I love the shading. It feels like is standing in frount of me. And the earing. I do not know why, but I think it is cool. Maybe add some color to the eyes. A little red might add to the look nicely. And toss in some more menace to the pot of art.

The general shape of everything looks fine but somehow everything looks off a bit. The legs are very skinny. I would recommend making them at least 1.5x thicker. I would also recommend making the supporting spines for the thing on its back thicker and less line like. Same with the wings. i think with some practice your art style could end up looking pretty good. - Please keep in mind this is a bit unfinished Edited at May 24, 2024 02:27 PM by Dawnforest

The anatomy of the two cats are pretty good, but the left cat's hind leg could be a bit thicker. The coloring on the cats is also good, but the background clashes with it a lot because of the solid black outline. I'd suggest making the outlines on the cats like a brown color? Overall very nice :) - this is also a wip if the next person has a name suggestion that would be nice too lol

what a lovely character !! I really love the design so far, and the shading/detail you have on the shirts look amazing ! there are a couple things I notice with the anatomy- i understand this piece is a wip and I change my sketches a hundred times before i do the lines as well haha. The foot on the left is much bigger than the one on the right- it seems like the right foot will be slightly smaller because it is more behind the character? But I think it is too thin/small in comparison to the left. The eye on the side profile seems to be just barely too high as well. overall a really great piece so far! I cant wait to see it when it is complete. Maybe Milo for the name? ♥♥ recent commission I did ! the lad

9.5/10 I like it! The pose fits the vibe I'm getting from the character and anatomy is very good. - Been a hot minute since I did a landscape piece, and I was in the car while doing it - :

The colors are really pleasant and they fit together well! I also enjoy the composition, the placement of the scenery and the character is well thought out. I think there's some parts of the anatomy that could use work though- for one, the base of the wing is really thin and doesn't look like it could support anything. My second iffy is the torso, the neck is not parallel to the top of the shoulders but there aren't any folds on the fabric. if you plan to fully render the whole thing I can't wait to see it ^^ --- uh, i need anatomy help >> they're supposed to be looking up with the perspective slightly looking down i didn't use a reference although I probably should have lol

Oooh for paper that coloring is super smooth! I will say, cat faces are still super hard for me too but I've learned that they're a little more round and floofy than you think. XDD I'm still learning there too. Looks good! I have this basic-basic ref?? Is it a ref?? I don't even know. (c)85543

I like the way you put the colors for color picking and the elements, it's more than the typical ref, and I'm not just saying that because you called it basic!! And the posing is great! I can tell you've been drawing humans a lot. It erased my original text, the part up there sounded so much better! But about where the nose meets the upper lip area, has been skipped by the outline, and makes the upper lip look shorter than it actually is, that doesn't mean you have to put a crevice there though. But if that's the intended phenotype of the character, then nevermind that, but it seems unlikely since it's seen in other character's art too. Really nice art by the way. An image to continue the game Compared to [Mod Edit: Image/link removed for hotlinking.]Don't mind the lack of the marking on the shoulder area. Edited at October 27, 2024 08:50 AM by Eternity

Time to slap some activity back into this thread before it gets deleted LMAO.
The markings are very well illustrated + transferred onto your piece, and I like the overall readability of the pose/the silhouette of the drawing. The variation in line thickness is also done really well.
I think the lineart could do with some more detailing, similar to the fur on the inside of the ear. Some definition to the fur rather than having a smooth line and maybe some more facial detailing to show the overall form on the wolf would really push it to the next level [such as muzzle/whisker detailing]. Here's some examples of extra detail you can add to a lineart!
