Appearance:  When looking at this female you noice her dark golden fur. With her underbelly being lighter and her having splashes of white or cream on her chest and around her neck. She also has lighter strands of hair on her neck as well. The tip of her tail is charcoal black. On her body is a fair amount of healed scars, some small and unnoticeable- while one or two may stand out more than others. They all have different stories some from accidents, a too rough sparring session, or maybe a mishap with a hunt. Other than that it tells of her experience and age. This female stands at 3.7 feet tall and weighs in around 280 to 300 pounds. So she'd be considered a medium sized lioness with her body being a well-balanced mixture of power and speed. This size gives her the advantage and helps her be an excellent huntress and one you could rely on in a hunt. Her body is muscular and a tad bit lean but their is a slight broadness to her shoulders - she has long limbs that help her gracefully move around and move swiftly. Thought she'd be consider smaller than some lionesses, she's still one you want to count in on a fight because she can be quick and agile. This female has what can be described as beautiful and eye catching amber eyes. The colors being a beautiful mixture of yellow and orange with the brown giving her eyes a pretty honied look. Her eyes can grow bright and appear bright like gold in certain light or a dark honey when upset or annoyed. Her eyes are expressive and a window into her soul. This female walks with grace and elegance, with her head high and posture always in tact. Her voice can be described as a bit raspy, but not overly so - it has that certain feminine charm to it and command and catch the attention of others. Her scent is akin to that of desert flowers and the salty sea  Personality: The first noticeable thing about this female is the air that surrounds her. The air of confidence and power - the way she walks in a room and it commands attention and respect. The way she walks with the grace and confidence of a well-mannered dame, her posture and body is never lacking and you will never catch her slipping. She holds her head high with almost always a stern or serious expression on her face - one would assume that she is some snobby brat by the way she looks and holds herself. However, this isn't the case - yes she has a very high standard for how she would like things to go and she is confident in herself, but not to the point of arrogance. She speaks with elegance and class, always holding herself in a prim and proper manner, you will never even see a fur on her head because she make sure it will not show. Her words are always charming and ladylike - her voice brimming with confidence and daintiness, she can speak with flowery speech. Being able to drive hard bargains and negotiate very effectively, also has a knack for catching people off guard with her intelligence - not to mention she is able to verbally psychoanalysis a person with pinpoint accuracy after being with them for even just an hour or few hours at most. This woman is wickedly intelligent. Able to take in and soak even the littlest pieces of information to make an accurate deduction. She is also intrigued and enthralled by intelligence - strategizing and coming up with plans of action and carrying them out being her specialty. She is quite opinionated, even if she doesn't regularly give or express her opinion on serious subjects - however if asked she will comfortably be able to give an answer. She loves learning, knowledge is power to her and she makes sure to make the most of it. After all, what's the use of having a brain if she doesn't use it to the best of her ability. This female also can be cunning and manipulative when needed, she's the one you call if you want revenge - she knows how to play with people's strings just the way she needs to get what she needs or wants. She can be the sweetest charmer, a chaste female, or a temptress, or if you try her the most venomous serpent. Her words are her weapon and she knows how to affectively use them, she tells people what they want to hear and lets it go from them - not necessarily outright lying by a half-truth if you will. However she is able to weave and concor stories on a whim. She knows how to be shrewd and play her cards right, especially with enemies. She's witty and sharp - and anyone who doesn't know that about her or underestimates her will find themselves at her mercy. This woman has a very protective and motherly nature. Cubs are her weakness even though she won't admit it. She may have a scowl on her face when seeing children, or derogatorily call them "little goblins" because of their outrageous behavior at times - however she is definitely a sucker for their big, innocent eyes and the dumb and cute things they do. She is the one to become attached to a cub and name herself their wine drinking auntie . Once she claims a cub - they are under her protection and she protects with a vengeance. She may be ladylike but she's not above getting down and dirty with the parent of the cub who hurt her honorary niece or nephew. And she's also the one to teach her nieces how gaslight males and other cubs when needed and she also teaches them how to go for the jugular in a fight, and for her boys she does the same - along with teaching them the ways of treating a female right. She is protective of her friends and family and will not take any threat towards them lightly. She will protect them with a vengeance. This female is able to take charge when needed. And she is an excellent communicator and is able to work with others well. This woman listens, and observes others very well, able to be very perceptive and reads people like an open book. She's able to quickly deduce a lie and pick out the weak from the strong, and know who she should ally herself with. She also is a hard worker, give her a small task or small job and she will find a way to it better than it has been done. She's ambitious and knows her worth - she won't settle for being at the bottom rung of a ladder, while she's not one to actively destroy her competition or get in the way of others, everyone has a point they are pushed to. Only when she's desperate would she ever use such cutthroat methods to get what she wants, otherwise she's an honest worker who will use her talent and abilities to get where she needs. It's quite honestly scary how she can turn this fearsome side to her with a flip of the switch, and it's quite rare that she has to use it but she views it as a good thing. If people think that she doesn't have such a dark and side - then it's easier to get to them and also shows them she's not one to be trifled with. This female can be described as the pure definition of an introvert and extrovert. She is sociable and doesn't mind going out and having fun with others. She actually enjoys going on outings and fun adventures and such, however she has her limit. She can be charming and kind with others for a while, and that's until her "social battery" begins draining. When it starts to drain she loses her excited tone and becomes more silent and quiet, and starts lurking around the back - she's also a bit more irritated and possibly sarcastic and snippy with her words. The only way to fix this is to get her to leave the place and take her home, she'll need to recharge with some alone time. And maybe just maybe - a small amount of company when she gets bored. He's too young to understand it entirely. However, his little eyes noticed everyone's opinions towards the new regime varied. Appearance:
 The first thing you'll notice about this cub is his unusual white coat. Mostly everywhere on his tiny body is a pale color if you exclude his nose bridge. Kamari's bridge on the nose is a darker white, possibly gray. The tuft on his tail, as you guessed, is also colorless. With his lighter coat, you'll notice the scars on his body. A noticeable one is teeth marks around his neck from what he sees as a rough play session, which he received from a nomadic male when he was younger. Don't ask for more information, as Kamari is too young to remember. Well, he was grateful for one lioness that managed to save him. Upon closer inspection, if you were to ignore the scaring, you'll see thick fur forming, a sign that he's developing his mane. Kamari's height is that of an average female's shoulder, maybe slightly taller. His weight is estimated to be 170lbs, but it's steadily increasing the more he ages. He's an average-sized cub, perhaps a bit larger, but nothing too noticeable. His muscles are there, but they're not as visible compared to the adults. It's unclear if he's more skilled in hunting or fighting due to his younger age, yet he's shown signs of being decent at both. He spars with any willing lionesses if they're no other cubs around, helping him train in hunting and fighting. Kamari's body is well-fit compared to the other cubs, broader and leaner-the perfect balance for strength and speed. His limbs are slightly beyond normal, giving him a reach advantage when playing hunting or fighting. Kamari is an adorable cub with soft, white fur and unusual light blue eyes. As usual, for lions with recessive white genetics, the young cub's coat is white with little to no other colors detectable. His eyes are not your casual gold. It's a mesmerizing blue that matches the color of the sky. While walking, Kamari's steps are highly expressive, showing off this young male's hyperness and playful nature. Sometimes he trips over his paws due to miscalculations in his steps. The male's tone is soft and cheerful, and when he speaks, it'll lighten your heart filled with sorrow or make a smile appear on your muzzle. He radiates a peculiar amount of happiness that is contagious. Lastly, Kamari's scent is that of an African Lily, a sweet fragrance and easy on the nose.

Nakisisa, at first, was hesitant about the changes in the pride, but he still served the monarchs honorably. Over time, his feelings towards the new changes increased positively, seemingly agreeing with the new queen and decreasing tension within the pride. He isn't as verbal with his opinions as others, but he still adds his thoughts into the mix if needed. Appearance: What could be the first thing that brought your gaze to him? Could it be his coat? Nakisisa's coat is a dark brown, like, a very dark brown color. Or perhaps, it could be the mud and dirt he gathered during his significant patrol time. The color of his underbelly is hard to see, as he has thick underfur covering most of it. Nothing too distinct about the looks on his body, but his face is a whole different story. His face has patches of white, which sticks out from his darker base coat. Color tinges around his pinkish-black nose, muzzle, and chin. Somewhat covered by his mane are his cheeks, correction, his slightly white cheeks. Under his lower eyelids are tiny streaks of white. Nakisisa's tail tuft is charcoal, but the tip of it is white. His body is covered in scars from patrol jobs he takes, either fighting young males looking to take over or chasing off rival prides out of the territory. Now, for the second thing that stands him out from the pride. He's large, which is needed to defend those that can't fight for themselves. Nakisisa is 4.5 feet in height and weighs 565lbs. The perfect body for a sturdy fighter. However, he lacks speed and agility, being a mediocre runner and hunter, especially. If you need someone on the frontlines to distract the invading foes- then he's the lion for you. His body is intensely muscular and bulky, with each movement he makes causing the muscles to ripple under his darkened fur. Nakisisa's limbs are stocky and average-lengthed. Nothing too astonishing about them. They're apparent, and it's an intimidating sight to behold. Currently, he's the largest among the male lions, but it doesn't mean it's a good thing. Time for the scars, and yes, there's a whole lot. His fur is patchy and coarse due to poor healing from his many injuries. Some of the wounds overlapped each other. Thanks to his compacted mane, it was hard to leave deep injuries on his throat and the back of his neck, only leaving small scars hidden underneath the thickened fur. Healed or healing injuries dotted all four legs, mostly claw and bite marks from fellow lions. His tail is crooked from a conflict years ago, a large bitemark hovering over the spot where it's broken. Naki's ears are far from safe, with his ears torn and scarred from his many battles in defending his pride's territory. Claw marks on his right eye from an angry lioness when he rejected her, and another claw mark on the bridge of his nose by a jealous male that liked the rejected lioness. Being an older male in his prime, Mandlenkosi is a large lion, standing at a 4.4 feet tall with a heavy weight of 560 lbs normally, though he's lost a bit since being on his own recently, putting him at 545-550 right now. Since he's only been on his own for a short period of time, the male is still quite bulky and has been capable of bullying other animals from left over kills. The large feline is muscular, with a wide and bulky build. Large paws leave deep indents in the loose soil as he walks, having paws like shovels. He has a set of wide shoulders and a muscular chest, with narrower hips. Kosi's got a large, wide head, which signals his age, and sides that are taut with muscle.
Kosi's coat is not the standard golden, tawny color, instead he is more of a darker tan color with a very obvious hue to it. His underbelly is a lighter, creamy color that covers his belly, the insides of his legs, and up his neck to his chin. His mane is large, definitely something befitting a monarch male. It starts at the top of his head, carrying down his neck, over his shoulders and down his chest before it ends just passed his shoulders and trailing down his belly. It's thick and robust, much like his build in general, the hair lower on it being quite coarse, whereas it's softer around his face. His dense mane offers protection to him from attacks, but it's a bit patchy from a recent fight he had, though it's growing back in. His mane starts off as blonde and darker red brown around his face, before darkening to black as it goes down his neck.
Besides his size and coloration, the one thing that stands out about Mandlenkosi is the sheer amount of scars on his body, both old and new. Having been a former king of a pride, he spent years defending it from other lions and predators that threatened it. There aren't many that are noteable, however, the sheer volume of them is. His entire body is bumpy and rough from scars, but it's the new ones on his body, red hued and puckered with anger, that stand out. The cover his frame, harshly clawed and bitten in over the other scars on his body. There are several claw marks on his sides, hips, and legs, with bite marks following suit around his neck and in his mane. There are several bite marks on his back and hips, and one on his front leg that lets him walk with a limp right now.
Kosi's voice is a deep basso, slightly raspy from age, but still something that can be pleasing when spoken in the right tone. His eyes are a bright, slightly faded, golden color. His scent is something musky but ashy, subtly pleasing but easily indentifiable.

Mandlenkosi is not at all the male he was when he was leading his pride, now he's mostly just a shell of the male he was. Stoic and almost reserved, it's very hard to get a read on the male when encounering him. He doesn't show emotions easily, keeping himself guarded physically and emotionally. It's highly unlikely that anyone, let alone a stranger, could decipher his motives and emotions just by looking at him or even talking to him. It would take time and plenty of careful observation to determine anything about the male. This is partially because he is slow to trust now, but also because he just doesn't care a whole lot anymore.
Unlike younger males or other lion in general, Kosi isn't the type to beat around the bush or hint at things. Instead he does everything and speaks in a very direct manner, sometimes coming off as abrasive or callous because of this. He doesn't sugar coat or anything, however, he tends to be quite reserved, not exactly quiet where he is shy, but he only speaks or communicates when he finds the necessity. He doesn't bother to entertain himself, or others, with frivolous things. His harsher and more critical temperment can cause him to ruffle the fur others, however, it's important to remember he wasn't always this way. He's merely a whisper of who he was, and periodically the image of who he was breathes back into existence before fading once again.
Still, he is a dedicated and loyal subject, someone who whole heartedly supports those he is loyal to completely. Their struggles are his, their problems are his, and their fights are his. That's how it was in his former pride, and that still rings true in the male today. Of course, he has no one now, but if he found someone he bonded with, he'd have their back all of the way, no matter what. Is he a bit gruff? Sure. However, the male is someone you'd want on your side in the toughest of times, as he is resilient and not the type to give up. Which is why he hasn't given up despite losing everything that was important to him.
Now, Kosi is not of superb intelligence, falling in at more average. However, the one thing he truly has going for him is his experience. His years of experience allows him to apply that to his decision making and choices, able to fall back on it when needed. Even so, though, the male is incredibly damaged, inside and out, and is quite wary and cautious of others. This jaded nature does have it's faults, however, because it does make him quite wary, he is more observant to things he might not have been to before. Is he still aggressive and explosive at times? Of course. However, he doesn't just rush into things head first anymore, he takes his time, only rushing in to fight when he finds it necessary.
Overall, realy, he's not at all who he used to be, but when the cards are down, he's someone you'd want on your side.
History:
Kosi has a history that is relatively normal for the most part, at least in the beginning. He was born into his natal pride, before eventually leaving it at shortly after 2 years old. Having been a large lion even at that age, his pride felt it was better for him to leave early, the king viewing him as a potential threat since he was getting on in age. Kosi has no desire to take over, but he left with his dignity nonetheless.
He traveled on his own for about a year or so, but eventually found a pride of lionesses all close to him in age with an elderly male at their helm. He decided to challenge the male, and beat him in contest for the pride, but spared the male's life as chased him off instead. He even went so far as to spare the male's cubs, raising them as best he could like they were own, and eventually fathering his own within the pride.
For years he lead the pride successfully, helping to grow them and let them thrive under his protection. He loved his pride, and they loved him, but, unfortunately, all good things come to an end. After almost four years as the King of his pride, a coalition of younger males drove him out of his territory, nearly killing him in the process. He had fought his hardest, but he was out numbered, and therefore, out done by them. He can only imagine what the males have done to his pride and his cubs, but he isn't in any condition to turn back and try and do something about it. So now, he is merely trying to move on, healing both physically and mentally in the process.
All he desires now, is to be on top again, or, at least, close to it.

Here are my little scenarios for the male: Evil With Heart of Gold
He's what others considered the biggest disdain for the pride, as he handles the more grim tasks for the sake of the pride. If they're useless/not benefiting the kingdom, or proven as traitors, he kills them or banishes them. The other's opinions towards him are negative, but he doesn't mind (externally), and he does care about them to an extent. Even with such a disturbing task, he's fiercely loyal to his pride. Sweet But Would Kill
This one appears to be harmless, and a male you can hang beside without worry. However, some take advantage of his seemingly harmless nature, unaware that he will kill you if you insult him too much. He gets along with everyone (well, mostly everyone), as such gained gossip/rumors that are happening within the pride. Using such info as blackmail or reporting possible traitors to the king and queen. Might betray them, might not.
