" Come on little one... i need you to live... please... live..." she whispered, hoping with all her might. the small pup opened her eyes, they were bright blue.

" thank the stars!" aroura said shakily, her nerves evaporating

Arreon smiles and looks at the pup." I knew she'd live.." He stands up and watches the pups." These are ours... to protect and keep..." He licks aroura's nose and looks back at the pups

" once they get a little bigger we'll be able to take them outside, and they'll be able to eat more food that won't wear me out." Aroura sits up.

" we should name them... I'll name one and you can name the other." aroura said

"I'll name two you name two.." He smiles and looks at the little girl pup in front of him." You'll be Estheria or Essie for short..." He licks her head and cuddles closer

aroura glances downward at the small weaker pup.

" I'll name you Athena... and I'll name the other little pup... clypso..." aroura said, nuzzzeling her family before putting her head down and closing her eyes, not falling asleep.

"I'll name him... Angel.. he'll be like me but stronger.." He smiles as he nods his head to the pup farthest away and the one that is already starting to walk and has his eyes open." He'll be amazing..."

aroura didn't reply, deep in thought.

She knew the pups would be ok, but she didn't know if she was really ready to be a alpha, what if she failed, what if they lost all of the pups?! Her mind was racing, she wouldn't be able to sleep now at this rate.

"Love..." He says quietly and stands up walking over to her and laying down." Love.. it'll be fine.. I promise we'll get through it together.." He licks her muzzle and snuggles closer

" Im scared..." aroura whimpered, moving her head to rest it on his sholder. she was shaking slightly

"You'll be fine.. Get a good night sleep and we'll figure it out tomorrow.. I got the pups you just rest you've had a rough time.." He lays his head on her paws and falls asleep quickly
