Bree "Yeah it's fine, I'm just having a little PTSD I guess," I said running my fingers through my hair and lightly scratching my scalp. It slowly began to work as I calmed myself down, which was better than nothing. I stared at the waves trying to get rid of the memories but it wasn't working so I just tried to close my eyes to stop the flashbacks. DJ I look at you and swim over quickly. "hey....what can I do" I look up at you wondering if there was anything i could do to help. I watched your eyes dart back and forth behind you eyelids and sighed realizing there probably wasnt anything I could do. "hey...im here if you wanna talk at all or just need someone" |

Bree "There isn't really anything you can do," I said "NO matter where I am my PTSD still has a possibility of kicking in. Anytime I get violent or I'm required to fight it will kick in unless it's the real deal." I said then sighed. "I guess you could call me a veteran, i used to work with the military but not officially, and I'm older than I look," I said with a small smile "Since I'm a type of fae hybrid I can live to be well over 1,000 years old, so you can only try and guess my age. But I have a lot of trauma, most of it happened on beaches where I suicide-bombed boats dropping off soldiers or just bombing boats in general." I explained |

DJ I looked at you and nodded my head "I-uh, would a hug help at all" I smiled slightly as some of the fish around me hopped out of the water. I made my way out of the water but had to wait for my tail to dry off before I could even attempt to stand up. "but thats only if your fine with hugs, and I kinda understand the trauma I had a bad accident with my father when I was younger that included a large fishing boat, now I cant go neer any without freaking out or flinching" |

Bree "A hug would make it feel worse, it would make me feel trapped and I would have a flight or fight response," I explained looking at the sand. "I'm not afraid or anything, but the PTSD just brings back bad memories and I kind of go back into fighting mode because everything looks different. It's hard to snap back into reality and the have been issues in the past of me being stuck in an episode and there were some casualties." I said and my ears pinned against my head. |

DJ I nod my head and look at you "ok, well if you do ever want a hug ive been known to give good ones" I laugh slightly. "I just wish I could help you" I look at you and my tail dried up and I attempt to stand up and stumble over. I sigh and just sit down "I wish walking was easier, how do you do it so easily" |

Bree I let out a light laugh, "I don't walk like a normal human due to my wings, I have to lean forward a little to walk without falling over. It's best to learn from a young age around the same time we learn to fly, that way we learned to use our wings to help stop us from falling. Maybe you can throw your arms out to help level out your balance," I suggested pointing to his arms. I paused, he distracted me from my flashbacks so I couldn't think of them or so they weren't on my mind anymore. My eyes went wide as I looked at him in surprise, he was clueless to what he did. |

DJ I nod my head and stand up, before iI move i hold out my arm and start to walk towards you. "woah.....ahhh" I say as I fall again. "well I got farther this time, so thats a plus" I smile and look at you. I stand up and start to walk again with my arms out an instead of looking at my feet I look straight and manage to walk over to a rock next to you before I fall over again. "thank you for the tip to help me figure out how to walk" |

Bree "It's hard to teach how to do it after it becomes natural to you, I guess the best choice is just repetition. Maybe work on the strength of your legs and start off on your hands and knees and work on standing up without wobbling." I suggested. I was getting hungry again I stood up and separated myself a good distance from him. I walked along the beach looking in the bushes for edible berries. Once I found them I started to gather them in my shirt and carried them back as I sat against a log. I took my mask off and watched him as I ate my snack. |

DJ I smiled as I got down on my hands and knees and started to crawl arround till my knees started to hurt. I then sat down and sighed and watched the waves crash onto the beach. I dusted the sand off my knees and looked at my feet as I wiggled my toes, I always wondered what the exact purpose of toes were but I didnt think I would ever figure it out. I then looked at my hands, I took my gloves off. this time when I shifted from my tail to my legs the webbing between my fingers almost completely dissapeared this time and I smiled. I then stood up and walked over to the rock I was originally at and looked at you. "hey...how would you feel if when I was stable enough to walk on my legs I went into the village and got you some fish with the pearls I collect so that you dont have to try to find as much fish" |
