of his figure to a purer shade of warm beige that carries a pale echo of a bronzed shading, thicker ruff of the neck and chest are shaded primarily in the same warmly tinted cream of his legs with the intermingling of a fainter tawny near the edges of the sternum.

The select variety of colors that adorn Talon's features are the mixtures that are found elsewhere on his pelage, a gray that wavers between a high silvery shade and a far darker hue that shares similiarities with the almost black that is woven into the intricate patterns upon his back paints the broad expanse of his forehead in a wide swath of hair banded with a pale cream that borders on white to create a the variegated facial marking that is common to wolves, a pale orange that carries the ehos of a deeper sienna stains the topside of his snout and washes the backside of the ears in copper that is like the faint light cast from the rising sun.

A creamy white splashes from the simple colors decorating his chest and neck to the underside of Talon's muzzle and spreading in a wide fan to contrast the mellow oranges and steely grays that compose the mask of colors upon his countenance, a leaden shade appears to follow the contours of his cheekbones in a swathe of faded black at each side of his face, bestowing a rather intense aspect to Talon's visage and pale flaxen eyes that seem to hold the merest hint of green against the more neutral tones that surround the deeper hued streaks.

The power in Talon's muscles is not a strength wrought from the overwhelming bulk of a wolf intended for the brute strength that would be appreciated by a dedicated warrior, nor is it the rangy toughness that is often characteristic of those formed for nimble movements and swifter strikes, rather beneath the denseness of his pelt is the construction of a creature designed for both power that provides an advantage in combat against those particularly foolish enough to trespass and a swiftness of paw that allows for the ability to apprenhend prey or opponent with relative ease.

The muscles, the composition of which are of an athletically lean nature, that ripple beneath the insulating fur of Talon's pelt are forged from the strenuous training that he had underwent in his youth and maintained by the demanding activity is required of him. His responsibilities are not unchallenging and it is quite simple to observe the exhaustion that clings to his figure at the end of a particularly lively day, that in spite of the control that he holds over himself as a result of the difficult education that he had been selected to undertake from the time he was a mere pup, the nature of his position are still able make its presence felt in his hardened muscles that occasionally carry the weakness garnered by rigorous activity.

The stature of Talon would be considered to be an average height at a solid thirty (30) inches at the highest point of the shoulder and with a weight of one-hundred and twenty pounds he is not the most substantial wolf that resides in the pack, yet he is neither the slightest nor shortest member of the pack, it seems to be that he is the opposite of possessing a distinctive silhoutte that draws the eye with outstanding qualities of height or beauty of the coat. There is an advantage however, to being of average measurements and plain colors that is appropiate for a canine such as he.

There is a rather intimidating manner to Talon that is not fashioned from a particularly wicked glint of the eyes or a downright sinister appearance that he holds, instead it is found in the neutrally proud manner that he conducts himself with and the rather glacial gleam in his pale eyes that is sharpened to a further extent by the perpetual vigilance that is to be found within his optics, the intensity that can be glimpsed from Talon's gaze is the danger of a hunter's stare that is formidable in its focus.

Perhaps the sense of intimidation when directly facing him is wrought from the knowledge that he holds a position that is far from easily attainable, the fluidity of his movements that spark with a strength and confidence that befits a defender and the roughened edges of his appearance only verify the understanding that Talon is not a wolf to be trifled with, the marks of battles long healed are concealed within the security of his dense pelt but the sense that he is a warrior is not undermined by the lack of visible scars.
