Oarlock
Age: 7
Gender: Female
Breed: Friesian Horse
Herd: Plains Herd
Rank: Herd Mare
Desired Rank: Content
Appearance:
Oarlock is a type of horse known as a friesian horse, which were typically used in wars. These horses are normally very tall and heavy, so it explains how she weighs 1349.9 pounds. Most of the mare's height comes from her long and powerful legs, but she reaches 16.4 hands high at the top of her head.
Head: Oarlock has a long face like normal horses. Her eyes are amber yellow, and with sunlight reflecting off of them, they may seem orange. Her teeth are yellow and dirty. She has small ears that are often put in a relaxed way.
Mane: Oarlock's mane starts in between her small ears and travels down the middle of her neck, and just naturally falls more to the right side of her neck. One thick strand of hair dangles just behind her right eye, but she never notices the little thing.
Body/Build: Oarlock has a lean build, but mostly from running for so long, she burned off a lot of fat.
Legs & Hooves: Oarlock's legs make up most of her height because of the unnatural length they possess. The length of her legs also helps her run faster with speed, and grace. Her hooves are thick and big with lots of fur draping over them.
Tail: Oarlock's tail is long, and the hair is silky and smooth.
Colors: Her primary coat color is chocolate brown. Her mane, tail, and hooves are a dark chocolate brown. Her eyes are amber yellow.
Personality:
Reticentive | Intelligent | Sweet | Motherly | Thoughtful | Empathetic | Compassionate | Loving | Ally | Loves Foals
Oarlock is a very sweet horse. Her loving tone is obvious in her soft voice, often more when she speaks to foals to try and calm them down. She's motherly and caring, and very defensive of her herd ever since the other lead stallion went missing.
Oar is very easily tricked. She's too trusting towards stranger horses unless they are by the foals, then it's a different story.
Oar would happily babysit the foals in her free time, or even not in her free time! She is one you can trust to bring them to you completely unharmed and rested, if she can make them.
Oar will always be on her herd's side, and you can already know she'll at least try and defend you from danger.
