Kolbe stands at 5' 10”, though he can sometimes seem 5’11” or 6’0” due to how proud he is. His skin is fair, if not a bit darker due to how much sun he gets. He’s honestly lucky that he tans instead of burns. As for freckles? He has plenty- Everywhere. Shoulders, hands, face, neck, arms, legs- Everywhere.

Kolbe has a diamond shaped face, with pointed features and an elegant feel. Now for the nose, he has a pointed nose, meaning that while it’s a relatively normal nose- It’s also pointed more than most noses are. His lips are full and naturally charming with his expressions. He grins, he smiles, and he smirks. Frowns and straight lines are usually rare with him.

His eyebrows are average in thickness, and with a slight, casual arch. Finally, his eyes are a deepset almond shape and he actually has heterochromia. His right eye is an amber color with his right being a blue color with specks of grays that cause it to give off the impression of being a shade of purple. His bottom lashes are rather thick too, though his upper ones are about average if not just a bit thicker than average too honestly. His face is framed by wavy, dyed purple hair, though the waves are certainly a loose kind of wave. Or at least, half of his face is framed by it. With the right side shaved to being more like a faded kind of deal, the left was practically left completely alone to go down to his shoulders in what is basically a half mullet hairstyle. His bangs are often in his face, and only stay out of his eyes because they're short enough to barely miss them.

His body structure could quickly be described as rectangular. Everything about his structure screams that he’s more so built for agility than muscle, though he certainly has enough of that to at least hold his own in hand-to-hand until he can get a weapon. He weighs a good 145, with his BMI at a perfectly healthy 20.80.

When it comes to scars, Kolbe has one at the left side of his neck, from his first meeting with Cape. Long since forgiven, especially since it means the two match. Other than that, he has some at his hands and fingers from learning as many instruments as he can.
Attire:
When it comes to attire and fashion, Kolbe loves his loose clothing. He usually opts to wear a loose shirt of any color, a jacket that he dyed rainbow himself, ripped pants, and giant, leather boots. A very gay punk look, all in all.

As for accessories? He’s got what probably counts as armor for when his vulture friend, Cape, decides to hitch a ride on him. Though, he also has plenty of rings that he wears at times- He loves the shininess of them. As for any piercings he has? He does have a lobe piercing on both ears, as well as an industrial one on his left, an orbital one also on his left, a helix one on his right along with a rook one. He also usually wears some kind of crystal necklace and spiked choker.
ShapeShift Appearance:

In animal form, Kolbe takes the appearance of a Cape Vulture, or a Kolbe’s Vulture. Super original of his parents, I know. Honestly, it’s part of why he has Cape though. As it stands now, he sucks at shapeshifting. So he has Cape, who helps him better visualize what his animal form is supposed to look like. Of course, this does mean he takes on the exact same appearance as his friend vulture.
Voice: Kolbe’s voice is deeper, lower, but still insanely smooth. He obviously took good care of his vocal cords. Honestly, it’s no surprise that he’s good at singing when you hear him talk. He got lessons when he was young and then he just kept learning and practicing even after. Just like with every other instrument.

Personality:
Kolbe is… Proud. And loud. And sometimes insensitive, if we’re being honest. He doesn’t care who you are, he doesn’t care what you’ve seen, he doesn’t care if you’re having a bad day. Because he sure as hell isn’t! He’s doing great and he’s not going to let someone bring it down! Run off Karens, you’ve met your doom!

Truth be told, Kolbe is just looking to have some fun. He loves a good challenge, and hates when people go easy on him. He doesn’t want that. He doesn’t want people to think they have to treat him a certain way just because he’s a prince or whatever. Chill out and actually try!

Kolbe is very extroverted, and is actually a pretty fun guy to hang out with… If you can keep up with his mood swings. Because he does have those. Quite often. One moment he’ll be singing, dancing, and complimenting people. And the next? He’ll be trying to fight everyone. And I mean everyone. Insults, mockery, rolling of the eyes. The whole thing.

Two things stay the same though- His love of animals and music. He can never turn down a good song, and animals are always nice to see and pet and chill around. He’s also protective of friends, and will do anything to help them. Literally anything. You need help burying a body? He can burn it for you! Well, as long as he cares about you enough, of course. Which he probably does, given he gets attached quickly. Quickly and deeply.

Regardless, Kolbe is the life of the party kind of guy. He doesn’t wait around, doing nothing. He has to constantly be busy, otherwise he gets to thinking and usually ends up getting mad. And if others are trying to rest, do nothing, wait around for an answer that won’t come? He’ll try everything and anything to push them into moving again. Unless he passes out, he doesn’t let a group stop. He doesn’t let a group give up.

Reputation: Kolbe is usually seen as someone destined to be more of a bard; given his love of music, how many instruments he knows, and his already strong amounts of magic. Frankly, he agrees. Others think he’s to be a great warrior, given how he already knows how to dual wield and throw daggers with accuracy. He agrees less on that one, he sucks at every other weapon after all. Overall though, most people see him as a brat and a punk.

Lei stands rather tall at 5’ 11”, though she tends to seem 6’0” or even 6’1” due to the pride she allows herself to walk with nowadays. Her skin tone is an ashen color with warm undertones like a flame, something adds to her overall vibe of fire and ash. When it comes to freckles, Lei has none except for some sprinkled here and there, and they’re mostly hidden due to her ashen skin. She does, of course, have the shapeshifter tattoo on her left hand.

Lei has a rectangular face shape, meaning her face has the same kind of jawline as a square face shape but her face is longer than a square. Now for the nose, she has a slightly bunched nose, though it certainly fits her features quite well. Her lips are upturned in shape, but relatively average when it comes to fullness if not a little fuller. Her most commonly seen expressions are smirks and flirty grins. It’s rare to see her without some kind of smile.

Her eyebrows are a bit thin in thickness, and with a pointed, though casual arch. Finally, her eyes are a deepset hooded shape and, now with her being in the confines of the school, completely black like her most favored form to shift into. There’s light eye bags underneath them hinting at her self-induced insomnia, but they’re easy to ignore with her eyes. Her bottom lashes are thick, though her top ones are average.

Her face is framed by hair that’s the color of wood burnt to a crisp, or of smoke in the night sky- Completely and utterly black. It’s poofy and curly too, though to be honest it doesn’t really frame her face. The back gets to the nape of her neck. It’s in the style of a mohawk, though it certainly has bangs too. Luckily, the bangs really only fall over to the side of one of her eyes. So she can still see quite well.

Her body structure could quickly be described as an hourglass, with curves easily adding onto her form. Everything about her structure screams that she’s more so built for muscle than agility despite that. Though, she certainly is agile enough to move quickly on her feet if she sees a need to do so. She weighs a good 155, with his BMI at a perfectly healthy 21.62 without taking into consideration her tail or pincers. Speaking of her tail and pincers- Now that she’s no longer surrounded by human normies, she’s taken to having the tail and pincers of her favored form to shift into. The tail of a Deathstalker, her namesake. The poison included. Along with the tail, she shifted her pinky and ring fingers into the pincer of the Deathstalker as well, the would-be fingers moved slightly to allow it easier for her to still use her hands too.

When it comes to scars, Lei has a few. One at her right eye, that goes through her eyebrow and down her cheek a bit. This is the only one that has any affect on her, and the only one she has any regrets over. Due to this one, she is partially blind- She luckily hadn’t lost all of her sight. Other than that one, she has a few scars on her back and a few on her arms from different fights she’s gotten into over her years.
Attire:
When it comes to fashion, Quinn certainly looks like a rocker. She wears a cropped, black t-shirt with a skull and roses on it, the right sleeve looking as if they were ripped off and the left one going all the way to her wrist. Along with that she wears a gray jacket- Nothing too special about it, it’s not cropped or ripped at all. Though she does usually have pins on it, and there’s a scorpion on the back. The Deathstalker. Lei wears ripped, black cargo pants most of the time with knee-high, black, leather, buckled and laced combat boots.

As for accessories, this girl is stacked. Lei wears two different crystal necklaces, one jasper and one citrine. Along with those, she also has a black paperclip choker that she wears. She also usually wears white ribbons or gauze that she tied around her hands as hand wraps for fighting. As for piercings, she has a lobe piercings on each ear along with an industrial on her right and a conch and daith on her left.

As for any tattoos she has? She, of course, has the one that all shapeshifters have. The one on the top of her left hand, the blue glowing star. Unlike most though, she got a tattoo artist to do the tattoo of a Deathstalker right in the middle of it. Other than that, she also has a tattoo of flames going up her right arm, and her left shoulder has a Chimerarachne seeming to climb it. She also has a skull tattoo with another of a Deathstalker tail curling out of the right eye socket of it on the inside of her left calf.
ShapeShift Appearance: While it is true that Lei can shapeshift into anything she so pleases to shift into- She does prefer her scorpions. More specifically, the Brontoscorpio and the Deathstalker. Mostly the Deathstalker, as it’s her favorite and her namesake.
Voice: Lei’s voice is… Confident and firm. She’s loud without even trying to be. Her voice has a feel to it too, cheery and ready for action. It’s on the lower side of feminine voices, and it’s a lot smoother than most would believe her voice to be. All in all, she’s rather proud of her voice.

Personality:
To put it simply, Lei is a mess. A total mess. But not in the way you’re probably thinking, as if she’s some sad little girl that needs protecting. In fact- It’s just the opposite. You probably need protection from her. She’s what most people think they want to be. Strong and confident. It’s her way or the highway. She’s stubborn, determined- You really think you can beat her? Fine, duke it out with her, see if you still think that. She’ll beat you to a pulp without a second thought.

She values strength, a lot. All forms of strength. Mental, physical, spiritual, emotional- Any and all strength is valued by Lei. That being said, if someone at a disadvantage tried to fight her, she’ll find a way to make it even. She doesn’t fight those weaker than her without doing so, after all- What’s the point of winning if it was obviously going to happen anyways? Give her a challenge or get lost! Don’t get her wrong, if after she makes it even you show weakness? She’s going after it quicker than you could blink.

This being said, she actively searches for challenges. She’ll actively egg people on that she thinks would be an interesting match. And to her, anyone that refuses to fight her- They’re scared, embarrassed, disrespectful, and without dignity. Those who do not even try to prove themselves do not have pride in themselves.

She has absolutely no impulse control. For some reason, she can’t see that her actions may have consequences. She doesn’t see why she should fear anything. She doesn’t see how anything could possibly happen to her. Lei, in her own opinion, is unbeatable. Unstoppable. A force to be reckoned with. And anyone in her way will pay the price.

Despite her ambitions and impatience- She’s easy to distract and prone to boredom. She wants to run free, not be cooped up. She also wants to be in charge of everything everyone’s doing. She also wants to cook. She wants to start a garden. She wants to start a fight. Lei doesn’t like waiting, she also doesn’t like being told what to do. She’ll do whatever she wants, thank you very much! But if you push her attention towards something else, even slightly, she’ll probably end up getting distracted.

More on that ‘prone to boredom’ though, since just that isn’t doing it justice. Truth is, Lei can be heavily apathetic, insensitive, and irritable. Feeling is hard for her, understanding her feelings is even harder. She’s more likely to pick a fight with a stranger to deal with things than to try and talk it through with who she’s actually mad at. When she isn’t busy beating people up or insulting people or doing something, really, then she’ll either drift in and out of missed sleep for hours. Or, she’ll be unable to rest in any way and end up looking for something to do. Regardless of how dangerous, illegal, or reckless it is.

When it comes to people, Lei is definitely extroverted. She’ll talk to people easily, and if she thinks you to be a striking woman- She’ll flirt. And she’ll flirt until you tell her to stop, multiple times. She doesn’t really understand boundaries too much. She’s a hug person, she’s a no personal space person, she’s a shoplifting person because ‘why should I have to pay anyways?’. But she’ll still respect people if they tell her something, though you’ll have to tell her a few times as she is prone to forgetting at times.

She’s really fun to be around though. She’ll liven up a room with her attitude of always doing something. It’s basically a party with her around. She doesn’t care for rules, so she can easily plan to do things that others wouldn’t normally plan without much fear or regret from knowing she’s breaking a rule. Sure, she knows what she’s doing, but her brain won’t make the connection between punishments.

Back to positives- If you become her friend, even just a surface level one, she will protect you until her last breath. It doesn’t matter to her how long she’s known you, if you’re in trouble or in danger- She’ll find a way to help. She’ll find a way to protect you. And she’ll do it all without realizing the consequences, without fear, without a second thought. Because when she cares, she cares with everything she’s got. She never puts in less than 110%. Not once.

Even with all of her negatives, she’s still a very silver-tongued lady. She knows how to get what she wants. She knows how to twist her words into threats, into pretty promises, into grand speeches- She just tends to use that as a trump card. She doesn’t give her words out to just anyone, and she actually tries to come off as someone who can’t use words in such a manner. The surprise always works in her favor, and she uses that to her advantage every time.

Backstory: Lei doesn’t see the point in talking about her past, so she doesn’t make a habit of it. The past is the past, let it stay in the past. That being said, her parents stayed away from most civilizations, stayed with other shapeshifter Darions who fancied desert scorpions and lived in a similar enough area to where those would’ve lived. A place that was hot and dead, basically. A few other Darion families of different species lived there, but for the most part? It was a small community of Darions with desert suited shifts.
