Ayesha nods,"Yea. We were informed to keep an eye out for any possible spies." Alisane nods,"I know. But...We don't know how they plan on finishing their mission." The elf sighs,"Everyday they get closer and closer to completeing thier mission, and everyday we lose more and more to them." Ayesha frowns,"My parents went as spies you said?" Alisane's eyes narrow slightly,"Yes...Why?" Ayesha bites her lip,"I want to go to the Ender's Eye-" Alisane's eyes widen in shock as Ayesha continues.
"-As a spy."
Alisane blinks,"Well. That isn't for me to decide. The whole Council has to vot-" Ayesha cuts in,"We don't have time for that. You kept me hidden my whole life. The Ender's Eye doesn't know who I am. I can go in as a spy. Even if they do figure it out, they won't be able to get anything out of me because for one I haven't even graduted. For two, I know none of the Council's secrets. Heck I just now only found out you were on the Council and my parents were agents for the Council." Alisane frowns,"Very well. But it would be dangerous to go alone. I will allow it on one condition." Ayesha bobs her head.
"I can do it on my own though."

Leo rolled his eyes and huffed, setting his chin in his hands. Chatting blah blah blah blah. The same ol' cliche stuff. Parents died mysteriously, somehow connected to this thing, and she wants to go in as a spy. His lip curled before he let out a short scoff. "Uh, hello? What am I? The responsibility?" Leo stood up and huffed, nearly stamping his feet. "I'm still here and quite frankly, that's going to take too much time and I'm pretty sure they do know who you are." "They attacked the school--literally obliterated it--which means they know who was in the school. Me, you, all of them." His eyes flashed dangerously. "Spies isn't going to work," he finally stated. "We're going to have to just confront them up and up and just work with it. They're going to kneel down for us rather than trying to fight and pick our way through the ranks and all that." His ruby red eyes flickered before he squared his shoulders. "Quite frankly, I've listened to absolutely none of what was just said because I don't care. It's the same family secret and all that stuff that the old people hide from the kids but then it turns out that this whole thing is connected and blah blah blah," he raised an eyebrow. "Quite frankly, it's boring," Leo stated and rolled his eyes. "Spies takes too long and it's not helpful. We're going to take them out one by one until we have them kneeling at our feet."

Asliane inclines her head,"Understandable. But the spy idea is better then the whole taking them out one by one. Ender's Eye is a very big organzation. There are hundreds perhaps millions of them. Spread out across the world, and we don't even know how to identify all of them." Ayesha leaps to her feet, her own eyes flashing. "You want to go through the whole world and pick off one at a time? If there truly are millions and hundreds, then how long do you think that will take? Even if our life span is expanded because of our genetic ability we still wouldn't even get halfway through the organization."
Ayesha takes a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down. "Look, both those ideas are bad. We need to come up with a better one. Even if it doesn't get approved by the Council." Ayesha glances at Asliane,"We are going to have to do things that will probably not be agreeable by the Council. We have to get down to the level the Ender's have gotten if we want to take them out. We have to think like them." Ayesha glances back at Leo.
"Spies won't work, but trying to take out every Ender one by one isn't going to work! Because I am sure that the Council has tried that." Aslaine nods agreeing to what Ayesha said.

Leo set his hands on his hips, raising an eyebrow. "I didn't mean that literally," he rolled his eyes and placed one hand on his forehead, letting out a short sigh through his nose. This was going to be a long journey. "What I meant was to be the bigger threat!" He waved his hands. "We can go around in circles saying how bad each idea is but until we actually start doing something, it's nothing!" He added. "Great, we think like the Ender. Now what? We're like them? We've got to be bigger than they are," he waved his arms with his words, pacing in a line. "I don't care what the council says, they're just a bunch of old senile people who haven't got enough brains to just retire yet." Apelios finally squared his shoulders. "If there's one thing I've been taught through my whole life," he faced the pair. "It's been the single sentence; 'When presented with a problem, be the bigger problem.' Don't let your problems control you, what's the Ender? A problem. So you know what I'm going to be? A problem to them." He sucked in a quick breath. "Might not make a lot of sense to you two but it makes sense enough to me."

Ayesha replies,"Well how are we suppose to do that? Don't you think the Council has been trying to do that for a long time. If you mean the two of us, well there are only two of us. There isn't a whole lot we can do just two of us. Most all of the other extrodinary who are our age are dead, and most of the others who are alive are with the Ender's." Asliane cuts in,"The Council actually has a law that prevents old senile people from keeping their seat to long and to keep bringing in new ideas."
That much Ayesha knew about, and she also knew that retired Council members were still allowed to attend Council meetings to help input any helpful information. Ayesha takes a deep breath trying to calm herself down before she lost it and shifted in the house. "Look. There isn't much we can do, we can run in circles again and again. But when it comes down to it, how are we possibly going to defeat the Ender's?"

Leo shrugged loosely. "Sometimes we don't have an answer right away," he stated and crossed his arms. "We've just got to get going and all east work on going the right way before we get stuck in the circle. If we're moving then it's something, innit?" His ruby gaze flicked between the pair for a long moment before Leo shook his head. "There's only two of us, well, would it kill you to at least look on the bright side? We're shifters. We don't actually know the full extent of our abilities. Which means there's a possibility that we could be the keys to taking it down!" He waved his arms and then grinned. "Why let them stop us?"

Ayesha takes a deep breath, sighing slightly before nodding. "I suppose that's true. Since the Council has been looking for an answer for years." Aslaine cuts in gently,"Decades." Ayesha's eyes flash with surprise, before nodding. She had a newfound respect for her guardian, now that Aslaine had spilt more and wasn't so cold and guarded. It was clear now that Asliane cared for Ayesha a lot, and perhaps that was why the elf had offered to take care and become Ayesha's guardian when her parents died.
Ayesha cocks an eyebrow,"Look on the bright side?" She muses,"There isn't much of a bright side but sure." Then she chuckles,"I'm a weredragon with a bad temper, and I haven't learned how to really control the shift fully. Yet. So..Sure why not." Asliane chuckles,"Your parents struggled to. But you will learn Ash, and it will become like a second nature to shift from your human form to your dragon form."

"Well for one," Leo jut his hip out and huffed. "You're still alive." He looked toward the window and squared his shoulders before his posture fell. His shoulders sank down with a soft sigh that escaped from his lips. The young man bit down on his lip and struggled to stifle the emotion that rose in his throat. Finally he shook his head, lifting his hands and turning around to face the two again. "It's not easy to look on the bright side, trust me. I know," Apelios sighed quietly. "But if you're not going to help then I'm going to do this on my own. We can stay here and keep chatting on an one sided conversation while I just hang around awkwardly like some third wheel or we can actually do something." Leo almost refused to admit that he was feeling... well... left out and bored. Nothing of the information actually pertained to him. In fact, he didn't think he could care less about it. It was a struggle to stifle those emotions and what little slipped out came out in frustration.

Ayesha pauses, that was true. She inclines her head,"I'll give you that." Before watching as Leo seemed to deflate for a moment, before his gaze was back on her. Ayesha grunts,"For a world that is so extrodinary, there sure is a lot of death." Asliane snorts,"Tell me about it." Then Ayesha's gaze flashes and she shakes her head. "For one, I'm not going to just sit here at home like nothing happened. I will help." She responds, a fierce fire flashing through her, then she takes a deep breath calming herself down. "Yes. I will help."

"Then for bloody sakes would you listen to me?" Leo snapped back at them, his eyes blazing. The tips of his fingers turned a bit golden, struggling to contain himself to one form. "Sweet Nyvus, you two have done nothing but chat and bicker like an old married couple while I putter around absolutely bored out of my mind and you two are completely oblivious to it!" His ruby red gaze flared as he finally shifted, wings folded but his tail was lashing from side to side. "You want to help? Well why not start listening to me?!" Apelios snarled, his voice raised in frustration. "You stare back at me with that stupid look on your face and then you tell me, you tell me, that my idea is somehow stupid? Well, y'know what? At least it's better than trying to take decades to try and infiltrate the Ender which, by the way, they already know you. And hello? Your PARENTS died because they attempted to be spies in this very organization. That didn't ring any alarm bells did it? Hello? They know everyone who is connected to the council." He stalked toward the door, struggling to twist the doorknob with his claw on his wings. "Bloody--" he took a step back, leaning on his tail while his prosthetic foot twisted the doorknob and then stalked out the door. "I'm going now. You can either keep chatting or follow me." Apelios spread his wings out, stretching in the dappled sunlight. Edited at May 15, 2021 12:09 PM by Blue Stargazer
