Rylie stayed silent, her eyes burning into the book in her hands. Why was she getting so flustered??? This was someone who had kidnapped her and forced her to stay at his base!

Elis laughs and said " you like it but try tell yourself that" before shaking his head and sighed before reading his book and said " what you reading "

Rylie blushed harder, glancing back up at him, and showing him the cover of the book.

"Shadow and Bone. I have to say, you have good taste."

Elis laughs and said" I try reading that I don't understand it as much " as he smiles before looking down

Rylie allowed a small smile to slip onto her face.

"It's a bit confusing at the beginning, with the new countries and the Grisha, but once you understand the basics, it's actually a really, really great book series."

Elis said " hmmm well I didn't far into so I never knew " before smiles and looks at her and then away and said " you know I don't attend on hurting you"

Rylie gazed at him, trying to figure out what was going on inside his head. "I kind of figured that. Why would you keep me alive if that was your intention."

Elis said " i really don't have use for a cop but I don't kill girls because of that" as he lookback at her and sighed

Rylie shrugged and looked back down at her book. "Whatever you plan to do with me, it's not like I can go anywhere anyway." She said, chuckling.

Elis looks at her and said " no if you truly want to get away with it " as he looks at the book and sighed
