Name: Seraphina Malock
Gender: Female - She/They
Sexuality: Bi - female leaning
Role: The Healer
Relationship with Ability: Mildly uncomfortable with using it out of fear of exploitation, she is comfortable with using it on themselves but will refrain from utilizing it in the presence of others, preferring to keep it a closely guarded secret. Understands most of how it works, yet can struggle to control it under pressuring circumstances.
Appearance:
Sera stands at 5’5 with an hourglass figure, and she brings with her a welcoming aura. Soft, azure eyes are what most notice at first, an unforgettable gaze filled with an indescribable emotion, the closest being understanding, but even then, it doesn’t fit exactly right. But aside from that, her eyes are round and framed with dark lashes, the most prominent feature of her otherwise soft face. An angled jaw follows full lips, a kind shape to her face, often lit with a smile.
She has fair skin, and a slightly toned figure with thick thighs, pleasantly filling out her silhouette. Her hair is blonde, almost ashy in tone, often with various other colors streaked into it, courtesy of her love of hair dye. Currently streaked with an icy blue, the shade is so similar to her natural color that it’s only noticeable after a few takes. It falls a bit past her shoulders, wavy and usually windswept from spending her time outdoors. Shorter pieces of hair frame her face, adding a delicate trace to her features, the blue bringing out her eyes even more, if possible.
Her complexion is broken up with a few scatterings of freckles, spread across her nose bridge and other, seemingly random, points of her body. She doesn't grow much body hair naturally, and most of it goes ignored as it doesn't bother her. Small scars decorate her hands and arms, often from working where she loves the most, with other animals and assorted wildlife, as sometimes they don't appreciate her in return. It hasn't deterred her at all however, each scar not becoming a point of negativity, and instead being another chapter to her story, another tale to tell, each proof of her dedication to what she loves.
Attire & Accessories:
She often dons delicate gold jewelry, thin chains linking pendants of assorted wildlife, usually made up of birds, ivy, or flowers. Colored butterfly clips keep her hair from her eyes, rarely substituted for their golden variant which Sera saves for those special occasions. Never without a few rings on her fingers, she dons a few thin bands, gold to match the rest of the jewelry, yet in the middle of her left hand sits a wooden ring, engraved with hibiscus flowers filled with a sapphire colored resin. Odd, yes, in comparison to the rest of her jewelry, but it holds a purpose to Sera, one another piece just couldn’t replace.
Seraphina tends to wear baggy or cargo pants, and the occasional pair of leggings. Her tops are usually halter cut, or oversized for comfort. Sera's wardrobe is made up of mostly muted shades, autumn colors, and the occasional white or black piece. Tall, platform sneakers complete her look, occasionally seen with beads strung along the outside, courtesy of when Sera was feeling particularly crafty.
Personality:
Describing Sera is a bit of a difficult feat, many aspects of her personality in contrast, accentuating one another to pull together the girl that is Seraphina. When first meeting her, she'll come off as sweet, welcoming, polite, and kind, offering a cautious smile and a few compliments. But as you spend more time with her, she grows more comfortable, her polite front falling as she teases and cracks a few jokes, falling into very theoretical and deep talks late at night, when none can hear her but the wind whispering outside the window. Their winning smile makes more frequent appearances, lighting up their whole expression with a confident gaze in her eyes. Her flirty personality is revealed next, comments made with a wink being slid into normal conversation, before being brushed off a moment later.
She knows her worth, and is not willing to take any shit from other people who waste her time. She gets along with most decently easily, but some people put her on edge for assorted reasons, and she finds it extremely uncomfortable to even be near them. Dedicated and honest, if anything, Sera wouldn't lie to you. A tad stubborn, she sticks by her decisions or the decisions of friends, resilient to change without someone just as stubborn to convince her otherwise. Passionate and a tad of a spitfire, she won’t hesitate to stand up to things she believes are wrong, striving to right as much as they can in the world before her time is up. Sera takes a realistic look to life, not necessarily pessimistic, but they accept and acknowledge the downfalls of humanity, yet not holding anyone in particular to blame.
A bit of a social butterfly, she loves to chatter and meet new people, as long as they’re nice. Otherwise, she tends to sit off to the side, visually uncomfortable and just wanting to go home. She’s quick to anger, yet tries to keep it from affecting her, always having been a bit jealous of those with more patience. She has a bad habit of overthinking certain situations, very cautious of the image she portrays to the rest of the world. It can affect some of her relationships, yet she communicates it to the best of her abilities, attempting to keep it at bay.
Likes: Wildlife rescue and rehabilitation (her job), the ocean - in particular being the feeling of floating in the salt water, without a care in the world, honesty + bluntness, games (particularly strategic ones), and reading (strictly fantasy and romance)
Dislikes: history (the class in school will never do anything but lull her to sleep), those who doubt them, moths. They’re terrifying.
Strengths: Her passions, undying passion to those she cares about, their kindness and empathy towards others, and her drive to make things right.
Weaknesses: Their quick anger, overthinking, and how she tends to close herself off when distressed. She’s a bit insecure, unsure of herself and thre true beliefs of others, doubting humanity at the core.
Affiliations: Garvin - Neutral
Backstory:
Having grown up in the area, she’s lived a fairly normal life, breezing through elementary and middle school before landing herself at the local high school. Not any outstanding grades, aside from the occasional D in history - which annoys her to no end. She hasn’t ever been terribly close to her parents, as both of them work full time jobs nowadays and don’t tend to linger in the house. Although they’ve been absent, it isn’t uncomfortable, each of them falling into an independent rhythm. They do supply for Sera’s needs, always keeping the house filled and attempting to remain in contact although it always falls short as they stumble back into that familiar metronome.
Sera works afterschool, biking over to the local rescue and rehabilitation center, where she spends most, of not all of her hours. It’s become her true home of sorts, among the birds with broken wings and a particular cat, Stubby, who won’t leave them alone. She strives to one day leave this place, dreaming of new locations with crystal clear oceans, lush and vibrant forests, tropical and warm when compared to the town she’s called home.
Activity Level : a 5 as it’s testing season, but after next week i should be a 9.
Trivia:
Her bird's star sign is Taurus, he was born on May 9th.

Stubby, a black and white cat which looks vested in a tuxedo, seems to have taken a liking to her after she helped with his rehabilitation.
Other : I will be adding on to this slowly, but nothing super major ^^
