Fighter puts his head up and says, "its 1am, is something wrong?" he looks at her confused adding, "the humans are miles and miles away, you can calm down now" he tells her, then Stone jumps up on Ice's shoulder and pets her with his tiny rat paws.

She takes a shuddering breath.

" sorry... just dreams... bad dreams..." she looks at Fighter, pain and fear in her eyes. She lays down again and trys to sleep, sleep doesn't come for her though, she was remembering all the things she'd been through her whole life.

Fighter comes over to her and puts his paw on her saying, "then can I and Stone help you with anything?" he asks her while shes thinking.

she looks at him.

" no... it's ok... just..." she yawns showing her sharp fangs.

" Just don't leave my side... please..." she closes her eyes and soon her breathing becomes deep and even. she wakes up around 4 am again.

Ice decided to go outside and watch the sky, it relaxed her. she went outside for a while and ended up passed out outside the den.

Fighter opens his eyes watching Ice going outside and hearing the passing out he puts his head up, waiting for when will she come back in or will he have to go to her? "Maybe I should check in on her" he thinks to himself and walks up silently behind her by 3 feet.

ice was still asleep and didn't notice him behind her

He keeps looking at where she is looking, and keeps waiting for eye contact.

ice groaned softly as she heard him come near.

" how long was i out here?" she sounds tired and strained.

she looked at him, trying so hard to stand up, she couldn't.

" This happens a lot... it's ok... I'm ok... It's just this leg of mine..." she said quietly

"You were here around some good 10 minutes at least", he looks at her not able to stand up and asks, "need help? I am willing to help you with anything" he tells her convincingly.

she sighs.

" Come here..."

she raised her head again knowing she might be about to scare him away, but she was so thirsty for companionship that she didn't care anymore, she was going to let down her guard.
