Nakia smiled at Rowan and happily ate the meat. Sure, it wasn't good as freshly caught rabbit but Rowan was doing her best to be a mother. And Nakia was living for it. "Thank you momma Rowan." The shifter smiled at their new mother.

Hyll nibbles on some fruit, and smiled happily, in agreement with the other two. Once everyone had eaten their fill, Hyll stretched, her head bobbing, "I am exhausted. I'd... like to head to my tree and rest," She looked at Rowan for permission, "Of course. Good nights Hyll."

A knock rang through the house without warning and Nakia practically jumped 8ft into the air, only stopped by hitting her head on the ceiling. Ashe fell onto the floor with a loud "oof," poor thing wasn't used to the indoors or loud noises. Neo laughed openly at the small shifter, the little girl hissing with a passion at him.

Hyll slid from her chair to the floor, in front of Nakia, "Are you okay? Does your head hurt badly?" Concern for her new little sister was in both Hyll's face and voice. She wanted to be the best big sister possible.

Nakia whimpered softly as Hyll asked her questions. It was so loud in these houses, not enough quiet for a little shifter like herself. Neo had stopped laughing after realizing Nakia was actually hurting and crawled over to them too. "It hurts a little, not too bad though. Momma had it worse." She said the words simply but it was obvious that she wouldn't ever say her pain was too bad because her mother had been through way worse. It was sad, but undeniably true.

Hyll scooted closer to Nakia, and gently rubbed her head, "It's okay to be hurt. It doesn't minimize it." She didn't know what exactly happened, but based on the fact that she called Rowan 'Mama Rowan' led Hyll to believe that Nakia's mama was gone from this world, "Right now, Nakia, does your head hurt? If it does, we can fix it."

Nakia shook her head, gently rubbing the spot it hurt the most. "It's okay, I didn't hit it too hard. Just stings a little." She released a small sigh and Neo smiled. "You sure? Alvaro can stop the pain, he did it for me once." Neo wasn't about to rip his shirt open to show them his deep scars but hopefully Nakia trusted him enough to believe him.
