Name:
Corin Wren
Age:
18
Gender:
Male
Appearance:
Corin isn't the tallest person around, standing at five feet six inches, but at least he isn't the shortest, although it sometimes seems like it. In terms of build, he really doesn't look like much, being that he has a slender build that nears the line of being considered thin; it is clear he is not built for raw strength and durability, rather for speed and agility and precision. While not having a sturdy build, he is not as weak as he looks, he is rather like a dog of the sighthound breed or a cat, all slight build and lithe muscle possessing a fair amount of strength.
His black hair looks rather like a dark brown in good light, even with quite a few bright copper strands littered within the darker hair, which are most visible in direct sunlight; the coloring of his hair has always been a cause of debate for him, as he isn't sure whether his hair is actually black but lightens in bright enviroments or if it is actually dark brown but looks black in most circumstances. His hair is typically cut short, usually short enough that the top of his ears are covered by the ends of the hair. The young man has a fair skin tone, and there are several scars placed on his body, all easily hidden by clothing, and nothing too bad, training accidents mostly.
This male has pretty eyes, color-wise; the irises are colored a blue, cornflower blue to be specific. The lighter blue-gray hue perhaps has a tad more gray mixed in there than blue, but it is still an obivious blue, although not as clear or bright or vibrant as those with deeper blue eyes. They are of an almond shape when it comes to what the eye itself is shaped like. These light eyes are alert and sharp, almost wary at times; watching others carefully, either discreetly or blantantly. What he watches for, even he doesn't know sometimes, watching body language and actions and the people themselves. He watches people, no doubt about it; and the sharp look in his eyes can be hidden if he's trying to be less noticable, which can be fairly often.
He moves quietly, with a grace that is almost that of a cat's. His footfalls are very nearly inaudible on default, still being audible but better heard in less loud locations; and unless he's purposefully making his steps louder, then most people don't even hear him coming. He moves like this by both ingrained training and natural inclination. Something, or some things that the young man carries are not visible, but they are on his person nonetheless. He's almost always armed, carrying at least one knife on him at any given time. If he's not carrying throwing knives, then there'll be at least one small dagger or knife; though he typically tries to have a spare for the knife. He may or may not also carry a few intruments for picking a lock, while it may be a waste of time on some locks, he was taught to at least be prepared.
Personality:
This young man isn't the most bold, nor does he have the natural confidence and charisma of a leader; no, he is of a meeker disposition. He is not the most assertive being, not by a long shot, being of submissive personality, much to the dismay of his parents, he often defaults to letting others take the lead in most matters. Never the most outgoing nor bold nor the most outstanding, he is used to being dominated by those with stronger and more assertive personalities, used to backing down and avoiding conflict. As he has a meek disposition and is quiet to boot, with seemingly no outstanding character qualities, it is understandable that he is often overlooked by many, and has found himself a target for being picked on in the past.
But despite that, meekness isn't all of his personality. The young man has hidden steel in his spine, something not often seen by others, but he isn't always the complete doormat he comes off as; something that can come as a surprise to those around him. After all, he seems like a pushover, a coward, someone who only would back down every time when confronted; but he has a backbone, one not seen very much, but it's there. And he will show people that if he's pushed enough.
Even the most tolerant people have their limits, and Corin is no different. He can in fact be quite fierce when pushed too far, and he will fight. While obviously not an aggressive person usually, he can be a very fierce opponent when roused; either verbally or physically. This is a bit different from when he stands up for himself and shows he has a backbone, although one could consider him showing his fiercer streak and not backing down as one in the same, he is typically more aggressive when provoked to the degree of showing that ferocity. And while he doesn't make a habit of being loud when that happens, there is a dangerous air that surrounds him when his tolerence just snaps, something that says not to test him even further, a warning. After all, when the quiet ones are usually the most dangerous; and when the meek one gets aggressive, it's not something to be taken lightly.
He is the type to bottle up his emotions around others, and not show them unless in private; or unless it reaches a boiling point and he just cannot keep them under wraps anymore. Of course, his emotional control isn't iron clad and sometimes undesirable emotions can slip in front of people, like when he's nervous or such. While he isn't the most openly emotional person, he still does let emotions show, and so he isn't entirely cut off and doesn't appear cold. More on the reserved side maybe, but not entirely closed off. And of course, it can depend on the situation and his current mood.
While this young man does have some negative traits, such as his reluctance to stand up for himself and tendency to try and avoid conflict, he does have positive ones as well. For starters, he is and probably is many things, but oblivious or stupid is not any of them, he is an intelligent person, calculating or tactical in a way, and is capable of figuring stuff out on his own; and he is pretty observant, the slightest out of place movement or sound sends him on high alert, not too much gets past his attention.
There's something about Corin that is unmistakably dangerous. It's in the handling of a knife, how it is so easily twirled by deft hands or swiftly hurled at a target with unerring aim; in the slight tilt of his head, the too-sharp gaze as he watches someone or something; how the meekness and uncertainty slide right off him only to be replaced by confidence as he launches into an attack; present in the too quiet, too smooth, too practiced movements; in the shift in the air around him, the subtle change in his posture. While this side of him doesn't make an appearance too often normally, like the fierce streak that runs through him, it's there; and it's obvious that the young man is not all who he seems to be.
Dragon:
Open
Strengths & Weaknesses:
-Being underestimated-
This is perhaps his greatest strength, being underestimated. After all, he doesn't look like any special, other than weak, and his personality doesn't dissuade this. But no one expects him to be as good as fighting as he is, or to be more dangerous than they expected. It allows him to slip under the radar, and that in itself is dangerous. So indeed, the element of surprise and being underestimated work fantastically for him.
-Doesn't always speak up-
Listen, it's not his fault that he feels so nervous about speaking up about stuff sometimes, he just doesn't care for being the center of attention and he feels so awkward and hyperaware of his words. It feels like his entire body heats up suddenly once he says something, and it feels like he's sweating. It's just hard for him to speak up sometimes.
-Knife Skills-
He is scarily good with a knife, whether it is a throwing knife or small dagger or knife. It's clear he knows how to handle a blade, whether it is wielding it in combat or using it to skin an animal's pelt or even just idly twirling it. He's comfortable with a blade, and it shows.
-Size-
He is obviously smaller than a good amount of people, and while it can be considered a strength, it is also a weakness. Being slender and lighter in build, suited for speed and agility, it also means that he isn't the strongest in terms of physical strength.
-Combat- He is surprisingly good at fighting. While familiar with close combat, his fighting style tends to favor speed and precision rather than overwhelming strength, and seems to rely on staying out of a stronger opponent's grasp. It is an assassin's way of combat. Either way, he is a good fighter when he wants to be.
-Swords and heavy weaponry-
It should be obvious. Truly. He is not suited for heavier weapons, and he doesn't care for a sword, too unwieldy in his opinion, even though he does respect good swordmen.
-Training-
While there are many things that are not his forte, he has been taught quite a few things by his parents. His upbringing and training make him more prepared for things than, for example, a civilian. Nothing too extreme.
-Meek-
As he is more of a pushover than some people, he can accidentally make himself a target due to his unobstrusive or dominant personality. And just in general, it isn't the best impression to give to people.
Likes:
-The dark, it's always felt safe to him, comforting in a way. And in certain circumstances, he has a advantage in the dark.
-Being up high, interestingly, he has never had trouble with the heights. In fact he likes it, despite the knowledge that he could fall and die or get injured, it's never deterred him.
-Surprising people, it's the vindictive streak in him, the part of him that likes to see how people react when he does something that they don't expect from him, like actually having some fighting experience despite how he usually acts.
-Physical activity, he is normally an active person, and he enjoys letting out the pent-up energy. From climbing to sparring or even just straight out running. And he tends to sleep better when he's had some exercise, so it's good to do that so he doesn't end up taking an hour to get to sleep.
-Knives and blades, he likes them. Handy and usually easy to conceal, yes, he is biased because his main weapon of choice is a knife or dagger.
Dislikes:
-Emundare Mundum, other than obvious reasons of being apart of a rebellion against the group, he doesn't like the Emundare because of how radical it is; and his interest of dragons also plays a factor.
-Being talked down to, who does?
-Feeling trapped, this is less of a 'in a confined room' specific, but a more in general thing. Being pinned or held down, being cornered, or trapped in a very tight space all qualify. It's the general feeling of being trapped or confined.
-Arrogance, it never really looks good on anyone, and all the overly confident people he's met are typically jerks. It gets annoying being around them, really tests his limits.
-Not being able to sleep, when he wants to sleep but just can't, it can get aggravating.
-Improperly cared for weapon, it annoys him to see someone so blatantly being uncaring for their weapon. It just rubs him the wrong way, perhaps because of being taught proper maintence, or at least for the practicality of it. If someone uses a weapon, then the most they could do is keep it in working condition.
Backstory:
Corin was born and raised in the city of Onaron. Being that his mother was an assassin and his father a former mercenary, he was taught how to survive and basic combat from an early age. He was fairly young when the war ended, being between 8 and 9 years old at the time. His father died in an ambush while heading home from a sick family member's residence in Erast, old enemies who finally caught up to him, when Corin was twelve years; and his mother died a few years later in the aftermath of an assassination, downsides of living a life such as that, Corin was 17 years old and capable of living on his own. After a while of moving around, he heard of the rebellion, and joined.

╓═══════✬═══════╖ Rhys R. Redek ╙═══════ ♠ ═══════╜ Age: 19 years Gender: Male Appearance: Rhys takes pride in his hair, that's for sure. Constantly running a hand through it to fix it or commenting on it. His hair is less curly and more wavey at the roots, though towards the end it, it does start to curl slightly. And so he constantly has the messy hair look. His hair is also quite thick, though its length only reaches the back of his neck, and in the front, it ends right above his eyebrows in front of his face. It also covers the tops of his ears. The top is slightly longer than the bottom, allowing him to pull the tops of his hair into a small, spikey, ponytail, it is too short for much else. Now his hair color is blonde color, with warmer gold undertones making it appear shiny, and almost silky looking. An attractive feature of this young man. His hairline is not visible unless pulled back, and then you can see he has a slight widow's peak. Rhys stands at a taller height of 6' 2". His shoulders are broad but his build is not quite muscular, more so on the thin end. Though as of late he has strengthened immensely through the training Rhys has put himself through in order to prepare him for whatever the Emundare will through at him. Though rather than having a bulky figure he is a little lither and has an almost graceful, yet deadly appearance. Rhys is agile and graceful. Deadly and poised. His skin tone can be referred to as "golden" and has warmer undertones. He tans rather nicely and as a result, his skin darkens the more he is exposed to the sun, ending in a dark tan by the end of summer. This male doesn't have many noticeable birthmarks besides one rather large one he keeps hidden. It's not as noticeable as most, but it is as large as his hand and is right over his ribs, on the right side of his body. It is a lighter coloration of skin compared to the rest of him, that does not really tan, it stays more of a lighter white color though it is flat. If you were blindfolded and ran a hand over it you would be unable to detect it. It is less noticeable due to its coloration being neutral and similar to his skin, but he is rather self-conscious about it. Other marks he has included a few tiny moles scattered across his arms and face. A feature most people's attention goes to when first meeting this male is his eyes. The color is a stunning blue, and his iris is surrounded by pale flecks of icy blue, with a dark blue rim surrounding the edges of his iris. Rhys has slight feminine facial features, such as soft slightly angled brows sitting above his orbital rim, more comparable to that of women, without being completely feminine. His nose is narrow and shorter than that of your average man, though it is rather straight-looking. Now his cheekbones are also more prominent, though not in a way that gives his face a tight look, or one that makes him seem as if the sides of his face are overly hollow. Just more defined than your average person. This male's jawline is defined, enough to make someone double take without it having an unnatural feel, while his lips are full with a sharper cupid's bow. They appear to be a faint pinkish-red color. This male's scent can vary depending on the occasion, he can sometimes take on a more earthy scent. He can take on more exotic scents as well, due to some of the traveling around the city he does. Coming in contact with new spices, foods, and more, their scents lingering on him. Ultimately, he does not have a distinctive scent. Even if you cannot recognize his smell, you will be able to recognize his voice. His voice is deep and rich sounding. Personality: Rhys is a social being, enjoying the company of friends and acquaintances, though can be more reserved toward new faces. With convincing, a new person may be able to open him up more, but not enough to make him delusional or leave secrets unguarded. He tries to keep his private life, and his family guarded, he doesn't like to talk much about it. Rhys often finds himself having suspicions about new faces, he has been used before, so he won't be quick to completely open up to someone until he is confident he can trust them. His personality tends to attract all types of people, he is naturally a more flirty person, and he is somewhat aware of it and will occasionally put it to his advantage. Subtle comments or expressions, body position, and changes in focus all contribute to this. He keeps his “friends close, and his enemies closer”. In any event, those he doesn't particularly like but needs to get along with, he can whip out his charm, making him seem as if he is totally and completely interested in them. Though this can quickly turn if he starts to get annoyed, which will clearly be seen in his expression or tone of voice. He won't get physical over a disagreement. This male is an observant creature, picking up on verbal cues such as a change in voice, or physical cues such as a shift in stance or motion of the hand. He tries to be careful about the situations he puts himself in, however, his confidence may blindside him at times. Make a bet? If Rhys is confident he will double the stakes. Offer a duel? Let him grab his sword and he'll be there. Besides this, Rhys is rather intelligent, he enjoys studying dragons and strategizing, particularly for defensive, and offensive purposes. Battles and their endless possibilities of them fascinate him. He is quick to learn, tending to pick up on new techniques or skills particularly well. He becomes quite excited, taking rather faster and his deep voice becomes a pitch higher if he is extremely passionate about a subject. Rhys often uses his hands to talk as well, it helps him express how he is thinking. This rider gives off a confident air, though not in a way that suggests he is cocky or above anyone. His posture is rather good, holding himself high and up to his full height, his actions swift and sure. He tends to be bolder when masked, making moves he normally wouldn't if others knew who he was, such as more risky moves during battle or training. This also boosts his bravery, allowing him to loosen up and make his motions more fluid, allowing him a more accurate strike at his target. If not out at a gathering or with friends you can find Rhys in one of two places. The first is in some sort of training grounds, he is always looking to make himself better and increase his skills. The second is with his horse, whether he is riding alone or with his friends, a quick ride allows him to clear his mind and refocus. Though due to him being separated from his good friend, he will be found with his friends. The third is off studying somewhere, “sharpening his mind”, dragons fascinate him, and they are his favorite subject to learn about. His hatred of the Emundare is deep, and his love of dragons is great, so when he got word of the first dragon rider, he immediately started out to LaFord. With friends, you can find Rhys to be a rather outgoing person. He also tends to have more of a sarcastic side and does like a good joke. Roughhousing is a fun pastime of his, which includes putting his friends in friendly headlocks. His laugh is more high-pitched and just funny to hear. This rider is a trustworthy character, he is not one for gossip and will have your back if you have his. He can be stubborn at times, if he is passionate about a subject or convinced he is right there is hardly a soul that could sway him. Rhys is also quite protective of those he cares about, including family and friends. He will do all he can to protect them. Dragon: Open Affiliations: open Strengths/Weaknesses: Rhys has great swordsmanship, you could say he was "born with a sword in his hands", the motions come fluid and natural, and he has been practicing all his life. This is partially for defending himself and partially because his father grew up teaching him the art. He does enjoy horseback riding and is rather skilled at it, Rhys doesn’t know if any of this would translate into dragon riding. Rhys is also quite strong, relying on brute strength to get through some of the daily activities he enjoys. Rhys is a confident man, which may lead to his downfall in the end. He may take on challenges too large for him to face, putting him in dangerous situations. While he is good with a sword, he tends to struggle more with any hand-to-hand combat, he can hold his own, but not very well. Likes/dislikes: Good craftsmanship - He particularly likes working with wood, carving handles for daggers, and such. Though he prefers metals and stronger materials for swords that he would use in combat. He wants a job done right, and hates to see a job rushed. Horses - Particularly horseback riding, a skill he is working to perfect. Hunting expeditions and free-riding would be done on his horse. A stallion he named Altivo, though the horse is not in Laford, it is back home in Onaron. Dragons - This one is more obvious, he has been fascinated with them since he was little. Pointless conversation - If you are going to take up his precious time talking about the pattern of the clouds or how you just noticed that the woodchips surrounding the plants are a shade off their normal color, or some bullshit, he doesn't want to hear it. Tight spaces - The man likes his room. Backstory: Rhys was born in the Capital of Erast but shortly after his family moved to Onaron. He was between the ages of 9 and 10 when the ward ended and had spent most of his life living during that time of war, though this did not stop his fascination with dragons. Rhys father was taken hostage by the Emundare, for suspected rebellion, leaving Rhys with only his mother. He got wind of the rebellion, and dragons, and seeking justice for his father he left to join it. Rhys does not know whether or not his father is alive. Name:
Azar
"Fire"
Age:
350 years Gender: Male
Class:
Helvede
Appearance:
This dragon stands at an impressive height of 20 feet at the shoulder, a height that marks him as one of the taller specimens of his class. In terms of build he is pretty balanced, with a athletic but lithe frame that allows for both strength and agility in equal measure, he appears neither bulky nor rangy, and is capable of keeping up with the faster dragons and tangling with the stronger ones. He has a large wingspan, the length of them from wingtip to wingtip measure longer than the length of his body from tailtip to snout; and they help him in the air, whether simply flying or dodging and wheeling in combat.
This male is perhaps what one would imagine in coloration of a Helvede dragon; resplendent in scales the color of fire. Something unusual is that it seems that he does not have a specific base color, as varying shades of oranges and reds and yellows bloom across his body, blending into a rather eye-catching mix; the result being that, especially in movement, the scales give an appearance of flame. An unusual illusion of a fluctuation of the hues of fire that dance on his scales. While he may look like fire incarnate with the shifting shades of warmth upon his body, the flux of color is a coincidence, a byproduct of his coloration, and the reason for his name when he first came into the world. The membrane of his wings carry the same coloration, except for one thing: among the warm hues of flame, is a deep purple. Most present along the edges of his wings, roughly two feet from the edges inward, then it fades out to the shifting reds and yellows and oranges of his coloration.
Azar has several horns, the six most promient ones are arranged in a group of three on either side of his head; the two longest ones are placed at the top of his head, they travel away from his head and then gain a slight curve upward at the ends; the two second horns are about level with his eyes, they are shorter than the first ones by a noticable degree, taking the same path away from his head that gently tipping up at the tips; and the third ones, the smallest ones are actually hard to spot on him in some angles, not even close to the length of the four other horns, they are barely more than slightly protruding nubs located on the jawline. Alongside the most promient ones, there is an arrangement of smaller ones spiking up inbetween the larger ones like a crown. The color of his horns is a deep reddish-brown, the color of mahogany, a dark brown that has quite a lot of red tinting it to the distinctive shade. Standing out from the dark brown, only really visible in the four longest horns, are thin streams of a rich gold twining around the horns, which in the sunlight, seem light up with a vivid, warm color, this coloration brings some brighter hues to his horns, and in truth is quite pretty. His sharp claws are the same way, the same warm brown with traces of molten gold. The color of his eyes is a fiery amber, a bit darker than the brighter pieces of amber, and more on the orange side.
This young dragon gives the impression of regality and fire; from his vivid coloration to the crown of gold-laced horns, to his powerful build to the wide wingspan, and in the way he holds himself with a head held up and a confident manner. He cuts a figure of both power and a certain elegance, no doubt about it, Azar is definitely an impressive dragon, and appearance-wise a great representative of the Helvede class.
Personality:
First off, true to the Helvede dragons, Azar is a more aggressive creature. Quicker to rise in response to a challenge and just as quick to challenge in return; his nature is as fierce and defiant as the flame which he can control, and as apparent as the color of his scales. He is not a passive dragon, after all what can you expect from a creature of fire? He is not the most friendly dragon around, he is wary of strangers and his quick-tempered nature certainly do not help, as he is more prone to snapping at someone or even baring his teeth at them. He is not afraid to voice his opinions, he will speak his mind, and honestly won't care how others make of it; and he has no qualms with making himself heard either.
This dragon is on the territorial side, it's how he is, as a dragon of the Helvede class. This protectiveness applies to those he considers friends, which technically would be considered part of his territory, and also to objects and his space. He doesn't like dragons intruding in his space, typically a spot he has chosen to sleep or exist in, while unlikely he would attack someone for coming into his territory uninvited, at least, as a first reaction, he definitely would not be pleased. When it comes to living beings, he is not overly-protective or possessive, because he knows that he cannot treat an intelligent being as an object, that just is a jerky move in his opinion, but his instincts sometimes argue otherwise. But he can ignore those instincts, sometimes, if the person in question comes close to being injured, especially fatal or near-fatal injured, he will be more territorial over that individual for a bit. Now Azar is stubborn. If he doesn't want to do something, then he will not do it, and he will let whoever is in charge know. He is a willful creature, and it can sometimes get him into trouble with authority or those older than him; while his persistance to something can be a boon, it can also be a weakness, especially when applied to how he interacts with others. It can be a frustrating thing to try and get convince him to do something that he doesn't want to do. And the thing with him is that if pressed to change his stance on the topic, if he refuses to do something and is given an order to do it, then that only makes him rebel harder and it has the high chance of rousing his anger. Typically, if the plan is mostly sound, and if given a little time to cool off, then he will likely see the sense in that course of action and will concede the point, as much as he doesn't like to. Now, keep in mind he isn't always that stubborn, he usually knows when and how to listen to instructions given by one older and more experienced than he; and he typically knows when to press the issue and when to back off a little bit. So his default isn't always to push back against an order, not always. It usually goes better if he respects and trusts the leader.
There is a certain type of confidence that this dragon has, unlike the rest of him, it is a quiet thing, unlike the loud arrogance that many young creatures possess. He is confident in his abilities and skills, and is aware of the limitations; he knows that he can take care of himself, he can hold his own in a fight in air or on land, and he is powerful.
Another thing about Azar is that he is alert, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious and listening for anyone coming up on him. The humans are particularly annoying, in his opinion, they can be harder to spot sometimes being so small. But nevertheless, even when relaxed, he is still occasionally glancing around his surroundings.
This dragon is very loyal when it comes down to it. He is the type to go to the ends of the earth for those he trusts, and will stand b their side no matter what; once his trust is earned of course, and him being on the more cautious side with those he doesn't know, it can take a little bit or extreme circumstances for him to trust someone else. He is definitely a worthy ally: faithful and intelligent, and with powerful capabilities; and definitely is a horrible enemy to make.
Rider:
Open
Abilities:
This Dragon class is ancient, one of the first 4 core classes, and therefore the most powerful. The Dragon controls fire with the mind. Allowing fire to appear in the blink of an in eye in any amount they choose. The flame color gives off a bluish-violet hue. They can withstand the hottest hot temperatures made by mankind, they cannot be killed by fire. Excellent flyers.
Strengths & Weaknesses
-Cold temperatures-
He is unluckily, the most suspectible to the cold. And does not do well in cold weather
-Flight-
Despite his size, Azar is a strong flyer. Being of the Helvede class, he is an excellent flyer like the rest of his kind; he is able to manuever well and is quite swift. While not able to soar quite as high as other classes can, he can get quite high before it becomes truly hard to breathe.
-Fire ability-
This is a strength and weakness, the energy depletion is what makes it a weakness, along with the risk of death if the fire is too sustained and/or fierce. It is very draining if he uses the fire for too long, or makes the flame fierce, typically both.
-Fire resistance-
This is a good advantage. As he cannot be killed via fire, and is able to tolerate the highest temperatures, this means that there are some things he can do that other dragon classes cannot.
-Bright coloration-
A downside to his coloration, is that he is not very inconspicuous. He is not suited for stealth, and the fire-toned scales prove it; very bright, very attention-grabbing.
-Energy-
Helvede dragons' fire ability is directly connected to their energy, he has to keep up his strength in order to be able to use it without fear of pushing himself too far.
-Balanced-
In terms of capability and build, Azar is pretty balanced. Not lacking in the physical strength department, and not clumsy by any means. Of course, smaller dragons can manuever much better than he, and larger ones are stronger than he is.
Likes:
-Warmth: No wonder, considering his class. He enjoys sunning himself in the sunlight, and is just attracted to warmer areas than cooler ones.
-Flying, he really likes to just fly for the thrill of it. He enjoys plummeting from the heights and taking a look from above. And he feels safe up in the skies, humans cannot sneak up on him and it's harder to appear unnoticed.
-Having his own space, as with many territorial dragons, he prefers to have his space.
-Combat, to an extent. But the thrill of battle is envigorating, and he just likes it in a way, not that he's going to purposefully go out and fight someone for no reason.
-Food, for one, he needs to keep his energy level up for his fire ability and eating is a good way to maintain that. And most living things like to eat, and he is no exception.
Dislikes: -Humans, while he doesn't outright hate them, after all he can see good qualities in them; he just...doesn't care for them right now, especially with the whole war and group wanting dragons dead.
-Territory being intruded upon, he is a territorial dragon and unless he lets someone into the space he considers his territory, then he will not be happy about others on his turf.
-The cold, which is a given, seeing as how badly he does in cold temperatures.
-Being disrespected, that is a surefire way to get on his bad side.
-The feeling of being trapped, really, who likes being stuck or trapped somewhere?

Lightbringer
|
Name: Viatrix
"Voyager"
Age:
299 years
Gender:
Female
Class:
Kuling
Appearance:
In terms of height, Viatrix isn't the tallest nor the smallest dragon around, at 18 feet at the shoulder, it's a good height. Now this dragoness is built for speed and agility and endurance, and her build reflects this; with a serpentine frame, she is more slender and almost lanky in build. Everything above her is sleek and lithe, and definitely not made for brute strength; with narrow shoulders and a lanky body, she also is lighter than a good amount of dragons, again, due to her build. Her wings are large, when stretched out to their full length, her wingspan doubles the length of her body.
In coloration, Viatrix is primarily a blue with light purple shading. Her base color is the color of the sky, a shade that is not as pale as the light morning skies, yet not as deep as the evening sky; she falls in around azure, the bright, rich color of the sky at noon time. There is little color variation of this blue, although her underbelly is a slightly paler shade of blue. All over her scales and wing membrane, is a dusting of light purple; in some places, the purple is scarcer and the blue is more easily visible. But for the most part, the overlay of purple is not heavy, whether due to the light shade of the hue combined with the bright blue, or simply because of coloration, it is clear that she is a primarily a blue dragon, but with a thing covering of purple. Her eyes are like a polished stone of lapis lazuli in coloration, a deep blue hue, with flecks of gold scattered within the iris.
She has two horns, one on either side of her head, pointing backwards and as pale and silver as the moon. In shape, these horns have a gentle spiral.
Personality:
While Viatrix does not have a reptuation for being aggressive of voliatile, she typically will not let others step all over her or her loved ones, she will bite back if she has too, and will do the same to friends if they let themselves be insulted. While it is usually not the first thing that occurs to her, she is definitely fight if she has to, in her own way of course; she is not the best in the brute strength department, but she can contribute to an attack. From the air. She is never needlessly aggressive or defensive, and can be counted on to present a calm -or calmer- perspective of events.
Which, while on the topic, there's another trait of hers. She is on the more calmer side of things, and while willing to fight back, it takes a bit to actually make her mad. Not irritated or peeved, but truly mad; and even then, her anger is sharp and cold and cutting like the winds of winter. Anyways, she is harder to truly rile, while acting obnoxious or in her opinion, stupid or impulsive, will most likely earn a sharp word from her, it isn't a sign that she is actually angry. Her calmer demeanor is often a good thing, the eye of the storm one might say. Another thing, is that this dragoness is on the more aloof side, coming off as cold as a winter storm, and just as distant as the stars that appear in the night sky; she may be polite, and even downright friendly if in the right mood for socalization, but at her core, she is the type to be a little distance from the general group, still close enough if needed and to soak up the sounds and sights of those she trusts around her, but far enough so that she isn't in the thick of things. One may gather that she is cautious, while a good judge of when to be shy and when to be bold, when to act quickly and when to hang back to observe, she is doubtlessly cautious. Being less manueverable on the ground than other dragon classes, and lacking the power to ward off major threats, she naturally has learned to be less reckless in most of her endeavours; after all, an injured wing and she's a sitting duck, and she can't go head-to-head in combat against a good amount of dragons, so she has to be wary of what she gets herself into.
Viatrix is an independent thing, self-reliant. She is like the wind in this regard, unable to be chained down -at least, for long- and as untameable as the element she does so well in. She prefers to do things herself, and can a bit huffy if she has to ask for help in most circumstances, in a few situations though, she can be glad for the help, not too often though.
While typically she presents a calm personality, it doesn't mean she has to be nice sometimes. Her tongue is sharp as a blade, and just as cutting; if she sees fit to snap at someone, she will. If given a sarcastic or disrespectful remark, then she will return the favor. She can be critical, especially if caught in a bad mood, but at least one thing about her is that she isn't inclined to judge someone's capability by appearance, at least, not verbally. She isn't the nicest personality to ever exist, but she isn't the worst or most hostile either, sometimes. Typically she falls into the impression of polite but aloof when others meet her.

Abilities:
This dragon is a descendant of the next generation, more specifically Lyn class, they are not as powerful as their parents though still hold value. Kuling class finds it easier to breathe at high altitudes and are the best flyers out of the dragons due to greater endurance and speed. Their wings can send gusts powerful enough to break a tree, and instead of blowing fire breath, they release high-speed winds from their mouth.
Strengths & Weaknesses
-Flight-
This is a obvious strength, dragons of the Kuling class are the best fliers out of all the dragon classes, and Viatrix is no exception to this. -Uncoordinated-
It's strange how she can be so graceful in the air, yet so awkward on the ground, but it's true. She is at her weakest on the ground, where most opponents hold the advantage over her. Though she can still move around on the ground, it isn't her preference.
-Wind/air ability-
Another strength is the wind she can release from her mouth, while not arguably as dangerous as fire, it still is a strength in its own right
-Aloof-
Her personality may not come off as the ideal team player, and she can be easily seen as aloof and cold.
-Endurance-
While she doesn't look like it, or maybe she does, she is capable of great endurance.
-Being in water-
She is horrible in water, like, large bodies of water, like the ocean or sea or a deep lake. She just panicks whenever she somehow finds herself in deep bodies of water, and it's very likely that she would drown because of it, although if another dragon gets her out or if she manages to get out of the water then she'll be entirely fine Likes:
-Beef, she likes the taste of it.
-Maturity and sensibility
-Having alone time
-Having friends, those she can trust around
-Storms, she likes the sight and sound of storms for some reason, and besides, she gets a kick out of flying in storms
-Wind, more like the feeling of wind when she's flying, or just being there.
-Petrichor, the scent before and after a rain in the forest is very pleasant
-Solving things on her own, as mentioned before, she is independent and likes to solve her own problems.
Dislikes:
-Being on the ground-
Safe to say, she does not care to be on the ground very much. Too vulnerable. Her strength lies in her flight, not in being grounded.
-Small or inclosed area. For a dragon of the air, being contained or even in a smaller area is hell, limited range of movement for one thing, and other stuff too.
-Emundare Mundum, for obvious reasons
-Overly friendly personalities, or those who don't know how to mind their business
-Impulsivity
-Extreme heat or cold, she can deal with the heat and has great cold tolerence, but extremes are never fun to deal with.
