Fake Mortal Name: Avan Muga Tauekel.
Godly Name(s): Thato-Mu.

Chronological Age: Unknown.
Gender(s): Primarily Male, also has a Genderless form and Female form though.

Sexuality: As if he could stick to a label. It’s best to assume he’s probably Pansexual and Polyamorous though.

“If you can’t win, there’s no shame in folding and waiting for a better hand. If you want, I can get you one.”
Personality:
The first thing someone needs to realize about him is that he’s intense. Unfortunately, most mortals don’t notice until it’s a bit too late to go back. It isn’t their fault though, in all honesty. He’s actually very tricky and manipulative. As far as first impressions go; he tends to come off as a charming, generous, and sincere man. A lie, almost completely so.
--
The most surprising thing to him would be someone who can see through him immediately, after all. Especially when he tends to be like a social chameleon, shifting his outward personality to fit what those around him want. Finding out what people want out of life, of those around them, and of themselves, are some of the things he’s best at. And once you know those things, changing to reflect what someone could be able to call a best friend is rather easy.
--
Being a social chameleon isn’t all good though, especially for someone like him. As he often gets caught up in what he’s doing, too passionate about his games to notice. Getting caught up in being someone you’re not isn’t a good way to remain true to yourself, after all. One of his greatest strengths makes him feel just as out of touch as some of his biggest weaknesses. If not more. And being able to change yourself tends to make you more aware of how others might change themselves around you, make you more aware of the fake people in your life. Which is certainly true for him. Though it also just causes him to think that everyone is just as fake as he is. A rather cynical point of view, one that has been reinforced over the years. For every ‘real’ person he’s met, there’s been at least two obviously fake ones. Fake ones that don’t even try to pretend, or just aren’t good at it. Unfortunately for him, he is good at it. And sometimes even he can’t tell when he’s being real or fake.
--
A master manipulator, as some that have seen his somewhat two faced nature would call him. A bastard or narcissist by others who’ve seen it. He prefers the terms intense and fun. What’s life without risk? What does it matter if he’s fake if it gets him the attention that he deserves and loves? What does it matter if he’s fake if it gives attention and the deepest desires made true to those who need it most? Of course, his views on who qualifies are a bit jaded, screwed, and twisted.
--
He’s more likely to help out a homeless thief than he is to help a struggling family, after all. The thief is just so much more interesting! How is he supposed to ignore the drama? As if. As such, he’s also not one to ignore heartfelt pleas. Especially if they’re made with a desire for gain- Material and personal, especially. He always puts a cost with his help though, in the small print.
--
This is about when people realize his intensity. After they’ve made the mistake of taking him up on an offer and then forgot to read the small print that he left behind. Because the small print becomes effective immediately, and it’s always something that pushes the deal far more into his favor than it would ever be for them. And he’s not one to simply not flaunt about that. Not like they can break the contract after it’s been signed, after all.
--
Even more than this though, his flirtatious nature is obvious too. Anyone who catches his interest will find a charismatic fellow making simple, smooth advancements. Twisting people up and around his finger even in love, he seems to view it the same way he views his contracts and subjects. A way to have fun. He’ll take lovers on fantastical dates, pay all their expenses, make them love him… And then leave after a week, watching their hearts break and shatter. Commitment is a struggle for him in those respects.
--
Not that he doesn’t love those people though. He just has a deep-rooted fear of abandonment and attachment that end up getting in the way of relationships. Especially when his longer ones almost always end badly. For everyone involved. He’s better at short lived, intense, fun relationships that last a month or two at the maximum.
--
But enough sadness! He doesn’t like thinking about all of that, it makes him feel like shit. Which he doesn’t like feeling like, for the most part. He’d much rather live in the present anyways, that’s where everything’s happening! Planning for the future and living in the present have basically always been one in the same for him. It’s looking back on the past that he can’t stand doing. Why should he regret anything? It’s already been done and he can’t change it! And besides, the moments were fun. Isn’t that what matters? That he’s having fun in his immortal lifetime?
--
Ah, but it feels like too much time has been spent forcing on how he’s actually like and not enough time has been spent on how he’s perceived by the majority. By those who haven’t yet realized his intensity… He’s charming, polite, and sincere. He’s careful, every step and word planned before he ever says it. He comes off as cunning but sincere, charismatic yet pure. His teeth bared in a twisted grin that just as easily comes off as a sympathetic smile. Practiced, disciplined, calm, and yet just intriguing enough to keep a mortal’s attention without much fail. If any at all, really. And if it does, then that’s probably planned too.
--
By deities who have seen his intensity or have dealt with him before though? He’s seen in an almost completely different light. As a narcissistic, manipulative bastard who only cares for himself. Which is only partially true. Because he is manipulative, there’s no doubt about it. He knows how to play the game, how to rig it into his favor. And he’ll often play against those who don’t know the game at all. He preys on them; the naive, pure, trusting, and innocent. The ones who don’t play the game. More than them though, he’ll prey upon those that think they know the game. Those are the true fun ones to toy with. To see the expressions of as they realize that they never had the upper hand.
--
To him, life is his house and everyone else in life is his guest, and the guests never win. But this doesn’t mean he’s to the point of only caring about his own goals. He’s close, but he’s not entirely there. He’ll rig the game for those who he considers a friend, or who he considers to be close to him in general really, and make sure they win too. They’re part of his house at that point.
--
At the same time, his entire character is etched, outlined, and underlined with a distinct detached nature. One that makes the people who see him as a two-faced snake think they’re right to believe it. One that makes those people believe he truly is a sadistic, manipulative, greedy bastard with no morals. Really, it more so just means that these comments don’t sting as much as they used to for him.
--
If we’re being honest, he’s been hurt before. Broken down until he can’t think or see anything but what’s directly in front of him without escape. He’s felt trapped, he’s been pushed to self medicate, and ended up with his feelings stunted. Others say he’s heartless, he responds that he wishes that were the case. Metaphorically or literally, you’ll never know. Probably both.

“I didn’t join for love, but I was eligible and it seemed like a fun idea. If I find love along the way, then that’s just a bonus. Hopefully you all can keep up.”
Relationship Status?: Single.
Ex(es): Quinlan/Marisol. This deity was one of the only longer relationships he’s ever been in, with it clocking in at about 10 months before ending.
--
Most of his past relationships have been short lived and intense. The longest relationship he’s ever had was three years long and thoroughly ruined longer relationships for him when it ended, not a single one has ever reached even a year after it.

If another deity wants to be his ex then let’s plan lmao
