The female started laughing.

"Darling I'm not Amber," she spat at the name Amber "I'm Persephone." She stepped out of the shadows and into the light, her hair was mainly red but was starting to form streaks of black, especially on the bangs. Persephone shockingly didn't wear any shoes, she walked bearfoot and has a gold anklet on, representing her inability to leave this prison she's in herself.

"I can probably ask my husband about it..."

" wait... tHE persephone?" CHani questioned " oh my goodness..." she mumbled as she looked at her. Then she looked at the anklet So it really is true... the stories ive heard... she said quickly looking away " I cant be stuck in here forever... I was foolish to think I could defeat the demon I fought but I was wrong... but I still owe my life to your husband. I have a favor to ask him"

She then got rid of her wings and placed her hand on the glass " I want to serve him for as long as he wishes.... but not stuck in here..."

She looked sympatheticly at Chani.

"I'll do the best of my ability to help you... He won't like hearing it but I know what he likes, I'll take a few hits for you." She slightly smiled before she returned to her more sad and distressed expression. She walked back up the stairs slowly watching Chani, thinking.

Persephone arrived with the king and Amber, Amber in her hellhound state, she acted more like a dog. The king was trying be handsy on Persephone but she resisted heavily.

"I've made a decision... You. Will be able to roam free... IF you do not do any harm to anyone here, understood...?" The king stared down at Chani through the glass.

Chani shivered heavily at his words thank God! she thought

" y-yes sir... I understand... " she said looking into his eyes for the first time since she was at his feet. " But what if someone tried to attach me? Then do I have permissio to attack back to keep my life?"

She looked at Amber then at persephone then back at the King, her head down since she was his til he let her free.

"Give her the whistle..." Persephone said coldly at the King. The King shook his head competing with his thought before growling out.

"Fine! You can have Amber's whistle, she is to obey and come to your aid." He said, he glared at Amber as she growled slightly annoyed. The King tapped the floor and the glass came down, letting Chani free.

(I SWEAR, I will draw Persephone, she sounds so pretty and the way I'm invisioning her is amazing-)

Chani finally was ablr to get out of the glass and unfolded eher white and gold feathered wings before looking at Amber and smirked This could be fun She laughed as she then also stretched her tired arms and legs. “ I’ll be sure to treat her the way she deserves, sir” she laughed taking the whistle and ut it in her pocket.

She kept her hand in her pocket, playing with the whistle. Feelings its contours. But her eyes on Amber.

Amber growled even more.

Persephone secretly smiled at Chani, she tried looking as unhappy as she could to her husband.

The king felt uninterested in dealing with Chani more so he glared at her as he walked away.

"Behave yourself... You're lucky you're alive" he said as he walked away with Persephone.

Now that Chani was "free" of the cage that she was in, she decided to go explore the demons home.

" Why dont we explore... by "we" I mean me" Chani said with a smirk as she looked at Amber before walking past her and just started to look around. Her hand still around the whistle that the King gave her.

She then spotted what looked like a garden of sorts a few minutes later " Hm.... Well since I can go anywhere... I think I wanna go in here and see whats here"

She opened the door and felt the hot air around her. Somthing that she was never used to.

There was a new figure in the garden, she was tending the flowers and the plants, they seemed to move with her body. Her ears were oddly fox ears, making her a Kitsune. She turned her head very quickly, but her eyes were a milky blue over her eyes.

"Hello...?" She said quickly turned her head scanning the area with her ears.

" Im sorry... I didnt see anyone here..." Chani apologized. " I was just walking around and found this garden... I hope you dont mind me walk around. "

She then looked at Amber and tilted her head " better stay close to me if I break anything or get hurt... you wouldnt want the Kings little prize to die now, would you?" She gave a little chuckle before walking around the garden and looked a the weirdest of plants.
