Name: Nimue (pronounced neem way) Nicknames/Titles: Butterfly The Rose Princess Heartbreaker Age: 21 Gender: Female Sexuality: Polyamorous Bisexual Tribe: Sun-Tree Rank: Princess Desired Rank: Content Thoughts on the Dark-Moor Tribe?: They excite and intrigue her. She thinks they must be either wonderfully brave or horribly stupid to live on the ground, and is interested in why they have suddenly appeared in her tribe’s territory. Appearance: Nimue is slightly taller than the average female Drvokhis, at exactly 5 feet and 6.5 inches. She has a definite hourglass shape, with wider hips and shoulders and a narrow waist. The hourglass shape is further accentuated by her decently sized bust and butt. Her build is lithe and lean, her muscle mass more comparable to a ballerina than a boxer. She moves with a fluid grace, whether walking, flying, or dancing. Nimue’s skin is extraordinarily soft and smooth, the pale seafoam green flesh unmarred by any scars or tattoos. Nimue is right-handed, with slender and nimble fingers that end in well-cared for claws which she uses rather like guitar picks to play a lute-like instrument. Her large feathered wings are soft gray in color, with two bars of pale pink across each wing. Nimue’s face is heart-shaped, with a narrow chin and wider forehead. Her mouth is shaped like a perfect cupid’s bow, with pale lavender pink lips that contrast with her skin. Nimue has a small, rounded nose with a straight bridge and somewhat defined cheekbones. The eyes above the nose are somewhat round and upturned on the outer corners, which gives them a slightly hooded appearance. As with all Drvokhis, the sclera of her eyes are pitch black. The irises are a bright cherry red, which is an abrupt change from the soft pastels seen on the rest of her body. Similarly, her eyebrows and hair also break up the theme by being inky black. The eyebrows are well-manicured and thin without being sparse, with a definite angled arch that means that Nimue can raise one eyebrow to devastating effect. Above her eyebrows and past her hairline Nimue sports a pair of horns, slate gray in color and resembling those of an addax antelope in their ridges and spiraling. The horns are only about a foot long and have two twists. Like her siblings, Nimue has long, thick hair which she prefers to keep loose and between her butt and midback in length. The hair could best be described as a wavy 2A type. Occasionally she enjoys letting her lovers play with the hair, braiding it into complicated designs or elaborate buns. Finally, Nimue has a pair of long and slender pointed ears which protrude over an inch out of her hair. When it comes to clothes, Nimue has a much more expansive wardrobe than most of her tribe. Dresses, skirt and top combos, and top and pants combos are all fair game, coming in a variety of pastel shades in addition to the black-white spectrum. Usually however, Nimue prefers clothing that shows plenty of skin and is tight on top and flowy on the bottom. She almost never wears shoes, preferring the feel of wood and stone against her claws. She also loves jewelry of all kinds, and is often seen wearing armbands, braclets, necklaces, anklets, and circlets in all sorts of colors and styles.
Personality: | Flirtatious | Manipulative | Persuasive | Petty | Curious | Vain | Flighty | Hedonistic | Confident/Arrogant | Cunning | ImpatientShort Tempered | Observant | Sarcastic | Nimue’s defining personality trait is being a flirt. She’ll flirt with practically anything with a pulse, and has no shame for being provocative. She especially enjoys embarrassing the targets of her affections, and thinks it’s cute to make them stammer and blush. That isn’t to say she can’t take what she’s dishing out, as she loves being complimented and flourishes when she’s the center of attention. All in all she’s a very hedonistic creature, with little desire for responsibility or power. For Nimue, life is meant to be lived eating, dancing, singing, sleeping, and loving. While she is extremely flighty with her desires and frequently moves from one hobby or lover to the next, she can be cunning and persuasive when it comes to getting what she wants. She also has great observational skills and is always up to speed with whatever the latest gossip in the tribe is. Of course, even someone who focuses only on pleasure has a dark side. Nimue can be exceedingly vengeful and petty when she feels she’s been wronged, and she can hold grudges for a ridiculous amount of time considering how capricious she is. She prefers to humiliate her foes, as she finds violence distasteful and generally avoids it if possible. She loves drama and if there isn’t any currently happening, she’s not above creating it. Finally, being a member of the ruling family has given her a hefty sense of entitlement and arrogance, and her additional physical charms ensure that it is rare she is told no. Meaning of course, that when she is told no, all hell breaks loose. Crush: It fluctuates constantly, she has a new crush basically every week. At the beginning of the RP she will have her eyes set on Kian, but this is unlikely to remain the case for long. Mate/Spouse/S.O.: She’s currently single but has been romantically involved with probably a quarter of the tribe at one point or another, and possibly some of those are still around as FWBs or situationships (PM me to discuss these). Name:Seraphim "Burning ones" Age:19 Gender:Male Tribe:Dark-Moor Rank:Tribe member Desired Rank:Content Thoughts on the Sun-Tree Tribe?:Seraphim is quite curious as to how they live in the trees like that, compared to how his tribe lives on the ground, it is very interesting to him. He would like for there to be peace between the tribes, and he'd like to talk to a few and maybe even make some friends among the other tribe, preferably when everything has settled down and there isn't too much of a threat of war. Appearance:(Credits to Cilantro_Studios on Picrew.me)Almost everything about this young man is bright, a interesting contrast to the much more common dark theme of his tribe. Some seem to be made to favor the shadows, with everything about them to their skin and hair and wings being dark in coloration; and some seem to resemble brighter things in life, perhaps it is the sun with golden and orange themes in their natural colorations, perhaps the vivid green of grass and foliage in the sunlight with eyecatching hues of natural make. This Drvokhis is one such, though instead of a resemblance that brings to mind more peaceful objects in nature or passive ones, he finds his mirror in the infamouse element of fire. While his skin tone and eyes definitely fit into the more common appearance of his kind, it is his light hair and bright wings that are the ones that bring any attention to him from a distance. He stands at a good five feet ten inches (5'10"), placing him on the taller side of the men but still not the tallest among his tribe and surely not among his species as a whole. As expected he possesses a leaner build with lithe yet strong muscles, the build of a predator made to be swift on the ground or water or air and also able to hold its own in a confrontation, although he is truly made for both the air and earth. He often has a energetic lining to his movements, something that cannot be easily described in words but one just knows it when they see it; about the way he typically has a little spring in his step when heading off to complete a task or the bright look in his eyes when he is simply looking around. As of late though, he has gained a more restless bearing to him, seen by the minute twitches of his feathered wings and the way he stretches his limbs at random times as if to stave off the excess energy. Seraphim's skin tone is a deep brown color, yet it is not as dark as some, it does not appear black or of similiar shade. It is not the dark of most tree bark, or the depth of the soil underfoot, rather it is most similiar to mahogany. It is obviously a dark brown, not not too dark as to confuse it for another deep tone even from a distance, but it is not light enough to be seen as atypical of his kind; to add to this, there seems to be a warmth just under his skin that leaks into the otherwise cool or plain brown of his skin, a reddish undertone that adds something more to his appearance. His slightly unruly hair is quite a shock of light when in contrast with his darker skin, the mostly straight hair with a little bit of curl is a blond shade, a pale yellow color that is striking in most lighting, especially when the sunlight hits that head of hair, then it takes on a more golden edge when exposed to the warm rays of the sun. The length of this hair is on the shorter end, though cut so that it is longer towards the back where the locks nearly brush his shoulders; it is admittedly a good look on him, making the young man look even younger than his current age in the process. The irises of the young man are perhaps the only feature of his that does not evoke the image of scorching heat and radiating warmth from infernos and campfires alike. Surrounded by pitch-black sclera, the irises a clear aqua color like the brightest part of a clear-watered ocean or the lightest part of the afternoon sky. Except that the color is brighter than those more natural hues that are a little dimmer than his eyes, which have such a vivid intensity that perhaps if larger or present anywhere else on his body, would be difficult to look at in the light without squinting or wincing, a brightness which is helped by the darkness of the sclera and the warm brown of his skin. A thin scar runs down from his forehead, seeming to go through the right eye and ending at the bottom of his nose, thankfully the incident in which he gained this injury did not manage to puncture his eye. Seraphim's wings are particularly eyecatching, for outsiders to his tribe it would most likely catch some attention, whether folded close to his back or spread in an intimidation display to warn and try to back opponents back off before. Instead of being a solid color, it is a gradient of warm hues that come together to make a glorious picture. The very top of his wings, the feathers along the fine bone that make up his wings is a bright red, not the true red which resembles blood or the color of an apple, but rather a pretty shade that has some pink mixed into it but is still a visible red. The first row of feathers is this reddish shade, as well as the first few flight feathers. Then orange begins to swirl into the red and eventually the main color shifts to a vivid orange that is like the color of glowing embers, warm and bright. Then finally gold comes into the mix, ending with a rich hue that completes the fiery look of the feathers; a molten color that is rich yet has some depth to it at the same time. Truth be told his wings do not look like most wings that seem to be crafted out of natural items, instead it is like these large wings are that of the phoenix, the mighty firebird with a flaming form . Normally Seraphim can be seen practically flitting from place to place to help or to pass the time when he has nothing at the current moment to do, full of energy and almost never stopping for longer than a minute at a time. For the present time though, this has taken a change from recent circumstances. He had sustained two wounds from a very unfortunate run-in with an orc of the clan that pushed his tribe out of their home; being left with a injury to his wing and a temporary limp in his right leg. The wound to his wing is placed on the left one, and while he will be able to take flight sometime in the future, it is bad enough that he cannot get off the ground at the current time; and anyone can make out the bandage of Drvokhis make wrapped around the wing, quite close to where the wing comes out of his shoulder but still far enough from the root to be seen if the wing itself held in a relaxed manner or spread out. His limp is not too bad comparatively, there he got out better than his wing did but even with at least a week to heal, the favoring of that side is quite apparent from a distance. Personality:This young man undoubtedly has an interesting personality, whether it is good or bad, it depends on the perception of the individual. He is a louder type of person, seeming to match his flashy wings and the energy that is often seen in him. Nobody would accuse him of being quiet or withdrawn, he is quite the opposite of those words; while he does not yell or speak absurdly loudly, most of the time that is, he makes up for that in other ways. A very talkative person, he loves to chat with his tribemates about anything that crosses his mind, sometimes it is like he would go on for days unless another person pulls his attention away from the topic of conversation and to an object of importance. Absolutely the type to talk your ear off and then some, he can and will go on about the most absurd or mundane subjects and somehow make the conversation interesting, no one knows how he can do this and even he probably doesn't know how, but he can. This male is admittedly not the type to think things over too much before taking action, indeed he is the impulsive sort and tends to act on emotion and instinct rather than tactical thinking and observation. In some ways this fault can be made into a strength, as he will not hesitate to get in between a tribemate and the danger when he sees one in trouble, and he has little to no indecision over whether he should try another path when the situation calls for quick action and not much more. But in many cases, this is not a positive trait to have and it has gotten him into trouble in the past. There are times where he manages to hold himself back enough to access the situation, although this is a miracle in itself when it happens, therefore is quite uncommon and out of character for the man. Honestly it is to be expected that Seraphim can be irritating to some people, the near incessant talking about the most random topics and the impulsivity can get on people's nerves. To most he interacts with, it is unknown if he purposefully makes himself annoying or if the problem comes from him not being aware of others enough to catch on; in truth it depends on the people he is around. Most of the time he does not mean to be that way, he is someone who has boundless energy and is quite social and likes to talk with others, it is simply how he is. But there are times when around those he doesn't like very much, either by a wrong or conflicting ideas or something else entirely, that he admittedly does crank up the annoying traits to aggravate them. Perhaps a sign of his dislike include a too-sharp, too-sarcastic remark or a sudden change in behavior when compared to his normal conduct. It is easy to tell when this young man is trying to hide something or lie, he is naturally more expressive and he has a hard time hiding his feelings from others. The way his wings seem to press into his back more, or how he seems to have a hard time maintaining eye contact, there are numerous and clear tells that he is not divulging the full truth. He can't help that he is an easy person to read, practically an open book with how effortless it is to discern his mood, but he does sometimes wish that he isn't as open as he is. It can be a bit on the frustrating side for the male, though he usually has no problem with who he is, and typically he doesn't mean that when the thought crosses his mind. For Seraphim's faults of character, for how annoying he can be in both conversation and action, he does have a few redeeming qualities in him. He is someone who will help others and ask nothing in return, all he wants to do is to give aid when asked and even when not directly requestly of him, he will do it. He does not like to sit back and be idle when there are things that he can help out with; he uses his energy for better things most of the time, by doing what he has to do and then helping out with other tasks that he has not been asked to do. Although he is loyal to the Dark-Moor tribe, this would not stop him from giving aid to those outside his tribe. To add to this, he is often a more cheerful fellow and he tries to keep this up, especially in bleak or tense situations in an effort to calm those around him; it doesn't always work, and there are times where he is not in the mood to try and keep up the act. Not that he is always acting, but naturally there are days where he can't seem to rouse that casual happiness enough, it is expected though, everybody has rough days or days where they need to take a bit of a break, and he is no different. Some may call him immature because of how he typically acts, and some may disregard him as not a threat because of it, and some may get irritated at him quite easily due to the nature of the young man. It is true that he is chatty, and that he can be emotional and tends to follow his heart more than his mind, but he is smarter than he seems. While this is not an act, not a purposeful one anyways, it does act as a convienent mask of sorts. Some people may argue the opposite in regards to his more foolhardy behavior that has and will get him into trouble, despite that he is a bright young man, and he has a sharp mind and good instincts for things. Name: Navneet "Eternally New" Age: 19 Years Old Gender: Female Tribe: Sun-Tree Tribe Rank: Shaman's Apprentice Desired Rank: Shaman Thoughts on the Dark-Moor Tribe?: Navneet is wary, to say the least. These are unfamiliar people that have come into their home, and she is cautious of them. She remains relatively open-minded to them, and will follow the guidance of her mentor. Appearance: [Credit Goes to Malachitinous on Picrew.me] Navneet is a young woman of a curious complexion, sometimes even among her own species. Her skin is a medium shade of red, something like a dull shade of crimson, with hair of a deep wine red color, a similar color to her lips, which house long teeth, a bit longer than normal for her kind. Upon her head, even her antlers are a shade of deep red, not unlike her hair, with large wings to match the color. There are only a few things upon her that are different shades, with markings of pitch black and irises a bright, fiery shade of topaz. The woman's build is lean, but not gangly, frail or lanky. Her body is fit, but in a way that fits her figure, not expanding it with too much bulk, and she stands at 5'9". Her face is an oval shape, with a rounded off chin, but high cheekbones and a sharp jaw. Her arms and legs are long, with relatively small feet and hands that are quick and deft at their work. Using these legs, she has accidentally found herself walking in such a way that is extremely quiet, or silent at times, and she has a bad, although accidental, habit of scaring people when she suddenly "appears" in rooms. Navneet's hair is long and straight, with thin strands but thick hair with the sheer amount of them. Two locks of her hair come down to frame her face, the rest being set up to dangle around her long ears, tying back into the rest of her hair at the back of her head in a kind of half-up half-down fashion. Her hair reaches just above her hip height, and she makes sure to take good care of it. On Navneet's face and neck are black markings, dots and lines that range across her forehead, down her nose, beneath her eyes, around her mouth and a row of dots and lines around her throat, like a makeshift necklace. A vertical line of dots runs down her forehead, stopping only a little above where her eyebrows would be. Either side of the dotted line is an angular line, first angled away from the dots, and then sharply turning back towards them a little above her eyebrows, and the second line stopping just above her eyebrows. There is a second line, curved rather than sharp, sitting between the dots and the outer lines, starting only mid-way up her forehead and curling down beteen her eyebrows . Her nose has two vertical dots on it, with a set of three lines beneath them, the longest line closest to the dots, the shortest the furthest away. Above the dots on her nose are two angled lines, with another longer line beneath both of those closer to her eye, a dot at the end of the second line. Underneath her eyes are lines that are slightly swerved, with vertical lines coming out of that one, their starting points following the curve. On either side of her top lip are lines, and in the center of her bottom one is another line with a dot at the end. Around Navneet's neck is a black necklace, a crescent moon as the pendant. Her ears are adorned with earrings, some gold hoops, but her first, and most obvious, pair are a pair of teeth earrings with dark writing and symbols on the bottom of them. On her antlers, she hangs ornaments, chains, and hangs pendants off of the chains, pretty much anything she can hang off of her antlers. If she moves too quickly or moves her head too far to the side, they jingle and clink together. Now, the young womans wings are large and mighty. They're shaped something like an owls wings, allowing her to fly near-silently through the forest. As for the young woman's clothes, she's not exactly known for covering herself up. When she was younger, people would tell her to because of her bright skin and bright hair, but Navneet found a way to embrace her colors. She wears stylised tops that cover her chest, ending generally about mid-rib or so, and artfully made loincloths around her lower part, with cloth between her legs and flowing down in front and behind her, until about knee-height, leaving her legs mostly bare. At times, she can be seen covering up with more clothes or a cloak, but Navneet is extremely comfortable in her body and often sees little reason to, as she rarely hunts and mainly stays in the trees. Personality: Blunt || Reserved || Opinionated || Loyal || Selfless || Vindictive || Bold || Persistent || Stubborn || Cares Deeply For Those Close To Her || Aggressive || Feral || Wild || Animalistic || Resilient || Tough || Secluded || Elusive || Protective Navneet is an incredibly blunt individual, and it's rarely hard to confuse the meaning in her words. She has a habit of saying exactly what she thinks without sugar coating it, she sees no reason to. She rarely cares if the truth would hurt more than if she lied, and she cares even less if they've actively asked for her opinion. She isn't going to lie just to protect someone's feelings. However, if, for some reason, the young woman finds a reason that she deems good enough to bother lying, she's a very skilled liar, able to pass off practically anything in her blunt, detached fashion. She could tell you the sky was neon pink and not bat an eyelid. Her humor is much the same, blunt sarcasm, and, sometimes, her bluntness feels like a wall that she hides behind, shoving her real thoughts and feelings behind it. There are only two types of people who see anything past the bluntness; those that she's close with, and those that anger her. To her friends, family and loved ones, Navneet could be called something like kind, or gentle. She cares deeply about them, deeply enough to let them in and show her emotions, her thoughts, her sadnesses, her annoyances, and her happiest moments. When she loves someone, Navneet loves hard, she loves with everything she has, she gives the person the absolute power to destroy her, should they decide to turn on her. To those that anger her, Navneet is quick to aggression, quick to snarls, hisses, to show a far more feral side of her. She may even get violent, if the offence is large enough, and although she may have no formal fighting training, Navneet knows that she has fists and claws and that, if she tries hard enough, anything can do damage. She is fierce and extremely protective of her loved ones, and causing them offence is more often the reason that she looses her cool, jumping to their defence without a moments hesitation, even if she knows they're wrong. And sometimes, it doesn't stop there. If pushed far enough, Navneet can be vindictive, going out of her way to cause harm to someone who has garnered her ire, and she does so with little to no guilt. She would tear someone down, let them piece themselves back together, and tear them down all over again if it got her the revenge she sought. Despite that, Navneet is by no means selfish. She will take revenge, but rarely anything else on her own behalf. Even strangers, if she can help them without causing injury or harm to her loved ones, she will aid. She may do so begrudingly, or with a sigh, but she will help all the same. She is resilient and, figuratively, thick-skinned. The young woman is tough, despite her being reserved and elusive by nature. She knows by now that she can handle a lot, and is more than prepared to keep handling whatever life throws at her. It may be pushing her further into her shell, and even now, she rarely lets anyone in, sometimes can't be found if she doesn't want to be. But, even with the shell, Navneet is stubborn, she'll keep surviving as long as she can, keep pushing as long as she has a heartbeat and working lungs. Crush: None. Perhaps open. Mate/Spouse/S.O.: None. Children: None. Kin: Deceased. Affiliations: TBA Natigai | Shaman/Mentor | Mother Figure [Text Here] Other: I had like 8 different names to pick between, landed on Navneet, I'm not upset about it Navneet's parents are deceased from when she was young, about 13-14 or so, and she was very torn up about it in her younger years. It left her with nightmares and severe paranoia, although the paranoia has mostly abated now, her nightmares linger. Edited at May 19, 2023 10:43 PM by Polly

Name: Fazil Age: 46 Years Old Gender: Male Tribe: Dark-Moor Tribe Rank: Chieftan Desired Rank: Content, or Elder Thoughts on the Sun-Tree Tribe?: This was the other tribes home first, and while Fazil holds nothing but respect for them and their ways, he is the chieftan and must take care of his own tribe first and foremost. Whatever happens happens, but he'll always have to put his people first. Appearance: [Credit Goes to Deerinspotlight on Picrew.me] Fazil is a man of a grey complexion, rather dull in hue, but overall even across his body, except for around his eyes. His build is overall lean, although he could be described as a little broader than average for his species. While, like the rest of his kind, Fazil isn't at all built in a bulky or large way, the 6'2" man is more than confident that, in his younger years, he could have won a fistfight or two against another tribe member. The mans eyes are curious, one of three of his features that aren't monotone shades of grey. His scelra are black, but his eyes are a bright hue of cyan, standing out against monochrome features. Around his eyes are markings of red, all around his eyes and triangles underneath the outside corners. In the same shade, the mans bumpy horns are also red, a feature he was quite self-conscious of while growing up. Now, though, Fazil embraces the different color, even using a red cloth to tie his hair in a bun. The mans hair, while inky black in his youth, has begun to lighten with his age, and his face has begun showing signs of his age too, specifically around his cheeks and the corners of his eyes. Overall, his face has a rather blocky quality, fitting very well with his slightly broader than average figure. This figure allows for his wings, large, leathery and powerful on his back. When folded, they're almost as tall as he is, ending just a little over his head and around his lower-calf. Personality: Bold || Kind || Compassionate || Authoritative || Reliable || Resilient || Wise || Trustworthy || Protective || Confident || Caring || Calm || Patient || Perceptive || Responsible Fazil is a kind man, slow to anger, and even slower to act on it. His heart is a few sizes too big for his body, and it beats with a strong love for all those around him. He is kind, even to strangers, and allows his kindness to be stretched until it snaps like a rubber band. He cares for all that cross his path, the mean bone in his body being that of his little toe. Because of this, when the grey man loves or feels, he loves and feels hard, his entire being pushed into the feeling. Despite his kindness and compassion, the man isn't an idiot. He's protective of those he loves, fiercely so, and, if it came between picking a stranger and his own people, he would choose his own in a heartbeat. Fazil notices many things that go on around him, perceptive in a cautious way. He does his best to protect his friends and family, even going as far as to put himself in harms way if it meant getting them out of it. Having been trusted with a position of authority, Fazil takes it very seriously. He's extremely resilient, able to take many responsibilities and doing his absolute best to be reliable and responsible for the strength and health of his people. He strives to be trustworthy, to be a friend to his people as well as their Chieftan, a friend while also commanding respect at the right times. Fazil is a very calm person, and it gives him a patience in how he handles himself, others, and their problems. A quiet confidence in the way he acts and moves, hoping to instill the same confidence in those he's talking to. In the same fashion, the man is always open to having talks with his people, giving advice or opinions where they ask for it, spreading the wiseness his long years on this planet have given him. Name: Melinoë (pronounced meh-lee-noy) Nicknames/Titles: My Lady The Night’s Whisper Mooneyes Age: 44 Gender: Female Tribe: Dark-Moor Rank: Chieftess Desired Rank: Content Thoughts on the Sun-Tree Tribe?: She is unsure how to feel about them. She hopes there will be no need for hostilities, and is open to trade and cooperation if that is what her husband decides is best. Appearance: Melinoë is of average height for her species, at around 5 foot 6 inches. Like most of her kind she has a leanly muscled build, paired with narrow hips and shoulders to give the impression of a rectangle. This older woman is still quite nimble, and exudes a sense of deadly grace with every confident movement. Her skin tone is best described as glaucous, a deep blue-gray shade unmarked by any scars. However she does have a few tattoos done in black ink, specifically geometric banding around her biceps and forearms, as well as an ivy or vine design curling up her left calf from ankle to knee. Melinoë’s fingers are strong and short, with callouses from heavy bow usage in her youth. She doesn’t hunt as often now, but she still likes to practice archery from time to time just to keep her skills sharp. She also keeps her claws sharp and well-cared for, preferring to trim them on the shorter side. From her back sprouts a pair of feathered wings, noticeably larger than most Drvokhis and resulting in Melinoë being quite the fast and powerful flier. The wings resemble those of a sooty owl, with whitish-gray undersides and darker gray topsides with numerous small white spots. Melinoë has an angular, diamond shaped face with wide cheekbones and a pointed chin. Her jaw is strong and her cheekbones sharp, giving her face a very defined appearance. Her mouth is naturally somewhat downturned, with thin lips colored a dark silvery gray. Like all Drvokhis she has sharp canines, hers being so enlarged that they pretty much permanently protrude from her lips. She also has the beginnings of smile and laugh lines. Above her lips Melinoë’s nose could be best described as celestial, on the smaller side with a slight upturn at the end. Her eyes are somewhat wide-spaced compared to most of her kind, with the barest traces of crow’s feet beginning to appear at the corners. The eyes themselves are heavily hooded, with the eyelid permanently covering a small part of her outer eye. The black sclera contrasts immensely with her irises, which are a bright silver gray that nearly seems to glow in moonlight. Her eyebrows are softly rounded, and thick without appearing bushy. On the edge of her forehead, just before her hairline Melinoë bears a pair of obsidian black horns. The horns resemble those of an impala, being ridged and curling out and towards the back of her head before coming back in and rising vertically once more. Her horns are around 9 inches long. When it comes to her hair, Melinoë prefers to keep her wavy locks just under her armpit in length, styling the navy colored waves in a variety of ways. Normally she favors half-up half-down styles, such as leaving loose strands framing her face with a braid, bun or ponytail in the back, or the reverse where the front strands are braided back or into a bun and the rest are left free. Personality: | Protective | Elegant | Reserved | Courteous | Manipulative | Clever | Loyal | Deceptive | Calm | Adaptable | Perceptive | Caring | Confident | Cynical | Melinoë is a very reserved individual, preferring not to speak unless spoken to. She acts as support for her husband, quietly solving problems of lesser importance and generally working to ensure that conflicts within the tribe are taken care of before they reach the point of crisis. Despite her aloof nature, she is a very caring person and loves her family and tribemates deeply, to the point she would die to keep them safe. However, she is also pragmatic and if the actions of one member of the tribe endanger the rest she can be ruthless in dealing with them. Melinoë is a cynical woman who does not believe in forgiving and forgetting; if you cross her it will damage her opinion of you forever. That said, it is rare for Melinoë to lose her temper and her calm demeanor rarely dissolves in the face of strong emotions. As a royal, Melinoë’s main weapons are gathering information and manipulating her subjects into behaving themselves. She is very observant in addition to running a small but dedicated spy network that observes both her own tribe and any potential threats. Melinoë is an adept liar who is skilled in twisting the truth to suit her needs. Yet despite this, she is a very maternal figure, and generally goes the route of disappointed parent when punishing individuals for minor misdemeanors. She always carries herself with an air of confidence and elegance, and treats others courteously and with excellent manners. All in all, Melinoë does her best to be a devoted wife, a caring mother, and a compassionate ruler. Spouse: Fazil Children: Ithil and Charon Kin: If someone is interested in being her sibling pm me Affiliations: TBD, if someone wants to play one her spies I’m open to it Ithil and Charon: Melinoë loves her children, of this there is no doubt. But she also has high expectations of them, and won't coddle or favor them over other members of the tribe. In fact, she holds her family to a higher standard than the rest of the tribe simply because they are leaders (and future leaders) and Melinoë believes that entails being good role models. To that end, she can be a bit over-involved in her children's lives, specifically in areas that she percieves need improvement, such as Charon's selective muteness and Ithil's stubborness. Melinoë also sees herself as a bit of a mentor to Ithil, knowing as she does that Ithil wants to be Chieftess someday. To that end, Melinoë tries to model for Ithil what a leader should look like, as well as occasionally setting up "tests" for her daughter to assess and strengthen Ithil's abilities.
