Apperance:
When you first look at this young man you first notice his boyish face, the sharpness of his jawline yet the way it tapers out to a round chin with a slight point. He bears a more heart-shaped face, some say it gives him a more dainty and charming look to him - it accentuates the roundness and fullness of his cheeks that always seem to have a slightly rosy tint to them. His face is always clean shaven, and he rarely has to deal with facial hair - maybe every once in a while . His cheeks are dusted with freckles , them being different variations of brown, some darker than others and some lighter than others - and they are sprinkled on his nose as well, and his nose can be described as an aristocratic nose. With a slightly rounded appearance and button-mimicking shape. As for his eyes, they are a star feature of his, they are a uncommon amber hue - the yellowish-orange eyes capturing the hearts of others, sometimes even mimicking pools of honey in the right lighting. They have a very strong copperish look to them with hints of a goldish-gray look to them, and they are frame by long and thick pale lashes that makes them seem to stand out even more . His eyes are rather big and expressive when needed, they have rather affectionately been called doe eyes. Why? Because they say if he gives you the puppy dog look with those eyes of his - there is no saying no. And then in the corner of his right eye, are three beauty marks that just seems to complete the look. Under his eyes are slight bags, but they're only noticeable if you're really looking at his face - it's a testament to his restless and insomniac nature. His eyes are usually held in a neutral expression, yet they still glimmer with their beauty even when they're not giving emotion. Not for his lips, he has a deep cherry red lips almost an ombré effect - with his lips being a deep almost blood red in the middle and then slowly lightening into a cherry red and then the pale pinkish hues and undertones in the edges. They are full and heart-shaped, you can see them in action when they're drawn up in a smirk, grimace , or he's pouting and other various actions .

His hair is a rather pale blonde, this tresses being long and thick against his head - the locks having a natural curl and spring to them. It's interesting to look at his hair, at the roots you'll see a small amount of pale and dark brown hair mixed before jarringly changing into the lovely pale shade of blonde, with a slight vanilla hue to it. The hair almost appealing like silver in the light. He gained this lovely look from his mother. And if one would look closer they would see the grayish-silver strands of hair upon his head and a slight amount of brown sullying the look but overall not seen. His hair is quite long, just resting at his elbows - he kept it long much to the dismay of his father. And it can be seen out up in beautiful braids and other type styles if he so chooses to for it to be different. His hair is well-kept and well groomed, he didn't take to having unkept hair very well - he has an assortment of oils and treatments he uses to keep his hair nice and beautiful . His hair out against his fairly warm skin tone , his skin being a tawny beige color , though in warmer months his skin tans quite well and he can be very brown in color when under the sun for while. The warmth of his skin contrasts against the coolness of his hair quite well and suits him. Not to mention the other assortment of beauty marks and freckles spread along his body. You can see a rosy undertone whenever he gets overly exhausted as he turns a light shade of red, or when he blushes how the red tinges the cheeks of his face.

This young man is of average height, standing at a height of 5'7 . However he doesn't let this deter him - he walks with a confident stride, there is a natural sway in his hips and his steps are always with a purpose . He also always seems to have a bounce in his step as well. It can be said he has a rather androgynous figure, yet he has rather well toned legs and arms due to extensive training. He has rather excellent posture and does his best to keep his posture well. He has a rather well-balance figure, as he's built for speed and agility but also mildly for endurance and strength. He has quite a flexible and agile body which makes him quite quick and light on his feet. Also able to do aerobatic stunts and a lot of flips and tumbles, that sort of thing.

Standing at 5’10” this woman is on the taller end for sure. Her height has always been something she’s struggled to master, as she was not at all graceful in her childhood. She weighs in at around 170 with about 20% body fat, so not super toned and having a good amount of lean muscle, nothing that large, but big enough to be intimidating if anyone were to think about it. She has an hourglass body type, with shoulders and hips about the same width and her waist dipping in slightly, though her feminine shape is lost a bit due to muscle. She’s overall proportional, so one wouldn’t guess her height from a distance. In fact, one might not even guess she was a woman from a distance, with her figure. Her bust is also on the smaller side, a thing she’s rather grateful for, considering her job.

This woman sports a diamond shaped face with softly squared cheekbones and jaw, and a somewhat narrow, round chin. She has round doe eyes that are a medium brown, though both her parents had green eyes, a genetic anomaly she used to be upset by. Ace’s eyes are framed by long eyelashes that many fawned over during her days with her parents. Her hair falls to just below her shoulder blades, and it is a hazel tone with natural lowlights and highlights scattered throughout to make it shine different colors in natural lighting. However, this hair is usually braided or pulled back somehow, so it doesn’t often get to show itself off. When it is down, it frames her face in gentle waves, but can impede her sight, so not ideal for a knight. Said hair was cut roughly upon begining her training as a knight, but has since grown back. Her eyebrows are delicate arches that draw further attention to her doll-like eyes. Ace’s skin is a warm olive tone and free of any marks.

Overall, this woman is very lovely. She moves in a graceful manner, having overcome her clumsiness of earlier days, and she holds herself high and proud, almost daring others to challenge her in her posture. The only thing offsetting the graceful maiden seen in Ace’s personage is the fact that she has an expressionless face, intentionally. More often than you'd think, the mask slips and she’ll show her thoughts, but she’s taught herself it's best to have the straight ahead stare, taking everything seriously expression she expects a knight should have. There is actually a permanent wrinkle between her eyebrows and mild frown lines due to this.

Attire:

Her wardrobe not changing much, Ace is always in lighter toned clothing, besides when she dons armor. Usually, she likes keeping it casual when possible, as her size and form combonation is enough for most. She wears knee high boots with her pants tucked underneath them and a loose shirt that ties closed at about her collarbone. Never will she be exposing her chest or wearing tight fitting clothing, unless formally dressed for a dance or something, due to her commitment to the role.

Weaponry:

Having to make up for physical strength she lacks compared to men, a crossbow is a favorite of Ace's. Like other knights, she knows how to handle a sword and daggers, but not nearly as efficiently as she handles an arrow in a crossbow. She could "shoot a flea off a dog's nose" as the knight she trained under used to say. She can use a bow proficiently as well, but the unsteady motion of drawing the string does make it more difficult for her.

Personality:

First impressions tend to go that many dislike this woman, yet respect her. She comes off as cold, casting a judgmental glance upon anyone and everyone unless they are her superior. She is always extremely reverent and obedient to those above her, almost to the point of a religious duty.

This exterior is extremely serious and intense, even intimidating to many. This is what Ace is shooting for, so is a front she successfully puts up. She tries to make up for her sweet facial features with the aura and expression she gives. This comes with a sense of apathy. Not many feel that Ace even tries to understand them, she won’t give her opinion unless it’s negative most the time. Her motto is more “If you have anything mean to say, it’s best others know what you’re thinking.” Sometimes, she makes these comments in jest, though her tone doesn’t allow anyone to pick up on that fact unless they know her. She can be pretty teasing, though it has more of a bullying vibe that can lead many to offense unless they fully comprehend her intentions.

Despite the cold exterior, she still displays her intelligence. She has many rude things to say, but she often times has a point to what she’s saying, and she’s often right, even when she phrases it in the rudest way possible. She’s not a super quiet individual, but she also doesn't waste words. She’s either rude or blunt, no mincing her words.

Being a knight means fighting your fears and charging into combat without too much thought to the matter. Initially, Ace struggled with this, as she’s always been raised to think before acting in order to prevent others forming a bad opinion of her, as a noble lady. She worked at going into things without thinking, and now it comes as second nature. Should there be any danger, whether physical or political, she’s the first to the scene. Many think her brave for this, and that much is true, but it can also lean on the edge of impulsive behavior and might one day lead her astray. This being said, she won’t keep her mouth shut about something she’s passionate about, even when it will get her in trouble. Most the time, she comes off as nonchalant, but there are certain areas where her emotion shines through, and she’ll even speak bluntly to someone above her, which goes against all her training and raising.

Internally, there is a scared girl that feels she must go through with that to which she committed. She only became a knight to urge a noble to back out of a marriage engagement with her, but she’s since devoted herself to the job, even though she feels somewhat trapped by the situation.

Being born noble, Ace was once used to being waited upon hand and foot, so it was a jarring experience going from that to waiting on someone else (those she trained under). Sometimes, the selfish upbringing still shows through, and she’s hardly aware of it. This means she comes off as selfish at times, especially when addressing those below her.

The side of Ace that nobody sees, unless you’re willing to put up with the rough exterior to get her to open up, is the sensitive, uncertain, and empathetic girl that was scared into training as a knight. Her parents were surprised at her choice, and thus shocked into growing somewhat distant to her, feeling they no longer knew her, and that was the only family and friends she had. Therefore, she feels pretty alone sometimes, despite all the people she’s come to know since becoming a knight. Her heart hurts for those who suffer and she’s deeply hurt when someone thinks poorly of her, but this doesn’t show through, and she doesn’t want it to. She doesn’t want your pity, empathy, whatever you want to call it. Keep it to yourself.

To some extent, she’s a hopeless romantic. She doesn’t really want a knight in shining armor, she more wants a quiet person with a soft hand that can ease her into comfort around him. Of course, she’s always resisted these advances, maybe as a defense, maybe as a way of making them work for it, she’s not sure, it’s more of a subconscious thing. Either way, she’s inwardly still the noble girl waiting for her royal savior as far as romance goes.

Backstory:

Born into a noble family with a rich father and trophy wife mother, this girl immediately captured the hearts of fellow nobles with her doe eyes and soft waves of dark golden hair. She was raised a lady, and she was successful in her studies of both the education and social type. In short, she was what she was meant to be. However, upon reaching the age of 17, she was betrothed to a wealthy man she'd never met. True, he was kindhearted, and she could have done way worse. But, she didn't know him, he was 10 years her senior, and she didn't want to be trapped the way her mother was.

A good way to loose someone's interest as a female noble is to cut your admired hair to the roots and begin training as a knight, and that she did.

Affiliations:

Evander Torano - Having once sworn loyalties to the crown while the prince stood first in line, Ace had her loyalties dead set in his favor. Since his exile, she's felt conflict regarding the situation, but her loyalties keep her from entirely sympathizing with him.

Cassian Iorwerth - Being her superior, Ace is always obedient to Cass. She even used to revere him second to the crown and admire him above most others, but, since his spiral, she's wary around him and not entirely trusting. Of course, she doesn't let her feelings get in the way of her obedience, but she has a strictly professional relationship with him at the moment.

Marie Torano - The queen could step on Ace and this woman would worship her for it.
